Checked out a handful of different rooms over the years and keep coming back to room 420 mostly because of the bed is so comfortable. Appreciated the updated couch and recliner chair. This unit could use some updates, especially removing the carpet that is in the bedroom. No Ocean Front condo should have carpet especially a pet friendly room . All in all it has everything that anybody needs the kitchen is well stocked. Had family members staying at the condo at the same time so I was able to view a few of the other rooms that my relatives stayed in . Most were more updated more than this unit but my sister complained her bed was awful even though on looking at it looked great.This is not the most updated condo for being a gold star, but the bed is awesome. Give a big shout out for Karen. Who’s been working the fourth floor in the housekeeping department she takes great care of you. Everybody at the front desk was courteous and helpful. We live in Jacksonville, Florida and my sister lives in South Florida and we all agree. Crescent Beach is such an incredible beach when it’s low tide. It’s the most beautiful beach, hard sand that you can walk on . I would recommend bicycle riding which there’s a place down the street I believe A1A bicycles that you can rent and it’s so close to Saint Augustine. You can enjoy so many things. ore current looking than this but again the bed in those rooms were awful .

We have been staying here for a week's vacation for the last 3 years in this same room. Nice decor. Kitchen is well provided and stocked. Views are perfect. Only would wish for some type of blind or be able to lower the hurricane shutter a little as the morning sun, when sitting on balcony, is very, very hot and bright until sun is high enough to not be directly in your face. Otherwise, highly recommend.

We had to hand wash our dishes, but there was no dishpan and no stopper for the sink. All the knives were dull as well as the peeler. In addition, the tub was very slippery and a fall hazard. The tv was crummy and very difficult to operate. There was a dvd player but it had no batteries in it. The staff was very helpful. We would come back to Beachers Lodge but not #420.

The oven was questonable and the bed felt like a rock with sheets.Just being honest.

July 4th Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Beacher's Lodge because it sits right on Crescent Beach and some of the units (ours was 420) are dog friendly. This was our second time in this unit. We really liked the new furniture in the living area. The unit is always clean. The bed is very comfy and there is plenty of closet and dresser space. Love the ocean views from the patio. Evenings are usually peaceful and dark (turtles nesting) with the only sounds coming from the waves breaking on the beach, but this was July 4th and even though fireworks are prohibited on the beach, apparently that is only a suggestion. Would be nice to have a baking sheet or two for the oven. And the cabinet door below the sink was missing, exposing the plumbing. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will be back soon and will definitely book Unit 420 again!

Reviewer Comments: it was ok kitchen cabinet broke under sink. safe broke spoke with someone they came up and fixed the safe and took the cabinet door that was broke when the did that the door to the condo trim broke that held the door at the top they never came back to fix it that happen the first day we were there also there is no screen on the sliding door so if you left it open bugs got in and there were ants for a gold room it should not have been rated that. We have stay in this room for 10 years we have never seen it in that condition.

I would have preferred the other place due to style and decor, but the unit we were moved to was cute, just not as updated. Overall it was fine. Only complaint was the elevator was broken when we arrived. Turns out, they allowed the cleaning crew to use the elevators but not us, which was a bummer. I would have preferred they allow us to utilize the elevator I stead of carrying luggage for two up four flights. Overall, good experience.
