Herzlich Willkommen auf unserer Meeresparadies am Kahana Outrigger. Wir sind sehr stolz auf unsere Insel zu Hause und wollen, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie alles, was Sie für einen sehr angenehmen und komfortablen Urlaub brauchen. Wir werden weiterhin unsere Einheit jedes Jahr während unserer Aufenthalte aktualisieren. Verbesserungen auf unserer letzten Reise inklusive einer neuen Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Herd (mit zwei Ofenfächer), Trump König Matratze für die Master-Suite, neue Toiletten, und alle neuen Fenster Beläge (Jalousien). Andere jüngsten Verbesserungen gehören eine neue WIFI Internet-Anschluss, alle neuen Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern, ein neues Deckenventilator im Wohnzimmer, vier neue Flachbild-TV, einen Blu-ray-DVD-Player, neue Waschmaschine und Trockner, neue Möbel im Wohnzimmer , Esszimmer, und alle drei Schlafzimmer, Lanai neue Möbel und eine neue Sealy König Matratze für das zweite Schlafzimmer. Außerdem haben wir neue Bettdecken auf allen Betten, neue Kleingeräte (Kaffeemaschine, Mixer, Wasserkocher), neue Gerichte, neue Besteck und Messer, ein neues Hochstuhl, Boogie Boards, und neue Sandspielzeug (einschließlich einer großen Muldenkipper!) .

Wir haben gerade eine gründliche Fall Reinigung und Wartung des Gerätes einschließlich Bleichen alle Küchenschubladen und Schränke, waschen alle Gerichte, die Reinigung unter allen Betten, Waschen Sie die Sockelleisten, und vieles mehr. Hier ist eine Liste unserer Lieblings-Dinge über der Wohnung:

1. Die Wohnung ist direkt am Meer mit herrlichem, unverbauten Blick auf das Meer und die benachbarten Inseln Lanai und Molokai aus.

2. Wir sind im Erdgeschoss mit einfachem Zugang zum Strand und am Pool. Wir sind nur ein Muschelwurf vom Wasser entfernt.

3. Die Wohnung ist über 1450 sq ft -.. Groß genug, um alle ihren eigenen Raum zu geben.

4. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 Badezimmer - ideal für mehrere Familien, Großfamilien, und Freund get-aways.

5. Es gibt eine Badewanne, Waschmaschine / Trockner, ein Hochstuhl, eine Packung 'n' Play, ein Kinderwagen und Sandspielzeug im Gerät, praktisch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern.

6. Zusätzlich zu der sehr privaten Strand an der Haustür, haben Sie Ihre Wahl von einigen der besten Strände auf Maui. Kahana Beach ist nur einen Block von unserer Haustür und bietet große Schwimmen für die ganze Familie. Napili Bay Beach ist nur wenige Minuten nördlich und hat einige der besten Schnorchelbedingungen auf der Westseite. Gleich hinter Napili ist der berühmte Kapalua Bay Beach, die bewertet wurde die # 1 Strand in amerikanischen zweimal! Auch Minuten entfernt sind Flemings Beach, ideal für das Surfen und Boogie-Boarding und Honolua Bay, eine natürliche Wasserwelt Heiligtum.

7. Unsere Maui Haus ist Teil eines low-rise, Dichte Eigentumswohnung Entwicklung niedrig mit 4 Gebäuden mit jeweils 4 Wohneinheiten (5 Stufen). Wir sind in einer ruhigen Straße nur wenige Minuten von den besten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel gelegen und sind, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Weltklasse-Stränden!

8. Es ist nicht ungewöhnlich, um aufzuwachen, um morgens Regenbogen über dem Wasser, Zeuge besuchen Buckelwale Verletzung durch das Wasser (in der Saison) oder vor Ort ansässigen Meeresschildkröten faul floating in vor unseren Grashügel alle aus dem Komfort von unserem Lanai.

Location is key

Best location with steps to the beach, turtles swimming by, whales breaching and no afternoon sun. We had a great time. Yes, the place could use updating but you can’t beat the location. The host was amazing as well- great communication and helped us with a late check out when our flight changed.

Overall ok

We were very happy with the location but had a few problems. The house was very old and a lot was not working within the house when we visit (fridge, house lights-we swapped light bulbs with no luck, and dishwasher). The house also had no air mattress which was on the listing and only 4 beach towels. Overall the condo was fine but we were disappointed in the quality.

Family Thanksgiving in Maui

Our family of five adults plus one infant had an amazing vacation in Maui for 10 days over Thanksgiving. The property location was wonderful and very convenient to Lahaina and other West Maui towns. This worked out well for attending the Maui Invitational college basketball tournament held at the Lahaina Civic Center. The condo is only a few steps from the ocean seawall and a nice private, sandy beach is just around the corner. The pool and tropical grounds of this small complex is meticulously kept. Sunsets from the lanai were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked although the freezer lacked an ice maker. The property in general is somewhat dated and could use a refurbishment however it was comfortable. Overall, this was a wonderful stay!

Vacation in paradise

Home was exactly as described in the listing. Offering its almost private beach and pool. Everything within reach. The house was well apportioned and comfortably slept 5 of us each with their own bedroom and bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed to stay for a week. Communication and check-in process was simple and the communication often and clear. We have a wonderful time and hope to be back before too long. This is a definite return visit destination and stay location.

Amazing Location

The condo is in a beautiful location with a beach and pool. While older and not renovated, it vas very clean, comfortable, and had such an amazing view. The owner was very kind to work with us as our family got separated due to the fires. This is a gem of a place to stay.

On the Ocean in Maui

Beautiful location, right on the ocean, beach right off the lanai. Great location to also explore other beaches in the area and close to Lahaina. Enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau, best one on the islands. Plenty of room for our six adults and one infant to spread out.

Awesome choice for our group

For us this was a great location, away from the masses yet close enough to enjoy all the area offers. The ocean is literally steps away. Lots of whale watching from the deck. This home was comfortable, clean and stocked with quality cookware, tableware, utensils and appliances. Many restaurants and food trucks close by.

Very large, well equipped. Beautiful spot with private beach and lawn. Yes, it is a bit old (lights, AC not working, but the bottom line is that we would come back to enjoy the condo, without any reservation.

Great location, owner communication needs improvement.

The description of the condo was accurate in terms of the condition. It does need new flooring, counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, and some tlc with sliding screen door as well as windows. But considering how close it is to the ocean, I bet it’s hard to keep up with the corrosion caused by salt water. However, the beds and bedding were comfortable, lots of dishes and silverware, great selection of pots and pans, good set of knives, a good coffee maker and dishwasher. Laundry facilities were welcomed. The view from the lanai did not disappoint and the condo was large enough for our party. When we arrived, I texted the owner as he had said that was the best way to contact him, because we could not find beach towels, bedding for the porta crib, and there was only one beach chair. Also there was no stroller. There were 5 boogie boards, 3 pool noodles and 3 woven mats. We did find the towels, they were decoratively folded up on the beds. The owner did not answer.We noticed the refrigerator was taking a long time to cool to the correct temperature, and by Christmas Eve, it was warm. I called the number provided by the owner for mechanical problems and since he hadn’t responded to the text, I messaged him through vrbo to let him know about the refrigerator and that we were calling the number for repair. They never answered and we got a full voice mail all 4 times we called. The owner

We live in Hawaii, but needed a Hawaiian vacation after my husband got back from overseas. Your property was perfect for our whole family. The beds were comfortable and the decor created a relaxing place to just sit and relax. At the same time, our 4 kids loved playing soccer on the grass, watched a family of spotted eagle rays swim right there up to the shore, and went swimming with the turtles and snorkeling up the road at Napili. Our last day we had a view of the most beautiful and expansive rainbow over Molokai. Our vacation was magical. Thank you. We definitely will recommend your condo to our friends and family wanting to go to Maui.

Good, but…

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We came with a large group and overall we rented 4 units in the complex. This unit is very spacious and you can’t complain about being literally 20 feet from the ocean. The lanai is wonderful and the overall set up of the unit is very good. However, you need to come to the place with the understanding that the accommodations aren’t going to be confused for the Ritz. When we arrived, everything was clean and the couches and beds very comfortable. However, there seems to be minimal effort to keep maintenance up. Tiles were cracked, screen doors didn’t close, there was exactly one kitchen towel for us to use, etc. We aren’t a high maintenance family so these things didn’t bother us, but I can certainly see them bothering other families. A little more effort by the management company would raise the enjoyment of the place exponentially. The ocean access is great, bring snorkel gear as my kids saw turtles every day. The location is great as Maui Brewing and some other stores are walkable. Overall this unit is a wonderful unit and the small complex and pool are very nice, just go into it with eyes wide open.

Great Location - Horrible Customer Service

Stay here if you can be completely self sufficient. Don't rely on any of the amenities or perks provided by the host. Not enough dish soap or detergent. Only enough coffee for one day. Showers have low flow and mystery cracks that are probably causing more damage. Cracked tiles and uneven floors. Unsealed grout throughout - particularly the kitchen counters. GROSS! The list goes on. The inside needs a full refresh. When I asked about the missing stroller that was listed on the description the host responded with "cancel the remainder of your stay and move somewhere else". Get a proper map for directions before you arrive. The directions given were unclear. Two different pool access codes listed. Great view of the ocean and the HOA/Strata amenities are awesome. Parking, Pool, beach access.

Good value

Most of the prior comments are accurate. We would have given 5 stars as this property is accurately advertised and fairly priced. However, there were a few issues when we arrived that we wanted to have addressed right away. We left a message for the management company immediately after arriving and again around 1pm the second day. We also texted the owner (he responded fairly quickly) who said he would get in touch with them, but advised they were short-staffed. We stayed 6 nights and never heard back from either the management company or the owner. Luckily we were able to work around the problems, but it made our stay less convenient. I understand that labor shortages are a real problem, but that is no excuse for completely ignoring us for 6 days. Pros - amazing views, comfortable beds, price, good set up for children (this could be a con for childless travelers like us - there were a ton of kids in the pool when we arrived) Cons - too much stuff stored on lanai, no way to get help with issues on property, guests in nearby unit were partying way past 10pm quiet hour and with the old windows it was very hard to sleep, screen doors on lanai in bad shape and won’t stay on track, two bathrooms had no place to hang wet towels (one had a towel bar that just needed to be rehung but we didn’t have an allen wrench) bathroom lights turned off intermittently and wouldn’t turn back on, we were unable to reset the safe so had to carry valuables with us

Great unit with wonderful proximity to lots of activities

Our family of 6 (age range from 17-53) had a fabulous time at this Condo. There was plenty of room for 6 adults to find quiet space as well as room to enjoy family time together. The pictures make it appear a bit smaller than it actually is so we were very pleased. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans which was nice because we cooked in alot. The quiet strip of beach and sandy ocean access was a plus as was the grassy area in front of the condo for throwing the football and frisbee. We enjoyed being so close to many of the nice beaches and areas of interest. We really liked exploring the north side of West Maui. We did have rain every afternoon but it just freshened the air and provided a beautiful rainbow every afternoon. It didn't stop us from doing anything. The 3 bathrooms was a big help with 6 adults and everyone had a bed to sleep in (the air bed was really comfortable). The house amenities were numerous and readily used down to the sand toys for our family sand castle. We enjoyed being close enough to the activity of Kaanapali and Lahaina but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Randy was very helpful from the moment we made our reservations and throughout our stay. We will definitely come back in the future. We really enjoyed exploring the area. Honolua Bay first thing in the morning was spectacular, we saw turtles, an octopus, tons of fish and we were the only ones there. Nakalele Blowhole was awesome. The hiking along the ocean is rugged but really fun for an older group. Go at high tide for the best show but be careful not to get knocked off the rocks by the unexpected waves that crash over the top. Black rock was fun for jumping and the snorkeling was good. The boat ride to Molokini Crater and Turtle Town was good and the water was very clear out there, but sooooo many people. Haleakala for sunrise was fantastic as it was during the meteor shower so we had a great show before sunrise. All in all it was a great trip and Randy's book of things to do was very helpful to get us started. We would also recommend the book "Maui Revealed" for those that like to explore as it has great directions and some fun different things to do. We would totally recommend this unit to our friends.

As our family grew, we found Hawaii to be the perfect place to go - all the amenities of home (and then some), in the backdrop of one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world. We just couldn't get enough of Maui and the ocean.
