Ein Eck-Penthouse mit riesiger Dachterrasse, die den ganzen Tag Sonne bekommt. 2 Schlafzimmer verfügen über ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und ein Zweibettzimmer mit separatem Bad. Beide Schlafzimmer haben Verdunklungsläden für eine gute Nachtruhe! Neben den Dachterrassen gibt es zwei weitere große Terrassen. Die Hauptterrasse, die von der Lounge führt, verfügt über einen Gasgrill, einen Esstisch und einen Sonnenschirm für Mahlzeiten im Freien. Die dritte, große Terrasse befindet sich neben dem Doppelzimmer und bietet Sonne am Morgen, aber Schatten während der Hitze des Tages. Diese Terrasse verwandelt sich auch in einen gemütlichen Bereich für abendliche Getränke. Alle Terrassen haben einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer, die Berge und den Golfplatz. Kostenlose Klimaanlage ist in den wichtigsten Wohnbereichen und beiden Schlafzimmern zusammen mit Deckenventilatoren zur Verfügung gestellt. Kostenloses WLAN ist im gesamten Haus verfügbar. Es gibt einen großen Breitbild-TV in der Lounge mit Zugang zu den meisten britischen TV-Kanälen. Die moderne Küche bietet Blick auf den Wohnbereich und verfügt über eine Spülmaschine, eine Waschmaschine, eine Mikrowelle, einen Backofen / Herd und einen großen Kühlschrank / Gefrierschrank im amerikanischen Stil. Das Penthouse selbst befindet sich in einem sehr sicheren Komplex mit Gated & 24 Stunden bemannte Sicherheit. Der Komplex umfasst einen sehr großen Poolbereich mit einer angenehmen Rasenfläche zum Sonnenbaden in der Nähe des Penthouses. Der Pool-Komplex ist von Mittag bis 20 Uhr vom 1. Juni bis 30. September verfügbar. Es gibt einen Padel-Tennisplatz für die Nutzung der Gäste und Schläger und Bälle sind in der Wohnung zur Verfügung gestellt. Das schöne und beliebte Dorf La Cala ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Komplex entfernt. In fußläufiger Entfernung befinden sich vielleicht 50 Restaurants aller Art, zahlreiche Bars und ein riesiger, traumhafter Strand mit goldenem Sand, Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirmen. In den Sommerferien sind begrenzte Wassersportarten verfügbar. Das Penthouse profitiert davon, auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf das Dorf zu sein. Obwohl es den Hügel hinauf geht, empfiehlt es sich, eines der zahlreichen Taxis im Dorf zu nehmen, die nur 6 Euro kosten (4,50 £) .

Bel appartement tout confort et avec de belles terrasses
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. L'appartement est bien équipé et confortable. Il est spacieux pour 4 personnes et les différentes terrasses permettent de profiter du soleil ou de l'ombre. La vue est magnifique. Il faisait cependant frais le soir dans l'appart au mois de février et nous avons allumé les radiateurs dans les chambres mais il n'y en a pas dans le salon. Nous avons apprécié de regarder un DVD le soir, de jouer au padel juste à côté de l'appartement et de faire les courses au supermarché Lidl à 5 min en voiture. Nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver l'entrée du complexe le 1er jour car la personne de contact ne s'y trouvait pas.

Great holiday , great apartment.
We had a great holiday in Cala de Mijas. The apartment was perfect for us, 4 adults. It was spacious clean and very well equipped, there is plenary of outside space and with fabulous views. We didn’t hire a car, and managed the work into town to eat out , a couple of times a day. The owner was very quick to respond to questions, and was able to recommend a reliable taxi firm for our transfers. We were a subtle apprehensive about the effect Covid restrictions might have on our holiday, but we need not have worried. Restrictions around the pool worked well, with a one way System and socially distance sunbathing areas. In the town , restaurants and bars were reasonably busy with good atmosphere. Wearing masks , was a small price to pay for an excellent holiday.

Fantastic!!
This is a superb place to stay in a really nice gated community, a short walk to the centre of la cala. Loads of positives and the recent renovation to the huge en suite was very impressive, particularly the amazing rain shower. Everything you need and really is a home from home experience with the inside space and bedrooms all good sizes. The outside space is also worth mentioning with three separate terraces all with lovely views of the mountains and the sea. It was great opening the shutters on the morning, seeing brilliant sunshine and fantastic mountains in the background. All the way through Phil was really quick with replies to any questions we had and supporting us through the uncertain times of whether we would be able to go if the flights were cancelled due to the Covid crisis. We had a slight mishap with the keys to the front door on the way out one night (our fault) and it was resolved by the contact you have within a couple of hours with them telling us to go out and enjoy our night and they would sort it all out while we were out. A downhill walk to the centre of la cala and the beach is approx 10 to 15 mins passing lidl on the way. You don't need a car unless you want to venture further afield however we used an uber to get home on a night as its uphill and only 3.5 euros to get back from the centre of la cala. You can walk back, and we did a couple of times, but the uber was much easier. The pool area was really nice and majority of the time very quiet. Paddle tennis court is right next to the house and we enjoyed some great times playing as a family with everything you need included, bats in the property. Also other games such as connect 4 and battleships as well as plenty of books and dvds to use. We found the wifi had better speeds than we have at home and we have fibre broadband at home. This was seen as a major plus to my 12 and 15 year old sons. We would definitely stay again and no hesitation in giving 5 stars and highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Great Half term holiday
Warm enough for a swim in the sea and a suntan. Whilst pool in complex was closed, everything else in area was open. We discovered excellent Quad bike safari in area, beautiful scenery, followed by a trip to Mijas in the hills.

Fantastic holiday apartment
We just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at the apartment. It was as fantastic as we hoped and booked again. The place was spotless and we were greeted by the local support who explained how it all worked. The pool area was excellent. We knew the immediate local area well and went to the town and beach everyday by car. In the evenings we either ate at home or the local restaurants. The views from the terraces were lovely and it was worth driving a few minutes each day.

Great apt with fantastic views
Stayed for over two weeks had a brilliant time, we would stay here again and definitely recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying here! The apartment was clean, it had everything you need and the views are fantastic over looking La Cala, the golf course and the sea. We hired a car this time and were so pleased we did we visited places like El Chorro (the lakes as they are known apparently) which was brilliant and as well as Malaga, Gibraltar, Marbella! La Cala is a lovely place and we found The Times pub a really nice place to have a pint and play cards and enjoy the Sunday night quiz! Just down the road from the apartment is a Lidl supermarket and a Aldi a few minutes away which can be seen from the apartment! Like a home from home and a large fridge freezer for your beers and drinks etc. The only downside is that The WiFi was slow at times but this was no big deal to us. The sun terrace was just the right size with four sun loungers and two parasols. All in all was a great holiday, great apartment with no problems

Spacious, clean townhouse with fabulous views
We had a fantastic week in La Cala. The property was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and had everything you could possibly need. I cannot think of a single negative. We used all 3 terraces every day and the views were wonderful from each one. It takes around 10 minutes to walk downhill to the beach and another 5 minutes to the centre of the village. We used the brilliant boardwalk to walk to Calahonda everyday. The walk back up the hill to the house could be a challenge for some but we found it ok. We absolutely loved the house and La Cala. We would definitely return to both.

Modern and well equipped three floor apartment
Very comfortable bedrooms with shutters which can make them as dark as you like. The patio which led from the master bedroom was ideal for sun worshipers and also had a shaded area for those who prefer that. Superb views from all 3 floors. Good rooftop sun terrace. We made good use of the BBQ and there are plenty of television channels to choose from. It's gated complex and the apartment has deadbolts on door and a safe which made it feel very secure. A good cooker, lots of hot water and a big fridge/freezer made the small kitchen enough to satisfy 4 adults for breakfast, barbecues and snacks. We didn't hear any noise at night time. It is a bit of a trek uphill from the nearest supermarket and, obviously, from the beach or the main restaurant/bar area but we knew that before we went and had been advised to make use of the taxis. The pool wasn't open when we were there which was a pity as it was so hot and the pool area, which was right opposite the apartment looked lovely. La Cala is a lovely little town with a good beach and many restaurants. We would recommend Biddy Mulligans and El Gusto, completely different type of places but both very good. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends or family.

Great location, well appointed, very comfortable for two couples
The property is on the hill above Mijas, with great views of the sea and the mountains. It is easy to get to the beach, shopping is nearby and it is easy to make a day trip (bus and train) to Málaga.

10 amazing days
Just arrived back from this lovely townhouse situated quite high up on the outskirts of La Cala. I have stayed in the area many times over the years but the first time in La Cala itself. The Townhouse is set on 2 living floors and a roof terrace. On the ground floor is a really well equipped kitchen with Bosch appliances, a large WC and a nice sized lounge with comfortable leather sofas and a large flat screen TV. There is also a table that will seat 4 easily. There are doors to a lovely balcony with superb views over the Mountains, La Cala and the sea, A dining table and 6 chairs make this a great Al Fresco space, there is also a large gas barbecue and a big parasol. There are steps from here leading to a large roof terrace with 4 sun beds and this really is a great pace to sunbathe as it gets the sun all day. Downstairs are the 2 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms, the smaller bedroom has 2 single beds and lots of wardrobe space, the main bedroom with en-suite has a large bed, again lots of wardrobe space (lots of hangers too!) and doors leading out to a lovely balcony with similar views as above and a great seating area where we spent a lot of time. The Pool is situated very close by and is large and very peaceful. Even though we went in school holiday time it was very very quiet there and it didn't feel like we were there during peak holiday time. The urbanisation is set on a steep road, hence the stunning views and as has been said, the walk down to La Cala is easy, the walk back!!!!!! Phew! We actually drove down to the bottom of the hill and parked in a small free carpark next to Lidl's and walked into town and then just used the car to get back up the hill. Worked really well for us. La Cala is a beautiful small town with a great beach, narrow streets and plenty of places to eat and drink. We purposefully avoid anything British and although plenty of Brits use the area it is still very much a Spanish residency and all the better for it. If you want the British experience there is an Irish bar and restaurant next to a place called El Gusto which seemed very popular with Brits but the rest is very Spanish and there is a superb selection of Tapas and traditional Spanish restaurants. Our favourites are Tikus, Boca Arte both Tapas bars and Los Porches which is just to the right of the BP garage and is just fantastic. Would we return? Absolutely, back in June next year hopefully. Well equipped property, fantastic views.
Stayed here in July 2017 with my husband and two sons. Excellent service from the owner and his property managers Wendy and Sammy from initial booking, arrival procedure, support during our stay to our departure. Phil the owner has taken time to ensure you have everything you need. Kitchen clean andwell equipped . Two bathrooms on the lower floor with the bedrooms, with an additional toilet adjacent to the living room. All patios had fantastic views of the golf course and sea. It is located in a secure gated community and is a short downhill walk to the nearest supermarket (Lidl). The resort itself is a further twenty minute walk. We used the car but I would suggest a taxi. Cala de mijas is a lovely resort with a beautiful beach and a good selection of restaurants. The apartment did have WiFi but it was slow at times . All main rooms have Aircon and ceiling fans. The main bed was a king-size but me and husband struggled as it was memory foam which we weren't used to. However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice Property and good Location

A beautiful property exactly as it says. We have visited La Cala several times but never stayed so we knew the exact location. The views are amazing and I was quite happy to just look around from the balconies. The property inside was very comfortable, we stayed with our son and his girlfriend 23/21 and we all had our privacy with having an en suite etc. Arrival was very smooth even though we arrived early! We unpacked then walked down town, as other reviews say it is a pleasant walk down. We did our shopping at the Mercadona ( as we know this supermarket) and they rang us a taxi whilst we was packing our groceries! A taxi varied from 4-6 euros back up, but definitely worth it. The restaurants and bars are fab in La Cala, and the beach is lovely,,,two beds and a parasol costing only €9. A fantastic holiday, would I recommend the apartment, yes defiantly, I already have! Lovely, affordable with a touch of class
Clean, spacious with all the things you need from home to home. Wendy and Sammy looked after us and made us feel safe, if needed anything. Having private access to the pool was perfect especially if you're not one for crowds! Overall, I would recommend this apartment.

Beautiful... with Spectacular views across the Med
We recently stayed at this beautiful Penthouse Apartment for two weeks in July..On arrival the owner had given us directions from Malaga Airport which were very clear and before we knew it, we had arrived at the apartment in no time and were met by the lovely Sammy who gave us our keys and showed us round. The apartment itself is laid out beautifully with all your home comforts for a wonderful holiday. As you enter the apartment the kitchen is on your right, overlooking the lounge area, which opens out onto a lovely patio ideal for al fresco dining, we had many a barbeque out there on an evening as the temperature is just lovely in the evening for sitting out with a glass of Sangria! The upper terrace was well used late in the afternoon to relax on the sunbeds after a day at the pool. The pool is just a short stroll from the apartment and is at the top of the private complex where there is a beautiful breeze and amazing 360 panoramic views across to the Sea and Mountains. Both bedrooms are a great size with plenty storage. The patio from the master bedroom was lovely to sit at after a meal out and kids were in bed. Having never been to Cala De Mijas itself we weren't sure what to expect, but this is a beautiful little town with plenty cafes, restaurants and bars. A real spanish feel and all the staff and locals were lovely and friendly. The beach at Cala De Mijas is lovely with sunbeds for hire for around 5 euros for the day! Stocking up for the Barbeque is easy as there is two supermarkets directly at the bottom of the hill for all your necessities. So many lovely places to visit around this area and would recommend a trip further inland to Benahavis or Mijas..We also enjoyed a trip to Puerto Banus to see all the famous yachts... Would highly recommend this property and hope to get booked up for our next trip to the beautiful Costa Del Sol..

Lovely spacious, modern & clean townhouse!
We stayed at this townhouse for 1 week in May 16, whilst in Spain for a family wedding. We knew the urbanisation well as friends have a townhouse a few doors along from Phil's. The house. is bright and airy and has a welcoming homely feel. Very well equipped from TV, Wifi, and fully equipped kitchen, not once did I look for a utensil and not find it! Gas BBQ was great and used on several occasions, as was all of the outdoor furniture. Plenty of comfortable patio furniture, sun loungers and parasols. With all day sun on the roof top terrace the parasols were a welcome source of shade at the warmest part of the day, where you can sit and enjoy the uninterrupted views of the ocean, hillside & surrounding golf course until the sun sets. The comfortable king size bed, air-con & ceiling fan also gave for a peaceful nights sleep. We Will certainly come back to this house, and was disappointed it was booked for our July visit to La Cala Mijas this year, so will plan ahead for next year!

Stunning views that are worth the climb!
Had a fantastic week's stay in this apartment in April 2016. On arrival the handover of keys etc was straightforward, meeting our contact at the Lidl at the bottom of the hill. Apartment was clean,tidy and once we got the shutters and doors opened we saw how bright and spacious it was. The property extends over 3 floors. Through the front door we had a well equipped kitchen and main living area with doors out onto a huge terrace, drenched in sunshine from morning till about 2.30pm. From this terrace there are stairs leading up to a huge roof terrace with uninterrupted views in all directions. Even in April the sun was out till around 7.30pm. The bedrooms are on the lower level, downstairs from the lounge. The master bedroom had loads of room and a very comfortable king size bed. And there were pati doors leading on to yet another large furninshed terrace. The second bedroom with the 2 single beds was a little darker but very adequate. Both bedrooms had loads of cupboard space and loads of coat hangers too! As well as the bedrooms there was a large bathroom and a separate shower room. All just fantastic. The large TV in the lounge had a great selection of channels including all of the main UK ones and the free wifi worked a treat throughout the apartment La Cala was a beautiful wee resort and was fairly busy even at this time of the year. A good selection of restaurants and bars and a fantastic recently built boardwalk that runs for almost 6km heading towards Marbella. Great for walking or running. From the main restaurant area it's about a 15 - 20 minute walk back to the apartment. It would be about 5 minutes less were it not for the steep hill at the end. This shouldn't be interpeted as a minus point as the views from the elevated position were among the best we'd ever had. But one climb a day up the hill was generally enough for us. When we were in the apartment it was so quiet and peaceful. Every so often you'd hear the sound of a golf shot from the nearby course (great views over the course which looked to be about 150 foot below us) but pretty much no other noise at all. I would thoroughly reccommend this apartment. And the hill can be avoided by taking a taxi back from the nearby buss, apparently about €6. We never succumbed to that ;-)

Fantastic property with superb views
Fortunate enough to have spent the last 7days in this fantastic property. Home from home and more, only 5 minutes walk from the vibrant resort of La Cala. Restaurants and bars are both affordable and great value for money, lovely child friendly beaches and all just a gentle stroll from the penthouse. The roof terrace was a superb sun trap and many hours were spent topping up our tan. All of this in the middle of April! We could not have received better service from the owners and would recommend this property to anyone interested in a holiday on the Costa del Sol.

We have spent several years searching for the right property and location on the Costa del Sol and are delighted with both the location and property. For a family of 4, this Penthouse provides everything we want from a holiday. Lots of places for sunbathing whether that be the roof terrace, pool complex or large sandy beach. Also a huge choice of restaurants and bars of all types within walking distance. Great views from all terraces. Many great golf courses nearby. A very short drive to the busier town of Fuengirola for partying and less than 20 minutes drive to Marbella itself for shopping and entertainment. The village itself is pretty and has everything you need. It is not loud or brash and has no nightclubs, disco bars or high rise hotels but does have a very good selection of bars/restaurants and also evening entertainment in some locations.
