Weekend Stay at the Cottages

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean upon arrival and easy to find. Benchmark is over the top with communication. I found the notebook in the house very helpful. My only complaint is there are no curtains in the bedrooms making it very hard to fall asleep and stay asleep. The master bedroom and bunk rooms both have windows that face the pool where bright lights are left on all night. Other than not sleeping at all, the house served our needs for two nights.

The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook and grill. We loved the pool and beach access. We went over Memorial Day weekend, but where we were didn’t feel crowded at all. We made such wonderful memories. Benchmark Management was wonderful to work with. They reached out to us throughout the week to check on us. We definitely plan to return, and highly recommend staying at Beach Therapy!

Great little cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an extended stay of 4 weeks in Feb, and we just love this complex. It's perfect for a couple, and perhaps a guest or two - a couple kids would be just fine - but not much more. The living room was very comfortable, but it's not large. Master bedroom king sized bed was very comfortable. A couple beach chairs would be a great addition. The cottage has lots of hooks to hang jackets and towels which is greatly appreciated. We had a quick response from a Benchmark when the icemaker quit working - even on a Saturday. The tv had a few issues which we think had to do with the router. Some instructions on how to reboot the router would also be a nice addition to the property instructions. Overall, we just truly enjoyed our cottage by the pool and had everything we wanted. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The SMALL dog friendly house was cute and seemed to be in a good location. Beds were comfortable. Chairs in front of living room tv were not comfortable. Had an issue with plumbing, the whole house stopped up on Friday after Thanksgiving. We called Benchmarks office over 5 times from 4:30pm to 8:30pm trying to get them to call a plumber. We could not use the toilets. Finally we convinced the lady at benchmark that this was not just a stopped up toilet but the sewer line was stopped up. A plumber finally was called at 9:30 and he arrived at 10:15pm and was there until 12:30am. It seems benchmark does not mage their properties too well anymore. Last three places we have rented have had some kind of plumbing/water problems. Other than that night it was ok.

Reviewer Comments: Beach Therapy is a great unit that is convenient to the pool, which was perfect for our kids. The grill was great for nightly cooking and the kitchen is well stocked. The bunk beds were amazingly comfortable. The only suggestions we have are: the living area is cramped with furnishings,and the sofa is uncomfortable/stained and needs replacing. The master bedroom needs either a new, more sturdy bed frame or the current one needs tightened, as each time my husband moved in the night, it made loud noises. Thank you for having the beach wagon and all the beach/pool toys. That was a great hit for our kids. All in all, a great stay.

Perfect set up for kids

The grill is right next to the pool as well which made for easy lunches. Walk to the beach was about 4 minutes and easy to do. Our only complaint was how the kitchen wasn’t very stocked and the Wi-Fi would sporadically stop working. Besides that it was the perfect space and nicely decorated!

We loved having the pool right outside our back door and the beach across the street. But we were very disappointed that they did not provide any beach towels or pool towels and we had to go to the store and buy them for ourselves or let you know and they didn’t let us know ahead of time. I called the management company and they said they never provide them. I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and if you have a pool on the beach, they always provide beach towels. This policy needs to be changed.

The home was nice, but the cleaning crew wasn’t the best one of the toilets still had pee stains under the seat from the previous guests and the floor upon arrival was not cleaned well. The property management company also left much to be desired. I emailed them twice before arrival to ask questions about the property and did not get a response to either email. One time I called them and the woman I spoke with was not nice. While we won’t be back the property itself was great and in a nice location!

Girls Trip - May 2023

We had an amazing time in 30A! The pool was steps away from our back porch and the beach was just a short walk away. The cottage came with a wagon that made hauling our cooler and bags to the beach easy. The beach was beautiful and not busy at all. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Our only complaint was that the dinning room chairs could use some cushions, they were not comfortable to sit in.

Upon arrival, the house was ready for us right at 4:00, and was immaculately clean. We quickly settled in and made our way to the PRIVATE beach, which is an easy +/- 4 minute walk!! Our son enjoyed the pool (a little too cold for us parents), and our dog enjoyed long afternoons on the porch laying under the fan.The kitchen had everything we needed to make us feel right at home.We've already booked our return trip and can't wait to get back to the gorgeous 30A!!

Love the cottages!

Perfect vacation

This house and area was just what we needed for our retreat. We were close to everything, witnessed the sunrise on the beach each day and relaxed each night at the beautiful cottage. Will definitely come back!

Fabulous Family Vacay!

We travelled with 3 kids and our dog and we all had a blast! The beach access is very close to the community, making the daily trek easy and the location to Rosemary Beach and The Chill made for fun bike rides. This cottage is the perfect size to relax and reconnect, while having all the amenities you would need to enjoy a meal "in" after a long day at the beach and pool. Can't wait to return soon!

Beautiful Vacation Rental

We were very pleased with our stay! It was just like the pictures showed and we loved the location. The pool is right outside and the beach is about a 5 minute walk. We love that area and will be back! Thank you for helping us make such great memories.
