Lovely apartment in the center of beautiful Milan

The apartment is perfectly located to explore the city of Milan. It is clean, well furnished and Maria Theresa the owner is a wonderful host! We spent a wonderful time with our teenagers. If you are looking for a good place to eat fish or pizza go to Rosy e Gabriele, only a five minute walk away.

Conveniently located amd spotlessly clean property

This flat is ideal for a city break- it is on a very busy shopping street and right above Porta Venezia metro station (25-30 mins from Linate airport). Despite being in a very busy and bustling urban area the flat is very quiet and well soundproofed. It is very compact so ideal for 3-4 people. It is spotlessly clean and everything is pristine. Space is used well and the appartment has everything one needs and more- the hosts have gone to so much thought to supply everything from umbrellas, toiletries (including make up remover!) and more. The kitchen is well supplied with pots snd pans shoukd you wish to cook. There are fantastic places to eat just round the corner so we made good use of them all.The hosts Maria Theresa and her husband Nicola however are exceptional- would give them more than the five stars allowed! From communucation to givingvus excellent recommendations of places to visit, where to eat and numerous other tips (Nicola was kind enough to even call Monza to find out if tours were available as tickets on the website were showing as sold out) which enabled us to have a wonderful stay. Thank you so much both of you.

You have good taste if…

Congratulations! You are about to make an excellent decision if you are lucky enough to rent this property. Excellent location with amenities all around and metro just outside the door. Our host was wonderful and went out of her way to make our stay great.

Great Stay!

Maria Teresa & Marco are fabulous hosts! They went above and beyond making sure our stay was comfortable-they even did laundry for us since the washer had broken right before we checked in AND found us a tailor when we need some mending! They thoughtfully stocked everything we might need during our stay. The apartment is located in a very nice area and close to the subway. We had a very comfortable stay and we'll definitely stay here on our next visit.

Fabulous location and host!

We had an incredible stay! The host Maria Teresa was absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. The location was perfect, offering easy access to all the local attractions and there was an elevator. We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place in Milan. I would be remiss not to mention that the apartment is best for 2 people but worked for 4 of us. The 2nd bathroom is only a toilet and sink, no shower. However we would not hesitate to stay here again. The host was an incredible human being and we can’t thank her enough.

Best experience in Milan

Our trip to Milan was an amazing adventure and we have Maria Teresa to thank. The location was phenomenal and everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. On arrival Maria Teresa greeted us and made us feel at home. She offered personal recommendations on restaurants and activities through all parts of Milan. Everything she suggested was amazing. She provided a binder with helpful information. She checked in and made reservations for us which made the visit easier. Her home is beautiful and our family of 4 adults enjoyed it. She showed us all the workings of the modern home and made herself available for questions. Her appreciation for her home and city is evident in the talks we shared. She made us feel like part of her family. The neighborhood was wonderful and felt very safe at all times. This is a MUST if you plan to stay in Milan. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing host, perfect apartment

The property is in a fantastic area, easy walk to Duomo and so well located for transport links. Metro, buses and trams literally outside the door. Train station within a short walk/tram/metro make taking a day trip further afield a breeze. Maria Theresa is the perfect host. She was waiting at the apartment to greet us and went through how everything in the apartment worked. All the little things you need for your stay are provided. She has also taken the time to provide a folder with recommendations of where to visit and good local restaurants, her folder has actual restaurant menus in it! Because this is an area for locals every amenity is available; supermarkets, bars and good restaurant's. Maria Theresa turned up at a mutually convenient time for check out she even showed me where to get the tram to the train station, waited with me, made sure I got on the correct one and even lifted my bag onto the tram. Honestly you couldn’t expect anymore from the host or the apartment. If I find myself in Milan again I would definitely stay here and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

A wonderful experience!

We had an excellent 4 night stay at Maria’s apartment. Everything was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and modern with air conditioning and sound proof windows. It was perfectly located to walk to the trains/trams and local restaurants. Maria was lovely, she went above and beyond, meeting us when we arrived (and departed!), helping with our luggage and sharing her tips for the city. We would highly recommend this apartment for a perfect stay in Milan. Thank you Maria!

Best VRBO experience ever

The best thing about this rental experience was the host- who communicated in a timely, organized and helpful way all through the process from booking to check out. The location in Milan could not be more convenient- literally steps from building entry to metro station. The building has interesting quirks like the smallest cabinet size elevator that barely fit two people (surprising quick to the top floor)- the view for the balcony puts you right into the city, and with good Italian shutters/ mosquito screen/ soundproof windows you can barely hear any city traffic. The apartment is super clean and modern. Kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms were all well equipped ( host thought of all the ammenities!) We met at the building for check in and benefitted from all the long standing local knowledge and patient introduction and tips from our host. She even have a organized binder of sights, restaurants, locations of interest and other helpful resources and how to recycle etc in it. Instructions for operating any of the appliances were also clearly organized. Check out was also super easy. All in all this has to be the best VRBO or vacation rental we have experienced. highly recommend this property and our most gracious host.

Great Milan apartment!

The owner of the apartment is a wonderful ambassador for Milan. She provided great suggestions for our stay. The tram and subway are right out the front door so it is easy to navigate the city’s major attractions, Central rail station, etc. The spacious apartment is totally renovated, very clean, and comfortable. This apartment is a gem!

This was the first stay of our two week trip. It was wonderful to start off with such a awesome host! Maria was very helpful and went the extra mile. She provided all the extras you would need. She even translated some letters for us. We would only suggest saying it is above the Victoria Secret store. That would have been helpful locating it. Wonderful Stay

Maria Theresa and her husband were delightful hosts. Suffice it to say that all of the accolades mentioned in the reviews over the past several years remain well-deserved. I highly recommend this accommodation and am looking forward to my next visit. I think this property is particularly well-suited for first time visitors to Milan given its strategic location, access to multiple transportation nodes, wealth of amenities in the immediate area and Maria Theresa's expert guidance. Also, for those who may be sensitive to cigarette smoke, I am glad to report that I had no issues even though technically smoking is permitted on the balconies. You really can't go wrong staying here.

Great location and a fantastic host

We were visiting Milan for a few days and decided to stay at Maria’s VRBO. Best decision as it was close to all transportation, shopping, easy walks to the center of town and the apt and Maria were both great. Having a washing machine was helpful as well. Would definitely come back. Only thing to note that it’s truly a one bedroom with a really nice sofa bed in a larger living room. We didn’t mind that as it was just the two of us.

Totally Fabulous

The host,Marie Therese, was very helpful with great recommendations for many different restaurants,excellent sightseeing options as well as out of town itineraries! The property was well located on a fun local shopping street ,immaculately clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed ,with everything that would be required to prepare meals. Excellent apartment in central Milan

We had a great time in this apartment. The quality was better than we expected with a tastefully decorated top-floor apartment that has everything you need. The local area is right in the middle of a buzzing shopping area and there are many excellent cafes and restaurants nearby, and lots of public transport options. Maria Teresa was an excellent host, providing us with lots of information and being generally very friendly and helpful. Grazie mille!

An Excellent Place to Stay in Milano!

My two lady friends and I were very comfortable staying at Maria Therese’s property. The location was great for us - we walked and/or used the metro which is practically right outside the apartment door. Although we didn’t use all the appliances available we were glad they were there. The washing machine was very easy to use and that was a bonus for us. Maria herself was the best of hostesses. She met us and explained everything about the place, gave us advice and suggestions for restaurants, and offered to help us with connections to the airport upon leaving. We didn’t need that though as we had a car service but it is good for renters to know beforehand. She offered much help and was available by chat on WhatsApp which was very handy for us. She also met us just prior to our departure and helped us downstairs with our luggage. The apartment is 5th floor but there is a little elevator that proved very dependable. If I ever returned to Milano I would not hesitate to rent with her again. Thank you - gracias - Maria.

Impeccable and centrally located

The property looks just as advertised and was impeccably clean. Maria Teresa was a fabulous host, spending a good amount of time with us upon check in to help us plan our itinerary, figure out transportation, and make recommendations for our dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten free). The apt had everything we needed for our family of 4. It is directly in front of a subway station and a tram, so very easy access to anywhere in Milan. It is on a main street with many shops, restaurants, stores on the same block and many more within a few blocks. It's on the 5th floor, but there is a 2-person lift if this is an issue for you (it wasn't for us). Also, while the apt is on a main street, the noise cancelling doors are pretty amazing, but don't expect it to be country quiet at night (you'll hear some traffic/trains-you're in the city after all). We loved people watching off the 2 balconies. Maria Teresa arranged pickup for us from Malpensa and a taxi to the train station for our departure. It was a great experience. Really, we couldn't have asked for more on our first visit to Milano.

Milano for Monza

We used this apartment as a base for our daily commute to the F1 race in Monza. A very short, albeit crowded, train ride from Milan Central Station. This property was just as advertised but better with all modern updated decor and appliances. Very conveniently located next to the Porta Venezia Metro stop in the heart of Milan. All of the fabulous attractions Milan has to offer were within easy walking distance or short metro stops. Shopping along Corsa Buenas Aires was exceptional and probably the best in town with the exception of the ultra chic shops located around the Cathedral. When we arrived, we were met by our gracious host Maria Teresa. She was exceedingly helpful laying out the area, suggesting numerous restaurants nearby and even drawing out suggested walking tours on a map she provided. Her welcoming snack package was very much unexpected but greatly appreciated. There are no shortage of fine eateries, bakeries and cafe's for all tastes within a 5 -10 minute walk of the apartment. Although the apartment was at a very busy intersection, we heard virtually no noise due to the quality of the windows and doors that led to the 2 balconies. If you want to experience the lively flavour of the street at night the balconies are a great perch to enjoy a beverage or snack late night. If you prefer the hop on hop off bus tours, the stop is right outside the door. Parking if required is across the street, 25 euros per day. All in all, we had a fabulous visit to this great city. Magnificent Milan

The adorable apartment is in a PERFECT location, the metro is right outside the front door, the hop on hop off bus stops 30 feet from front door. Can walk from main train station, 15 min or 5 minute cab ride. I cannot say enough about Maria Theresa, she was by far the best owner I have ever dealt with. When you rent here you also get her as your personal concierge. She made dinner reservations for us for 2 nights, texted us during the day to see if we needed anything, Arranged our transfers to the airport. She is an amazing person! She has lots of great energy and is very passionate about Milan. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here, we will stay with her again when we come back! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Perfect Spot to enjoy Milano

What a wonderful experience and location to enjoy the many sites to see in Milan. The level of service, friendliness and assistance from Mary Teresa went beyond my expectations even having read the previous reviews. The accommodation for 4 is more than enough room and has an old world charm with modern furniture and ambience. Stunning place! I highly recommend this stay. When I travel I love to compare my culture with that one of the country where I go; I try to identify myself as much as possible with local people. I explore more and more, walking, talking, eating, and attending also hidden locations and attractions, not necessarily described in the tourist guides. I like the idea of staying in a comfortable, clean, well equipped flat, that makes me relax after a busy day and that gets me move easily at night if I want to go out.
