Friend family reunion

This space fit our group of 24 pretty well and had great space and amenities. Room 7 doesnt have doors, just curtains (centrally located gathering space), so that wasn't ideal for a family to sleep, but it worked out. The pool was great, still just right for September swimming and safe with the cover for little ones to stay. The property allowed us to all be together in one space but never feel crowded. It was a labyrinth that just kept going, and the master is big enough to comfortably fit a family of 4+. The location was far enough to be away from town but close enough to get groceries we needed, and the views didnt quit. Thanks for the prompt communication!

Cathedral August 2024

We loved our stay at the Cathedral in Paso Robles! We really enjoyed all the amenities including the pool, the spa, and the game room, and could not recommend this place enough for large groups. It comfortably slept 26 people and allowed us all the time and space to relax and enjoy our time in the sun.

Nice size house!

We went with six families and we had plenty of room! House is well stocked. We enjoyed the pool . Some things are a little dated but all is clean and safe! We are talking about staying again next year!!

Great house to host a larger group

We stayed here with 16 adults and had a great time. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to prepare meals. The rooms and beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the sauna and took cold plunges in the pool. Overall, we had a great time. We may even stay there again. To be honest, the house is a tad dated, but there have been some upgraded/remodeled aspects that still made it enjoyable.

Lovey Stay. Perfect for a large group of friends!

We stayed at this property with several families to celebrate a birthday. Everyone was very impressed with the place as it's a truly beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable, there was a plenty of cups/plates/etc and seating around tables. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place for large groups looking for a nice stay!

Wonderful home for family reunion!!

We had a family reunion/birthday gathering for Labor Day weekend with about 15 people. We were celebrating an 80th birthday and 70th birthday. The home was amazing! There were 6 bedrooms and 1 curtained off room with 2 bunk beds that was perfect and so much fun for the 4 kids!! There was so much space in the home and the entertainment room kept the kids and adults busy! The hosts were so thoughtful and put up a birthday sign for us (I had forgotten that I mentioned that) and left us some local delicious goodies. The home was very clean (which I’m particular about), the beds were like sleeping on big clouds (we had such great sleep!!), and even the bath towels were so soft!! The internet was a little slow, but gave more reason to just focus on family time. Would definitely love to rent this home again in the future! Made amazing memories for us!!

Great family reunion for our fiftieth!

20 of us enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property and hated to leave! We would love to return. The weather was hot, so the pool was just perfect for us. The location of the house midway between Paso Robles and Atascadero was very convenient. The property manager was wonderful to work with.

Great Weekend Geyaway

We had a large group of 7 families, 26 people total, which was a great fit because this house has 7 bedrooms. It worked out perfectly because all of the bedrooms are rather spacious and able to accommodate pac’n’plays, luggage, etc. The house itself is a little old and rickety in some areas, but they have done a great job of upgrading the appliances, adding new furniture, and including space heaters and plug-in AC units throughout the house for added comfort. The beds/mattresses/bedding were all new and super comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed to cook for our large group and there is an extra freezer and fridge in the garage to store food and drinks that don’t fit in the kitchen. The game room was a big hit, we played pool and foosball, watched the playoffs, and generally hung out a lot in there. We also took full advantage of the sauna and heated pool in the afternoons while the weather was nice and warm. The pool reached a max of 78 degrees, which was ok, but don’t expect a steaming pool for night swims if outside temperatures drop or if it gets windy. The location is also convenient with plenty of grocery stores about 7 minutes away, and tons of wineries within 15-20 minutes. Check in and check out was a breeze and AvantStay was responsive to all of our requests and questions. Overall a wonderful trip and a perfect location to create new memories with our kids and families.

Great for large groups and families. The game room with the pool table, foosball and games were a hit. Extremely well equipped kitchen. View is unbelievable and peaceful. Property worked well for our group of 12 + dog. House has six real bedrooms and a converted living room with four bunk beds. There are probably five full and half bathrooms. House does have two distinct living areas which works well for large groups. Strengths are nearby to wineries and groceries, sprawling house with space, above average kitchen that is very well stocked. Opportunities include listing that says “spa” so I assumed hot tub but it is really a stand-alone sauna, very limited bandwidth (~7MBS), deferred maintenance, and small outdoor grill. Ultimately I would stay there again.

Beautiful Home for a Large Group

Rented this home for a bachelorette with about 19 ladies. The listing is a true depiction of the home, we enjoyed the decor, the size was perfect, and did not have any problems with anything. The property management was more than accommodating throughout the whole process since booking to our post stay visit, they were responsive with texting and answered all questions promptly. If you have a large group, this is the perfect place to stay. Every room has it's own little charm and the view is amazing. Thank you for a great trip!

My 80th Birthday Bash!

We are a large group of women in our 70's and early 80's. We are all very active and Bicycling is our passion and what binds us. I found this incredible house on VRBO, managed by AvantStay and it was the perfect place in every way to enjoy my 80th birthday! We found the sleeping arrangements excellent including very comfortable beds in all the 7 bedrooms. The modern kitchen had all the utensils, dishes and cookware that we needed as all meals were prepared in the house. Each of the 3 days we were there we went on beautiful 20 -27 mile bike rides. Returning to our luxurious home, we then enjoyed all the outside amenities including horse shoes, corn hole, basketball, and even plunging in the freezing cold swimming pool after a hot sweat in the sauna! The AvantStay Team was on top of every detail including bringing Root Beer Float ingredients to the whole group of us! They were incredible to work with! I am pretty sure we will be returning in early November for the next 80th Birthday Bash! Why go anywhere else, once you have found heaven!

A super Family getaway in Paso Robles

Overall the property worked pretty well for us ,we had 9 adults and 6 kids . Having only two bedrooms ( Master and two bed room ) with a bathroom ensuite is a disadvantage ,particularly for adults . The bunk bed room with no door is a serious disadvantage as you cannot put young kids in it . In a lot of the bedrooms there was little or no shelf or drawer storage space and one had to leave your clothes in your suitcase ! Kitchen ,dining and living areas were all excellent . The House Manager ,Jill , was top class .She responded very quickly to our needs and looked after us very well . A definite 5star rating for Jill .

Great house for a group of 10 to 15 adults. Four bunkbeds in a room without a door might be good for kids, but a little odd for adults. But overall, a great house to hang out in and around the property. Good location.
