This lovely, well-appointed, down-to-earth charmer is a rare find in the St. Mary's community. Located in a residential area, minutes from the picturesque waterfront and the ferry to Cumberland Island, it is perfect for a family. The master BR and bath are on the opposite side of the house from the two other bedrooms and second bath, affording plenty of quiet for tired parents. A well lit walkway along the side of the home leads to a huge backyard surrounded by privacy fencing.*(Please see additional guest info in last paragraph) An umbrella covered picnic table with charcoal grill as well as a fire pit with large comfy Adirondack style chairs will make for a special family gathering.

St. Mary's Aquatic Center (in season) is minutes away and the beach is a 35-minute drive door to sand! Day trips to Fernandina Beach, Jekyll Island or St. Simons Island are all great destinations worthy of a spot on the calendar! Don't forget Cumberland Island! Kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles can be rented at Knuckleheads at our beautiful waterfront park and you will find golf cart rentals available at St Marys Magic Market...right on Church Street. So whether you spend the day in St. Marys or take a day trip outing...adventure awaits!

This is a well-loved family home, available for short stays (minimum of two nights) or longer visits (Please reach out to us should you desire a stay greater than 28 nights). Though a newer listing within the Vrbo community, this retreat is guaranteed to bring you bright and sunny peace and quiet, and enough joy to lift your spirits for the next round of reality. You will surely want to come back again and again.

*Our "60's vintage" home was originally constructed with a carport having a side door which stepped into the kitchen area. A breezeway from the carport led into the backyard and was in essence the "backdoor". During a complete remodel the carport was transformed into a spacious Master suite and the "breezeway" became an additional bath with washer and dryer. A winding 5 foot walkway along the side of the home now leads to ones entry to the backyard. With its close proximity to a wonderful riverfront park and downtown area (itself having undergone recent renovations and landscaping!) we were drawn to this home with its "relaxed coastal feel" within this quiet neighborhood. Cozy house in ideal location

Uncomplicated, friendly host who always responds within useful time. The house is well furnished, large rooms, very clean. The garden is large and offers shade. In about 35 minutes you can be at the beaches of Amelia Island. Shopping centers are nearby. Gladly again!

Cute Cottage

This quaint 3-BR, 2-BA was perfect for a weekend getaway to visit Cumberland Island National Seashore and to check out St. Mary's, GA. The bedrooms were lovely, and the kitchen was well stocked with what you would need for a home away from home. The backyard was lovely with a firepit and chairs to sit around the fire.I would recommend this location for those visiting loved ones at Kings Bay Submarine Base, or those who want to explore the coast of south Georgia / north Florida.The hosts made it simple to check in and check out.

We had 5 people stay at this cute home in a great location. I am very glad we decided to stay in St. Mary’s to be in the car show at Amelia Island. The hosts were very nice and quick to respond. The place had a huge inviting fenced in backyard! 10/10 recommend to stay here!

Clean, needs curtains over bedroom windows. The referral to Spouses Bakery was awesome. Cinnamon rolls ARE amazing! Odd that there’s no access to backyard from inside the house.

Enjoyed our stay at your home

My two sisters, our mother, our aunt, my boyfriend, and our dog came from Kinston, NC for our grandmother’s /mother’s funeral. We really loved your home. It was a clean, very comfortable, nicely furnished home. We loved the beach theme of the decor. Neighborhood was very quiet. The home had everything we needed. The only thing we were short on was washcloths. Which we went and bought a couple to have while there and left them for future guests also. Home was very clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to the Saint Mary’s area. Price was also great. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming in their communications with us. Very pleased overall. Would definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

The house worked perfect for our family. My oldest is a Marine in Beaufort SC and it wasn’t far for him to drive. It was close to family where the birthday party was. It was great and we enjoyed our time three.

Wonderful Thanksgiving memories made at 'Buoy O Buoy' :o) Jeff + Su have created a cozy environment for family to Gather, Laugh & Enjoy one another. Home is clean and fully stocked. Water pressure is fantastic. Both air conditioner and heating work well. Bedrooms are an excellent size. The backyard is huge! Our dogs loved it back there. It is also a safe neighborhood to take your dogs for a walk. Jeff provided top-notch communication and I appreciated his authentic & genuine nature.

Perfect home for a short getaway to St. Mary's

Communication with hosts was exceptional. All of the information needed was available. The home was very clean and well maintained. We did have an issue getting the washer and dryer to work (two tries on the washer and three on the dryer and the clothes came out wet). We felt safe and comfortable. Close to town, restaurants, and shopping. We had planned on going further down into Florida but found St. Mary's to be a great place to visit, so we stuck around and visited Cumberland Island. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely Fabulous

Such a perfect location for visiting St Mary and taking a trip to Cumberland Island. The owners are quick to respond to all inquiries. The home is so clean and rooms are comfortable. We stayed a long weekend with family members and had everything we needed to cook meals together and visit. We would definitely stay there again no question!

CCHS Class of 1968 Reunion

We enjoyed staying at Jeff and Su's wonderful property while attending our CCHS Class Reunion. We liked it so much, we stayed there twice! The location is great - central to all of St. Marys' activities - close to the waterfront, etc. The spacious bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining room are very comfortable. The entire property is tastefully decorated and well stocked with all you need for a comfortable stay. The back yard is large and includes a swing set and firepit. Most of all, the owner was extremely quick to respond to my questions and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this property. I plan to stay there a third time when I visit St. Marys again. Perfect Port in the Storm

Our family had to evacuate with our two dogs for hurricane Milton. Jeff and Su communicated promptly and adjusted arrival with an early extra day. We so appreciate them for this while emergency orders were underway in our home area. Now for the charming home review! It had enough space for everyone, HUGE backyard (access is from outside home),all the amenities needed, and truly felt warm and inviting. So clean and every little thing had a purpose and fit the theme of the space showing the thought and care the owners have for this home. There was a wonderful work area in the master bedroom that made working and managing two laptops easy. The town was a walk or short couple block drive away and we loved exploring the marked historical sites and cute stores. Great food nearby and owners give the best recommendations!! We could not have picked a more perfect port to escape to—thank you, Jeff and Su!

Perfect family weekend

Really nice place, cozy house. They have everything you need. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown where you can find nice stores, restaurants, tours. The property manager went to the house when we arrived to be sure that we had everything we need. We highly recommend this property.
