Eine einmalige Gelegenheit, ein wunderschön renoviertes viktorianisches Haus in der W Main Street in der Innenstadt von Franklin zu mieten. Das "Rhodes-House" befindet sich im National Register of Historic Places und 2 Blocks von allen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt! Spazieren Sie zum Charme!

Franklin gilt als die Kleinstadt Nummer eins in Tennessee und ist auch auf der Liste der besten Kleinstädte von Southern Living unter den Top 10 vertreten. Erleben Sie diese süße Gemeinschaft und die Gastfreundschaft des Südens, während Sie die Geschichte, die gehobenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Restaurants und die Live-Unterhaltung genießen ... alles nur einen Spaziergang die Main Street entlang ... mit Sweet CeCes Yogart und Starbucks als ersten beiden Stationen.

Dieses Haus ist ideal für einen romantischen Kurzurlaub, Städtereisen, ein Wochenende mit Freunden, eine Hochzeitsfeier oder einen Urlaub für die ganze Familie. Unser Haus wurde auch für Foto- und Videodrehs genutzt, also lassen Sie Ihrer Fantasie freien Lauf! Wenn Sie ein Fan von Brownland Farm sind, finden Sie uns auch in einem Umkreis von einigen Kilometern. Unser Zuhause ist auch auf jeder größeren Paradenroute, seien Sie also sicher und checken Sie bei Franklin-Festivals und -Paraden ein.

Das Haus verfügt über zwölf Fuß Decken, vier Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder mit über 2600 qm Wohnfläche und 4 Kamine. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie täglich benötigen. Sie verfügt über eine riesige Speisekammer und eine voll ausgestattete Waschküche.

Entspannen Sie sich am Ende des Tages auf der Terrasse im privaten Hinterhof oder genießen Sie die Leute, die auf der Schaukel der Veranda zuschauen. Das Haus verfügt über einen 50-Zoll-HD-Fernseher für Ihr Unterhaltungsvergnügen und eine einzigartige Sammlung von Schallplatten für Ihr Hörvergnügen.

Das Haus befindet sich auf einem seltenen und ebenen Doppelgrundstück und ist professionell angelegt. Es gibt eine Garage für 2 Autos und eine private Auffahrt auf der Rückseite mit zusätzlichen Parkplätzen auf der Vorderseite. Ein Weber-Gasgrill ist auch im Frühjahr, Sommer und Herbst erhältlich. Ein optionales aufblasbares Queensize-Bett bietet Platz für zwei weitere Gäste.

Quaint and Historic

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house is a historic property with so many interesting features. We loved the fact that it was walking distance to the town. Our hosts were very responsive :)

in Town for a Wedding

Because of all the events of the wedding, we weren't at the house a whole lot, but what time we were there was delightful. We were all very comfortable, even with only two bathrooms for 8 people. Plenty of hot water for showers. I wish we had been able to come one day earlier to enjoy the town of Franklin and the house. But the Wedding---oh, the wedding! It was beautiful!

Classic Home in Historic Franklin

This is a sprawling, single story home built in 1895 and located on Main street surrounded by lovely stately homes and within an easy walk to downtown Franklin. We enjoyed eating at McCreary's Irish pub; Gray's on Main and Pucketts. A 20 minute drive thru beautiful rolling fields leads you to the very small community of Leipers Fork, where you should go see live music at Fox & Locke.

Very large and roomy historic home. Bathroom arrangement was very convenient for sharing. Kitchen was stocked well. Host was very communicative. Loved that it was a very short walk to downtown.

We enjoyed our stay, comfortable, kitchen well equipped.

We enjoyed your house. Refrig & freezer needed a better cleaning but really ok. There were only 4 of us. Myself & 2 sisters with 1 spouse. We are all in our 80’s so getting around in Franklin by car was difficult for us but we did enjoyed our stay.

Quaint and quirky near downtown

A weekend getaway with friends in Franklin. We stayed over Labor Day Weekend and had a blast. The kitchen was the prefect hangout spot in the evenings. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There were some general maintenance items that need attention and overall cleanliness issues. Even with that, we still enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay in the house. VRBO was having technical difficulties and so I was not able to communicate directly with the host (for no fault of their own), but I did see they were checking in regularly to see if we were OK. I felt bad not being able to reply but this link to leave a review appears to be working and, fortunately, the house had no issues that required discussion. The location is fantastic and I recommend the place for groups needing 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and some additional couch space that could assist with some overflow.

A unique stay that takes you back in time

This may be one of the most unique places I've stayed at! A charming historic home with some modern amenities that made the stay comfortable for our family. Really amazing how dog friendly the entire town of Franklin is. We were able to bring our furry friends on our stay as well which was amazing. The house had plenty of necessities and the owners even provided a wonderful bottle of wine and snacks for our stay. We really enjoyed the location to downtown while we visited many of the historic Civil War sites during the day. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece of history with us!

Great location but dated and unkempt

I never write negative reviews but my family and I did not have a good experience. The house was dark, had a musty odor, and was not well maintained. While it is historic, doorknobs fall off, spider webs in crevices of windows, holes in walls where pictures were removed, shutters broken, curtains broken, etc. It was very disappointing especially given the price and host fees. It’s a good location and I hope the owners decide to give the house some TLC. The owners were nice and helpful when the A/C gave out.

Historic old but really needs updates

I really appreciate the historic value of the house but certain things in a vrbo should be constants. Cleanliness, anonymity to owners (family photos, personal items in drawers, closets etc), and updated linens and towels. Pillows and table coverings had stains. There was way to much other people stuff that made it feel like we were staying in other peoples home and not a blank slate. The lights in many rooms did not work well that gave a very somber mood and difficult to dress for events properly. No full length mirror, no hangers, odd clothing and items. Front porch and back patio could really use some TLC ie. tables, more comfortable seating. Unfortunately the photos must be very old, when the house still had some brightness and shine. Hope it can come back to life as the historical beauty it may have been. Manager did respond quickly to request to clean up the back patio and supply fire pit wood. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Disappointed overall but always like to offer constructive and accurate info.

It’s ok

The house is in a great neighborhood and a very good location to downtown. One of the sad parts is all the houses around it are clean and the lawn has been taken care of, except this one. Just seems like this is just a money maker to them and nothing more. This house could be so much nicer with some help. The worst part about the whole stay was we had to sleep on the couch because the beds were that bad, and mold on the shower curtain. This is just a lack of cleaning. Now to the good things. As stated before in a great neighborhood, everyone is extremely friendly, don’t really have to worry about anything, the owners will respond to you very fast, and there are certain aspects of the home that are very nice. Such as the kitchen. It’s beautiful. I’m not sure that we would stay there again, unless there was a major revamping of the home.

Mother’s Day Getaway

This house is great! We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen is very well equipped. The rooms are homey and spacious. Everyone said their bed was comfortable and slept great! We enjoyed the porch and people watching. The house is so close to the square that most of the time we walked. There are so many good places to eat and neat shops to shop! The neighborhood is safe and beautiful to walk around. We didn’t have any issues but Thomas was always very friendly and quick to respond with questions I had! Overall, I highly recommend and would stay here again!

The house was perfect for our stay in Franklin. Close to downtown and in a lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching people walk by. You could feel the history of the home. It was well appointed. We would stay there again!

A Gem of Franklin Square

We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful historic home. Walking 5 minutes to Starbucks for coffee in the mornings! Shopping and dining on the square in the evenings. Home is fully stocked with everything you need. This will be our preferred rental when visiting g our Franklin family.

Memorial

We were in Franklin for a Memorial Service! I wanted a location in Franklin that would be convenient for family to meet! The property is a delight! We enjoyed looking at all the pictures, Nick, Mack’s, etc! The place reminded us of a family home that we had all shared! All the extra amenities provide by host was great! We would definitely stay again on our return to Franklin!
