House was awesome but lake not the best

I wish I could pick up this house and put it on another lake. House was perfect for the family and love the pool table and arcade and movie room and screen porch and firepit. The problem was the lake was very shallow and not the best for fishing or swimming or tubing. Wish we could move the house to another lake.

Spring Fishing 2024

Selected this location for our spring fishing trip. We're very pleased with the accommodation. The house was neat and orderly and plenty of Space to accommodate a large group. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use for cooking. Love the screen in porch on the lakeside as the weather wasn't always cooperating it gave us a nice place to still enjoy the day. And while not enjoying the day the media room was a hit and comfortable to watch a movie at night. As we brought our own boat to go fishing, I did appreciate the dock setup having a place to tie up and having bumpers in place

Relaxing Retreat

Vacation Bliss!!!

This home is perfect for a cozy getaway with family and friends. So much space to entertain, lounge, play games, and enjoy the company of loved ones! House is stocked with plenty of dishes, numerous amenities (fireplaces, games, bar space, speaker, towels), and much more! The furniture was lovely and bathrooms clean. We loved the numerous rooms and living quarters. The pool table downstairs was a hit for the men! The beauty of the lake and outdoor patio and landscaping just takes the cake. Fabulous place to stay, definitely recommend!!!!

Family vacation

This home is absolutely beautiful!! We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend! Amber was very responsive throughout the stay! Our teen kiddos loved the theater room and the pool table, and the adults loved the screened in porch which since we had a few rainy days was used a lot!! The kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything you need for cooking meals and more! The only heads up I would give to future renters is that the lake is extremely shallow and since this year was a bit of a drought even more so then usual...be very careful if using the public landing we unfortunately broke a prop on our rented pontoon and hit a couple boulders with the jet skies we rented :( 100% out of owners control just thought it would be useful information to add....get familiar with the lake before you go zipping around! :) Again stunning property with more than enough room for a large group to spread out and enjoy time together and time alone if desired! If you head into town for dinner I would highly recommend Bait and Hook in Cokato! If you go into Dassel there are a couple adorable boutiques and definitely stop at Thirsty's for a beverage and appetizer! :)

Great property for our family vacation

This property was astonishing. The listing was spot on with everything in person. The check in process was a breeze and the home was ready for our multiple families staying for our annual family vacation. People enjoyed the kayaks, swimming, tubing, and the movie theater room. This property especially was nice for our 2 year old who goes to bed before everyone else. He was fast asleep upstairs while everyone was in the basement entertainment area. Even though it was a hot week, the house stayed cool. Thank you again for letting us use this property to make memories with our family. 5 stars across the board!

The screened porch is our favorite!!

This was our 2nd time at Hope Shores. It is a beautiful lake home with a great view of the lake. Our family spent many hours on the screened porch drinking our morning coffee and playing games! We also enjoyed our time on and in the lake!

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful home! We had an amazing time and created many memories here. The screened in wrap around porch was my favorite part of the home. We are at the lake when the Mayflies became abundant. We rented a pontoon and jet ski. We fished. We kayaked. We had fires. We played games and we relaxed. We would definitely come back to stay another time!

Girls weekend retreat

Amazing guys weekend

Some friends and I went up and enjoyed playing video games and watching movies on the giant tv setup. Very clean place, everything you need is there. The owners were very responsive to all of my questions as it led up to our trip. Definitely reccommend.

Winter Family Getaway

This was our first annual winter getaway for our family, and it couldn't have been in a more beautiful home. We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were beautiful, the ambience was warm, and it was very clean as well. We would love to come back and stay in the summer to see the beauty of the property and area at that time of year as well! You can't go wrong with this fabulous home! It does, however say it sleeps 14, but there are only beds for eight. We didn't read enough of the information that you do need to bring air mattresses or sleeping bags if you have more than eight people in your party. Plenty of space for everybody… Very comfortable and inviting.!:)

Fun time had by all ages!

The property was clean, well-stocked and perfect for our party of 9. Plenty of space to spread out and ample amenities to entertain adults and kids. Even though it was cold and we weren’t outside much, it was still a wonderful getaway and the proximity to the metro was a bonus!
