Located on a golf course this property has 4 bedrooms 2 baths, Jacuzzi, living room, dining room, family room, office, kitchen and dinette. Beautiful backyard with large deck facing the pool and spa with several large oak trees. High ceilings throughout with large windows and beautifully furnished, this 2300 sq ft single family home has charm and an open, yet cozy feel to it. The house is located in the center of McKinney 1/2 hour north of Dallas. Near major freeways, it has all types of entertainment with good restaurants nearby. The downtown historical square attracts people from all over Texas.

Nice, quiet area - basic accommodations

Roger is a kind and responsive host. House has large master BR and good floor plan. Owner lives here part-time, so there are a lot of personal items. Cleaning and maintenance are "ok", but not "white-glove" level, as many other VRBO homes are.

Great location

This is an older home in a great safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Great for walking. The house is showing some age but everything worked. Kitchen was well equipped. Based on another guest’s recommendations we brought an extra blanket and throw and we are glad we did. One concern we did have in the “House Rules”, is the expectation that we clean the bathrooms and kitchen for the next guests, in spite of the fact we paid a cleaning fee in advance. I would hope that those areas would always be professionally cleaned and sanitized for each guest. The host was accessible and accommodating. It’s a great place for summer guests with the large pool and beautiful deck.

Amazing Location

Beautiful, shady pool for us sun-deprived Canadians. Spacious, clean, well equipped home in an absolutely beautiful (and close to amenities) home. Roger is wonderful to work with.

Nice home! Great area.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Did not realize that the pool would not be open, but no big deal as we stayed plenty busy anyways. Best stocked house we have ever stayed in! Comfy beds and cozy towels too. Would recommend for a family!

Peaceful respite

We enjoyed the outdoor deck with pool and view of golf course. Very nice neighborhood to stay while visiting family close by. The host was very responsive to any questions that arose during our visit.

Perfect house for our McKinney stay

Perfect place for us to stay when we are in town visiting family. Only a mile away from family/everything. House was very lovely and bonus has a pool. We weren’t able to us pool as we were busy with family stuff but everything in this house was great.

Wonderful stay

We had the pleasure of staying in Roger’s beautiful home for one week. The interior is open and inviting and contains everything anyone could possibly need. The backyard has a clean pool and a heated spa nestled under the overarching trees. We lounged on the expansive deck and enjoyed the quiet evenings.

I loved this house! My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house had such a great vibe. We loved the pool and swam almost everyday during our visit. Roger was wonderful! He was available with any questions I had about house rules or property.

Relaxing

Roger (Owner) Made sure that we had everything we needed and opened the pool up early for us to make it an even better stay. The bookshelves were full of good books, and games. This was a relaxing trip which is what we needed for our stay in Mckinney.

This is a beautiful home with plenty of amenities and a beautiful backyard view of the golf course. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The pool was an added luxury during the 100 degree weather we had during my recent stay

I am an older guy, former Navy carrier pilot, graduated from the University of California with many years in the electronics industry and now retired.. My wife died a few years ago and I am renting our house while I live nearby.

Aside from the description of the property, (see separately) I have maintained this house in excellent condition over the years with upgrades and diligent maintenance. It is deep cleaned between rentals with special attention to enhanced cleaning protocols.. You will find that it is fully equipped and a place to relax and have fun. I am a good communicator and am available whenever needed.
