Wonderful 30A Vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dune Villas is a great location! The condo is roomy and convenient to everything. It was mostly clean. There are some signs of wear since our last visit. The views are so restful & inviting. The Bathroom has been remodeled with a wonderful new shower! Very nicely updated. The new vanity is interesting-no room for toiletries. The closet also remodeled-liked the style, shelves were used for needs not available in bathroom. As always, the staff at Benchmark was very accommodating. We will be returning! Thank You.

Owner - Get a new rental management company

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dear Owner, get a new rental management company with better agents. I tried to book the unit for an additional day but the rental agent said to call back 1 week prior and she'd do 10% off. I waited 6 days prior but then she said no. She put me on hold for any question I asked it was brutal to just get the thing booked. Asked to speak to a manager and she tried to block that then said she'd have one call back. Never got a call back. I called again a few days out same thing, full price. Couldn't get a manager on the phone. Also tried emailing and txting while we were down there for other issues for a manager and felt I was getting blocked by same person. Same person who told me while booking she wouldn't step foot in 30a's dirty water. It's sad when you cannot get a front desk manager or higher up person in a company like that on the phone to assist in concerns over their employees or the unit itself. Overall i'll never stay with Benchmark again nor rec them to friends. Go with realjoy or oceanreef for better quality. Bathroom - Green mildew all over the tile. Heavy mold. Very poor condition bathroom all around for what you pay. Shower fixtures broken and toilet seat needs replacement along with overall cleaning of the tile and trim. Sofa bed - Replace, ended up having to just use the couch without pulling it out. This thing has seen better days. Huge bar in your back if you try to sleep and a rod was broken and on the floor when opening. Bedroom - Awesome, people complained about the bed being to soft but I slept great. Kitchen - Great but fridge is rusting inside and ice maker has some issues but works/gets job done.Overall unit was okay, solid 6.4/10. Had a very distinct musty smell upon entry but it fades after your their a while. Def had to re-clean some places.

Great Location-Needs Updates

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this condo for 3 visits and love its location, it is an easy walk to the beach, just 400 steps! It's clean and just the right size for two people. However, we won't stay again for two reasons. The living room furniture is very uncomfortable and not good for relaxing in the evening and the bed is SO soft that we woke up aching every day, you sink way too low into the bed. These two things just need updating to make it perfect!

Dune Villas Thumbs Up!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me and my girlfriend spent all week here and everything was just right for the two of us and steps to the pool and beach. Everything was decorated nicely and clean. The staff was super nice and helped with a couple small questions we had as well. Location was ideal and within short drives to get mostly anything we needed too.The shower knob is functional but needs to be replaced soon and one of the foam foot stools was leaking foam balls.Other than those small things everything was great and we’d be back and tell our friends about Dune Villas 6A.

We love Seagrove Beach

One of the poofs in the unit was torn and little white foam beads kept showing up. Finally realized where they were coming from.

Very Disappointing

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Here is the list:1 Upon arrival we walked into a missing washer/dryer. The space was very dirty with old lint on the walls.2.We walked into the kitchen, turned the overhead light on, it flickered and went out.3. That same evening we had to 3 large roaches visit us, one of them was on the ceiling, so we had to dispose of those.4. All of the area rugs edges were worn and turned up, we tripped several times just moving around the condo.5. The mattress in the MB had to be the worst mattress we have ever experienced. It was so soft, if you pushed down with your hand, it would sink 6-10 inches. I had to move to the couch because of horrible back pain.6. The pots and pans were very worn and looked mistreated. We actually like to cook while on vacation.The management tried to help with a few of the issues. They sent an electrician (loose connection, potential fire hazard) and an exterminator, which we had to come from the beach and meet to get these repairs and bug guy, very inconvenient. They did offer a laundry service, but that was a little weird sending off your clothes to washed with telling who knows.Anyway, the condo was a terrible disappointment.

Dune Villas 6A-Fun Stay in April.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great unit-nice decor, quality effort made! We loved being close to the pool & great access to the Beach. All the amenities provided were good quality & plentiful. The bathroom is small but worked for 2 people. The maintenance issues we had were handled efficiently & with a sunny attitude!. Great service by Nicole & Randy. Thank You! The sliding shutter doors were great to take care of the curtains not covering the patio doors at night. Need to update pics to show that change. Great King size bed, but mattress so soft, you fall into it. We have been staying in Seagrove for 20 years in several different condos & rate this the best! The unit does need a thorough cleaning. I am sure we will be back as soon as we can & Thank You to the owners for the care you used to give the unit personality!

Disappointed in our Benchmark experience this year

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come to the area yearly and always try to stay at Dune Villas. We are usually always able to check in early. This property hadn't been booked for the week prior so it should've been available upon arrival, but Benchmark wasn't able to get us in early. Luckily our neighbors let us access their facilities before check in.The main complaint was the lack of response of Benchmark with issues within the property. When emailed them the night we checked in because the washing machine's latch was broken and unable to open. And when you opened the dryer the lint collector fell out and wouldn't stay in at all. We never got a response from them for the duration of our stay. We have always used AirBnb or Verb in the past, and our neighbors booked through Vascasa and highly recommended them. Next year we will not be booking through Benchmark because of the lack of service.

Reviewer Comments: The property was nice, clean, was in a good location and served our purpose. The beach was super close and the pool was right outside the back patio. Overall it was a good stay. We were disappointed that only four towels were available, which was not enough for a beach property (even for two people). We were also disappointed that there were beach chairs for the unit but they were locked with a bike lock right outside the front door and the management company said we were not allowed to access them.

Great beach condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condominium was very nice. If you're looking for luxury this is probably not what you're looking for. If practicality and economy are your goals this place is as good as it gets. With that said, the only problem that we had was that the washer didn't work and the dryer worked very slowly. We didn't call about the washer because we decided to do our laundry at home.

Also the handle to the shower was broken. I own a unit in Dune Villas and rented this unit for my guests who are unable to handle the stairs in my tri -level unit. I was very disappointed . My main concern is that there was no response to address the issues in the the email I sent. I
