Unser Ferienhaus ist sehr privat, friedlich und komfortabel! Es liegt nördlich von Brainerd am Markee Lake und nur 16 km von den Seen Nisswa, Crosslake und Pequot entfernt. Ein großartiger Ort für einen Kurzurlaub für Paare, Freundinnen oder jedermann! Spaß beim Einkaufen, Golfen und Radfahren in der Nähe.
Seen zu beiden Seiten der Hütte und Seetaucher, die Sie nachts zum Schlafen einlullen. Schlafmöglichkeiten für 4 Personen, maximal 4 Personen pro Aufenthalt. Genießen Sie die Beobachtung vieler wild lebender Tiere wie Biber, Adler, Hirsche, Enten, Schildkröten, Seetaucher und vieles mehr. Toller Rückzugsort für Sommer oder Herbst. Zu den Annehmlichkeiten gehören ein Gasgrill, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster und Mixer. Perfect retreat in nature

The cabin is exactly as pictured — cozy and perfectly appointed. Sandy was BEYOND responsive to my questions! Every night I would open all the windows and listen to the sounds of nature, including owls and loons. Sitting in front of the “nature lake” and appreciating the swans … having the blue heron fly immediately behind me, so close I could hear its wings … sitting on the dock overlooking the lake … it was truly a magical visit. Highly recommend.

The property was all about norther Minnesota's forest and lake beauty. I came to a gracious and warm welcome. Sandy answered all my questions and gave me a clear tour. Everything I wanted/needed was here! The quiet, the stars, the lake breeze, the comfort and style of this place immediately made me feel welcome and at home. I want to return! I will need it!

Long weekend getaway

Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed the birds, seeing the work of the beavers, took the canoe out. Read books sitting on the dock. The lake is small, private and quiet. No loud jet skis and speed boats disrupting your peace and quiet. We watched two DVDs they had on site one night. What a special treat that was. We didn't cook much but the kitchen seemed well stocked. Well stocked bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of seating options in the living room. The chairs on the deck are comfortable to sit on also. Such a close drive to the busier towns of Brainerd, Nisswa and Breezy Point. Perfect for day trips for shopping and dining. The cottage has a lake on both sides. Fire pits on both sides. Private driveway. The owners live next door. It was absolutely everything we hoped it would be and we will recommend it to friends and family. What a slice of heaven.

Cozy Pine Cone Cottage

The property was very clean and beautifully decorated; such attention to detail. The owner, Sandy, was so welcoming and sweet. Despite the rain, we had a great fall getaway to recharge and refresh. The small little towns surrounding the Merrifield/Brainard area were so fun to explore and enjoy local art and delicacies. A wonderful trip in a wonderful space!

30th Anniversary get-away

Very nice cottage. Bed was nice and comfortable. Enjoyed the lake...kayaking,canoeing, paddle boat and fishing. Also recommend the Mission Tavern which is close by for pizza and bacon cheeseburgers.

Perfect late summer get away!

Pine Cone Cottage was the perfect stay for a late summer get away! Everything met all of my expectations and more. Sandy was a wonderful host and made things so easy from check in to check out...and the cottage is beautiful. Loved the lake and spending the day in Nisswa. Great seafood boil at B Merri's in Brainerd. Definitely looking forward to coming back again!.

What a beautiful property—secluded, private, fully stocked and charmingly furnished. Plenty of critters to observe, including a beaver. We were sorry to leave after a week, could have done a month.

Peaceful Stress Relief

Perfect lodging for us. Furnishings were as described and very comfortable. Nature setting. We saw beaver, trumpeter swans, loons, and ducks. Fished when we felt like it. Sandy was an excellent host. We will be back.

Very peaceful

We really enjoyed the quiet & the view. We saw so many birds & there's a local beaver that comes by along the shoreline a couple times a day! We even got to watch the Perseid meteor shower from the dock.

Nice Location, Comfortable Cottage

Small, but cozy cottage in a quiet town. There are not many properties around, so there is plenty of privacy. Sandy takes great care of the cottage. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The fishing was good. We caught some nice 4+ pound bass on topwater lures in the lily pads. We saw lots of wildlife, including loons, red squirrels, deer, bald eagles, and a beaver! Overall a great getaway. We will be back!

Nice cottage

The Pine Cone Cottage is a private, comfortable cabin with complete kitchen and large living room. Great views from the living room with frequent loon sightings. The owner, Sandy is great to work with. If you're looking for a nice one bedroom cottage on a small lake this is the place.

We're planning our next visit here!!!

The cabin was lovely, private, and very comfortable. We didnt find a thing we felt was missing. The lake was small but loaded with fish. There was a beaver family living close that we watched from the deck. We built a campfire in a wonderful stone fire ring and listened to the loons under the stars. The host was the best; available, kind, and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our visit.

Quiet and Relaxing

We stayed for the week following the Labor Day weekend. Were looking to get away and relax and this place hit the spot. Cabin between two quiet lakes. Easy drives into Nisswa, Brainerd and Pequot Lakes for dining and window shopping.

Another great stay!

This was the second year my husband and I spent a week at Sandy's cabin. We had a relaxing stay. My husband fished both from the dock and rental boat Sandy has available. Sandy is a great host and always quickly responds to questions and gives great suggestions. The cabin is well supplied and always clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Another Awesome anniversary get away.

This cabin and property are very nice and clean. All kinds of wild life. We take our boat and spend time fishing on the lake and also right off the dock. Sandy the owner is AMAZING! If she see's you outside she will ask if you need anything or if there is anything she can do for you. My wife and I love her and will be going back again and again. Thanks again Sandy!

My husband and I grew up in the Brainerd Lakes area and lived in a couple of different places in the state for 22 years. In 1997 we were able to move back and enjoy once again living in our hometown. We purchased the cabin in 2004 from Tim's folks, as we live next door to the property. We proceeded to remodel it to our liking and then decided we needed to rent it out and share the beauty of our property and area with others during the summer and fall months. We have really enjoyed getting to meet various people and have made some new friends from this experience. I would love to meet you as well! -Sandy

The unique benefits of our property is that it is situated between 2 lakes and you have access and views to both of them. Also the privacy and peace and quiet is hard to find elsewhere unless you are situated in a really remote area. We are within 10 miles to fun little towns like Nisswa, Crosslake and Pequot Lakes.
