Good overall stay

The home was presented as listed. The location was close and convenient to many stores. If you have a large group, definitely bring more washcloths and towels. Basic kitchen essentials. The waterpark was tiny and overly crowded so we never visited it. We paid to have the hot tub and pool heated, only to find that the heater was broken. We reported it and the pool guy was out to fix it the very next day. The neighborhood is big so it was very crowded with people parking on both sides of the street making it difficult to drive through at times. The kids enjoyed it, so overall it was a good stay.

Awesome !

I have no complaints at all, the house was clean, roomy, the pool was warm and clean the kitchen had everything we need, bathroom was all clean, Jose was amazing at responding to my messages quickly, I felt safe it is gated and had security car at night. We went to the water park and had a nice time on the lazy river and the grandkids had fun in the water slides, over all I would book next year for our family vacation. Rosita .Q

Team Retreat - Weekend Experience

Let me start by saying this is my 5th time staying in Storey Lake properties and I must say this one was the worst one. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was poorly cleaned and neglected. From crumbs on the table and seat chairs in the kitchen to dirty bedroom linen, the cleanliness of the property was subpar. We immediately contacted the management to address these issues, but to our dismay, they asked for pictures which were sent, however we never received a response. We actually when to a nearby target and purchased washing/ cleaning supplies to wash the bed linens and clean surfaces. It was as if they simply didn't care about the state of their property or the satisfaction of their guests. To make matters worse, essential amenities promised in the listing were broken, so please be prepared to wash all of your dishes by hand. Overall, I don't recommend you staying with this property management company. There are several other properties that are more up kept and responsive.

Nice Place Poor Service

First the good. The home was absolutely stunning. My family stated multiple times that I had outdone myself with this selection. There was plenty of space. Just outside the gate was a Target which made shopping easy. We really enjoyed the club house. It was pretty far away, but worth a day of sitting in the sun. The management was not so helpful. First, the phone number on their website and Facebook page don't go anywhere. I think one went to a veterinary clinic. The number outside the door is correct and gets you right to a person, but this was not helpful when our flight was delayed. At booking I requested pool heat, this was not on when we arrived. I called the number by the door and reached someone immediately. They said they would send someone the next day, we never did get pool heat. The wifi password provided was incorrect. This was problematic because my cell provider did not have good service in this area. This made it hard to even call the number on the door, let alone try to send an email to get some type of service. The person on the phone was able to help us get this sorted out quickly. My flight was delayed 30 hours. This is not the responsibility of the host. However, I asked if there was a possibility of receiving a partial refund. I was told to send information to two emails and would receive a response. I am not upset that they did not refund any money, again they are not responsible for the airlines. I am disappointed that I did not get any response. After three attempts of asking them to simply send confirmation of receipt and a declination, I have gotten no response at all. It's a beautiful clean home in a nice location. Don't expect much help after they have received your money.

Just a few disappointments

I didn’t like that the pool and hot tub was an addition fee for heat and also the BBQ pit. I did not know this till the day if my stay. You would think that a hot tub would of course be hot but it was freezing. They said we had to pay extra for that and ask 24 hrs in advance. Other then this the place was absolutely perfect.

We had 4 moms rent this space for our daughters tournament. The location was easy access to the venue. The house was clean and spacious and gave everyone enough personal space to relax after each day. Loved having the pool to just relax in and not leave the house.

Thanksgiving Stay

The place was nice and clean. Definitely had small imperfections as is expected with rental properly. Nice and spacious. It worked well for our family getting together! Easy to work with the Manager and easy check in and out. Kitchen was pretty equip, but it lacked measuring spoons and cups, and dish towels, and potholders which I would feel these are essentials for cooking in. Dishwasher did not work well. Detergent door would not open. I also think it would helpful to have a vacuum of some kind. FYI- you need to bring additional of the following: dishwashing soap, only one packet supplied. Toilet paper one roll for each bathroom and one roll paper towel supplied. Pool could have been a little warmer, however we used it quite a bit.

Nice stay in big private house

Check in was great. No contact just enter key code at the house. Everything clean and neat. But lil things have nobody to assist with. Thermostat got locked so it got warm and couldn’t fix, so turned on all the fans, we got locked out of gate near target and just small maintenance issues nobody responds to. But other than that loves it .

Amazing stay but really hard beds!

The home is absolutely amazing and beautifully decorated. Myself and group had a fantastic time. Communication for the pool heating and getting the code to unlock the grill got a bit rocky but luckily the property manager still responded to messages at night. My chef started improvising until I was able to get the code to unlock the chain. (Just be sure to clarify and send reminders and get check in info during the 2 days before the stay.) Checking in and getting into the neighborhood was seamless. The beds are very, very hard. Some may like this, but it actually physically hurt our bodies. With softer beds and ice available in the dispenser (had to buy ice), this place can definitely be a 10/10.

Good location

This house is in a great location and the resort amenities were awesome. The house was nice but had a few issues. Mostly, the kitchen is not equipped for anyone wanting to cook. A few things in the kitchen but no pot holders, no spatula, no pitcher and more. If they added to the kitchen and fixed a few cosmetic issues it would be great.
