Einfacher Zugang zu den historischen Straßenbahnlinien Saint Charles (4 Blocks). Minuten von Magazine Restaurants und Boutiquen (1 Block). Ausgezeichnete Mardi Gras Lage (1 Block von allen Uptown Parades). Parkplatz abseits der Straße. Ich bin wahrscheinlich voreingenommen, aber Uptown ist die beste Nachbarschaft in NOLA. Sie werden mit der Lage nicht enttäuscht sein.

Minuten vom Magazin und St. Charles St. Restaurants und Boutiquen. New Orleans-Legende Casamento's und moderner Favorit Superior Seafood sowie exzellenter Kaffee im Hey Cafe und ein kurzer Spaziergang zu vielen weiteren Optionen. Der Rouse's Market ist nur ein paar Blocks entfernt und sehr zu empfehlen, wenn Sie den Kühlschrank mit Lebensmitteln und Getränken füllen möchten.

Bougie Uptown Shotgun

Shotgun home was in a nice location on close to Magazine Street, so close to restaurants and activities. Host was very responsive and friendly, and the few minor issues were addressed immediately. Unit was spacious and perfect for our visit.

Great location, but property left much to be desired

Great communication with owner, was able to drop bags off early. But when we got there at check in time, there was still a handyman working on the toilet plumbing and AC requiring that he come in and out of the unit - very uncomfortable as 2 women traveling with 4 children. I was also approached by 2 neighbors informing me that this property was not legally allowed to be used as a VRBO. There was also only 1 roll of toilet paper and only 4 bath towels for the 6 of us for 2 nights. The door knob kept falling off the bathroom door which would lock the person inside. All of the other doors were heavily painted and would either not close or get stuck shut. The walls were also very thin between the 2 units and our neighbors had a crying baby that sounded like it was in our unit. The location was great and the owner responsive, but was a rough experience.

Good location

We're 75 and I think that younger folks would enjoy staying here for Carnival season, etc. Lots of beds and great walkabouts.. The lack of handrails and the unevenness of the front steps makes coming in and out a challenge for me.

This is a wonderful location with beautiful church bells in the distance. Very clean house!

My family and I enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving in this cute kitchen and spending time in the spacious living room. It had a backyard grassy area and back deck. We will stay again!

Staying here provided a wonderful experience for my family & I. We enjoyed ourselves.

I would definitely stay here again. The location was an easy drive to the most popular destinations and the neighborhood was really friendly as well. Very convenient location, within walking distance of Tulane, Magazine Street shops and restaurants and easy access to the St. Charles streetcar. We had a great time with the exception on Friday night but only because our duplex neighbors were a bit loud late into the night, luck of the draw I guess.

Zu Gast bei Charles

I moved to New Orleans for work in 2012 and actually rented the house the start with. I ended up falling in love with the city, and the previous owners were kind enough to sell the house to me after having it in their family for over 70 years. After living primarily New Orleans for over 7 years, I decided to start spending time traveling, and catching up with family and friends who are scattered from South Carolina to Arizona. This platform has given me an opportunity to share this amazing location with others, as well as the flexibility to do the things that are important in life.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

While the house is nice and we've tried our best to make sure you'll have everything you'd need, the location is what really sets it apart. Prior to moving to New Orleans, I'd never really just been able to walk down the street to anything, unless I was going to a neighbors house. From this house, you can walk to 5 star restaurants or bars that are open for 24 hours. The St. Charles street car is just a few blocks up and you can head anywhere from Audubon Park to the middle of downtown. Unless you're looking to stay in the French Quarter, this is the very best location in all of New Orleans (Best block, Street, Neighbors, etc.)
