Clipper Cove ist ein neues, luxuriöses, mit 5 Sternen und Gold ausgezeichnetes Strandhotel mit atemberaubendem 180-Grad-Panoramablick auf das Meer in Praa Sands, einem wunderschönen Surfstrand an der Südküste. Wir bieten die Penthouse-Wohnung komplett ausgestattet und möbliert zu einem sehr hohen Standard mit Eiche und Leder. Mit 3 Schlafzimmern, 7 Schlafplätzen plus einem Kinderbett und 3 Badezimmern (2 en suite) ist es ideal für anspruchsvolle Familien. Es gibt einen sicheren Privatparkplatz für 2 Autos, eine Videotelefonanlage und einen Aufzug. Es ist 100 Meter vom schönen Sandstrand mit Restaurant, Bar, Geschäft und Café am Strand entfernt. Clipper Cove ist ideal für aktive Familien, die im Dorf surfen, Kajak fahren, tauchen, klettern, an der Küste spazieren, Vögel beobachten und Golf spielen möchten. Sie können das Auto also zumindest für eine Weile auf dem sicheren Parkplatz abstellen. Wenn Sie das Bedürfnis haben, etwas zu erkunden, ist Praa Sands von zentraler Bedeutung für die meisten der besten Orte in Cornwall (siehe Abschnitt Reisestrecken) mit der berühmten St. Michaelsberg und sein Damm bei Marazion nur 3 Meilen entfernt. Clean and good location

Had a short stay with my family, very good communication, we were very impressed by how well managed, clean and well decorated the apartment is! It is located in a great location in Penzance and a short drive away to many popular landmarks. I had walked past Praa Sands when doing the SW Coast Path and resolved to bring family for a weeks break. That beach is perfect for a 4 year old. There is plenty to do in the area, even if the weather doesn’t play ball. A very relaxing break.

Fabulous penthouse apartment

This beautiful penthouse apartment ticked all the boxes for our family holiday to Praa Sands. With spectacular sea views, it was comfortably appointed and generously provisioned with a breakfast hamper and a collection of local goodies on arrival. The attention to detail was second to none, and it felt like a home away from home for our two-week stay. A great base to explore western Cornwall and only a short drive to the remarkable St Michaels Mount. We hope to be back.

Fabulous

This was a birthday present and what a gift it was. The well turned out immaculate penthouse exceeded all expectations and the whole stay was amazing from start to finish. Everything we needed was taken care of and we felt the whole experience was fabulous. It even provided a spectacular view of the storm we had for two days where we could just sit and watch it develop over the sea. Good base for local walks and venturing on to the Lizard and over to St Ives. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

the property is fully equipped. The internet was a nightmare from day 1. we had to wait for the BT engineer on 2 occasions to let them in to the property to get it sorted. we arrived on the Sunday and it was eventually fixed on the Thursday.

A perfect beach holiday!

The Penthouse was the perfect accommodation for our beach holiday. Georgina and Tim are wonderful hosts answering any queries very quickly. Praa Sands is a lovely beach and the access down from the main road and parking at the apartment was very easy. When we arrived the apartment was immaculately clean and so well equipped. The view from the picture window is stunning. The beach is just moments away and the outdoor drying facilities at the flats for wet suits etc. are really useful. Great access to coastal paths. I would not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Family week in Cornwall

Just got back from a lovely week at this property. Communication before hand was great and cleanliness on arrival was excellent. The penthouse was a great size, larger than we thought from the photos. Quiet location, but within easy reach of any facilities you may need within about 15 minutes drive. 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Praa Sands. Also within easy reach of lots of places to visit, The Minack Theatre being one of our highlights. Gorgeous views from the penthouse, lovely to just sit and watch.

Perfect week at The Penthouse

We had a wonderful time at The Penthouse. Large and clean rooms with excellent equipment. Very nice living room with a beautiful view of the sea and it is a short distance to the beach. Each of our 2 older children had a room of their own. 5 days before our arrival Georgina contacted us and sent us information about the accommodation. On our arrival on Sunday evening a basket with newspaper, bread, jam, cookies and milk, butter in the refrigerator awaited us. Perfect! We felt very comfortable.

Having had a family holiday home in Marazion, Georgina has longed for a property in this area. From the first viewing, Clipper Cove was an ideal property. This is our second holiday property and with Georgina's many years experience with interior decoration our large house in the South of France was featured in "25 Beautiful Homes" magazine, appearing on the cover of the May, 2014 issue. See Property Ref 8076549.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We saw the Penthouse and thought the position (right by the sea) was fabulous, when we viewed it we knew that this apartment would give guests the most wonderful holiday. The views are so special and the beach is just outside the door across the green. I love Praa Sands because it is unspoiled and quiet, you can be the only person on the beach on a stunningly sunny day in spring, and what a tonic that is! Peace and quiet. Praa Sands is easy to get to by train or road and Newquay Airport is only 45 minutes away by car. I am so proud to be able to offer first class accommodation in our lovely part the world, and the thank you emails and letters I have received confirm I made the right choice.

The great thing about Praa Sands, is it is easy to visit some of the most fabulous venues. St Michaels Mount and Marazion (wild bird sanctuary) St Ives, Porthleven, Minack Theatre, Lands End, Falmouth are all close by.
Praa Sands Golf Club is walking distance, and the Cornish coastal footpath is on the doorstep. We are surrounded by National Trust Gardens and properties, the latest acquisition Godolphine House, being 10 minutes away by car. I must mention the weather, somehow we seem to get the best of it at Praa Sands, the Penthouse is sheltered in most wind directions and sitting looking out through the Juliet balcony doors on most days feels really warm, a true suntrap, lovely. Also we benefit from the underfloor geothermal heating which keeps the Penthouse toasty in the winter.
