Perfekter Familienurlaub auf der wunderschönen Bald Head Island. Das Gigi’s Place befindet sich in zentraler Lage im Küstenwald, nur 3 Fahrminuten mit dem Golfwagen von den Stränden entfernt. Großes Privathaus am 7. Fairway, nur wenige Minuten vom Hafen, den Stränden und dem Markt entfernt. Voll ausgestattet mit allen wesentlichen Bedürfnissen für jedes Familienmitglied. Von Spielschaukeln und Hängematten im Freien bis hin zu Spielen in Innenräumen können Kinder die unterhaltsamen Spielzeuge von Gigi, einschließlich Xbox One mit Wireless-Controllern, in vollen Zügen nutzen. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über neue Smart-Flachbildfernseher mit vollständigem Kabel- und WLAN-Internetzugang. Für die Treppe sind Babygitter vorhanden. Pack and Play mit Matratze, Hochstuhl, Doc a tot und Babyphone machen das Reisen mit Säuglingen und Kleinkindern zum Kinderspiel. Erwachsene werden die Aussicht auf den Golfplatz und die abgeschirmte Veranda mit dem zweiten Essbereich genießen. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit neuen Geräten 2 Kühlschränke mit Eismaschinen, Keurig, Mixer, Insta- und Crock-Töpfen, Küchenmaschine und Küchenhelfer Mixer und Mixer. Der Essbereich bietet Platz für größere Familien mit ausziehbarem Tisch. Dieses geräumige Haus verfügt über 4 große Schlafzimmer und bietet Platz für 12 Personen. Designerbettwäsche und -laken mit allen neuen Memory Foam-Matratzen. Gigi's Haus ist von September bis Mai unser ständiges Zuhause und wir freuen uns, unsere OASIS mit Ihnen zu teilen. Inselabenteuerlustige können 2 Kajaks (1 Person und 3 Person), 2 Surfbretter, Boogiebretter, 2 Fahrräder für Erwachsene, Sandvolleyball-Sets nutzen. Weitere Strandausrüstung von Gig's Place: Boccia, Paddleball, Boogiebretter, kabelloser Strandlautsprecher , Liegestühle, Sonnenschirme, Kühler und Strandwagen, die für eine einfache Strandreise am Golfwagen befestigt werden können. (1) Golfwagen für 4 Personen, (1) Golfwagen für 6 Personen. Holzkohle- und Gasgrills für Ihr Grillvergnügen. Der Freitag- / Freitag-Turn-Tag in der Saison macht das Vermeiden von An- und Abreisemassen zum Kinderspiel und ermöglicht es Ihnen, ein volles Strandwochenende zu genießen.
Gigi's Place bietet auch Müllsäcke, Wasch- und Spülmittel, um Ihre Reisekosten zu senken.

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The house was in the perfect location, spotless, and stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. With 4 adults and 4 children, there was plenty of space, and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable for everyone. The host was so kind and responded to our questions promptly, both before and during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back! If you have kids and are traveling to the island, this is the place to stay!!

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting

We had a wonderful time. There were a couple minor issues in the beginning but the property owner was very quick and gracious to correct them and make our stay really special. The home is lovely with very nice furnishings. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. The location was very convenient to the island amenities. Plenty of golf carts for our use and a nice grill! The kitchen was well stocked and great for our family gatherings. It was a lovely and comfortable vacation! 2

Everything You Need

This beautiful home was the site of our summer vacation, and it was everything we wanted and more. The house is perfectly appointed. Seriously, we've never stayed in a house that had everything you can think of. This one did! The floorplan worked more than well for our party of six, and the view from the back porch can't be beat. Magical Escape

We can’t say enough good things about our wonderful experience at Gigi’s Place. The location is private, quiet, and beautiful. The house is spacious and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated how each room was well-appointed and stocked, especially the kitchen—which we cooked in every day, both adults and kids. Little things like updated laundry appliances and high-end mattresses/sheets go a long way towards making guests feel very welcome and comfortable. Lou is an attentive and appreciative homeowner who made sure that we were comfortable with the level of cleanliness and care (during COVID) and she even offered to help us manage through a storm and island-wide power outage. Having two carts is a great bonus—especially one larger one for when our 2-family crew headed to the beach with chairs and gear everyday. BHI is a special destination and Gigi’s Place is a perfect place to stay and enjoy everything the island has to offer.

Stay here!

We had an amazing stay. It was our second time on baldhead and our friend’s 5th and we can only rave about Lou and the house. She went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The home was clean and neat and had anything you may need for kids of any age. She has everything at the house so we didn’t have to lug our own beach towels or filtered water or toys for the kids. Thanks so much Lou! Hope to stay with you again in the future.

Great family getaway

Gigi’s Place was fully stocked as promised and we found the home to be a great escape with upscale finishes that made it extra comfortable. Loved the back porch, the grills and two golf carts came in very handy and Lou was a super responsive owner. T-shirts were an extra treat. Highly recommend!

Gigi’s Place

From reservation to departure everything was top notch. We’ve been going to BHI for years, and this was by far the cleanest and most well equipped house we’ve stayed in. The owner was awesome. Extremely friendly, available and responsive. We typically stay on the marsh or ocean, but this location was equally fantastic. Having a central location was nice and made it quick to get where we wanted to go. Everyone had a great time!

Gigi’s Heaven

This was a quick stay for myself and a few friends. We were all blown away by the island! Talk about paradise! The house was immaculate! The beds were comfortable, the home was warm and welcoming! The host had a forgotten box with toothbrushes and other toiletries as well as sunscreen and first aid kits! The home had every kitchen device you could imagine from insta pots to crock pots to blenders! You won’t need to bring anything! Gigi’s is hidden off the road and on a secluded wooded lot. I felt so at peace on this home! My family will be booking this home again in the future! Thank you to the amazing hosts for allowing us to stay in such a magnificent home!

Second time staying was better than first!

We stayed at Gigi’s Place last summer and had a blast. The changes they have made are great and only enhanced our stay this year. The owner, Lou met us at the ferry with a great beach (Swag) bag with lots of information about the island, a scavenger hunt that we loved completing, and some other great things that she wanted us to keep as a surprise for future guests. The listing on VRBO says the kitchen is well appointed, that’s an understatement. There were spices, and other stables that saved us having to pack or buy and I can’t imagine anything I would need that wasn’t provided. I think the Keurig and insta-pot are new and came in very handy, this trip. Prior to our stay this time we received a lot of detailed information and tips for planning, packing and traveling to the island. We have been coming to BHI for the last 15 years and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Gigi’s Place is located minutes from the beach, the BHI club, the market and the harbor, which made it convenient for our friends and guests. I don’t usually sleep well when traveling but love the new mattresses and linens at Gigi’s Place, they are very comfortable. We used the kayaks and the boys attempted to use the surf boards; it was great for these to be provided instead of us having to rent them. Bald Head Island is a great vacation spot and we certainly recommend Gigi’s Place to everyone.

A small slice of paradise..

This was our second stay at GiGi’s Place (first through VRBO) and we will be back again and again. Bald Head Island is an amazing little paradise and GiGi’s Place is the perfect place to enjoy it from. We travelled with another family and the dual master suites made this house a great fit. The beds are comfortable with new memory foam mattresses. The linens are high quality and soft. Between the two families we had 5 children (one an infant). GIGi’s Place has a fun bunk room that easily slept the 4 older children and could have held more. It also had everything we needed for an infant plus things we didn’t know we were missing (the doc-a-tot was so nice we bought one of our own when we got home). The pack-n-play had a mattress making it more comfortable for a 7 night stay and the baby monitors were a great touch. We also traveled with a babysitter, who had her own bedroom to escape to. On Bald Head you do a lot of your own cooking and GiGi’s place was a DREAM. The kitchen has everything you could ever need in the kitchen. Let’s be honest no one wants to be in the kitchen on vacation, but with the instant pot and slow cooker GiGi’s makes it easy to spend most of your time enjoying Bald Head! The golf carts provided are nice and on the newer side. There is more fun beach equipment than we knew what to do with and the older children loved the kayak on the marsh. The location is one of the best on the island, everything is 3-5 minutes away (market, harbor, beaches, BHI Club). And the back porch has wonderful views of the golf course and occasionally an alligator. The property owner, Lou, is so helpful and kind. She’s quick to respond to questions and provides lots of great information and tips for travel to and life on the island. All said we’ll be back every year!

We are Taylor and Toby, along with our two adventurous little companions, Elouise and Webster.

Our love affair with Bald Head Island dates back to the early 2000s when a young girl, Taylor, first set foot on its shores. Her mom, Lou, always dreamed of owning a piece of this paradise, and that dream became a reality in 2018 when the house was lovingly known as 'Gigi's Place.'

Fast forward a few years, and now Taylor along with her siblings has the opportunity to carry on the legacy of this cherished island home. After a brief hiatus from the rental market, we are thrilled to reintroduce our beloved retreat as 'Out of Office'.
Elouise and Webster have grown up on this island, and we hope that 'Out of Office' will continue to be a place where dreams of Bald Head Island homeownership are born.
