Disappointed with our guest experience
I hope to update this review, but unfortunately it has been difficult getting any contact and follow through with Vacasa. My review directly connects to Vacasa’s communication and coordination issues, maintenance problems, and service failures.
Despite making multiple requests regarding the floor plan of the home, we were given the runaround, which included failed promises to connect us with a local manager. The Vacasa app provided outdated information for property contacts, creating unnecessary stress, and making it difficult to plan for our stay, particularly for our elderly family members.
Upon arrival, we encountered numerous issues that impacted our vacation (broken AC, ovens, and ceiling fans, malfunctioning exterior door, missing TV boxes, etc). Obtaining essential items such as the golf cart keys and a lockbox code were unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming, despite multiple communications. I made contact with a local property manager who addressed some of the maintenance issues, but many were not addressed toward the end of our week-long stay. I experienced repeated delays and missed appointments. On two occasions, I was promised maintenance personnel would arrive the following day, but no one showed up, which disrupted vacation plans. I was promised multiple times a call from a Vacasa supervisor, but never received a call, and my requests for follow-up have gone unanswered.
We hope Vacasa can take accountability and provide a higher service for future stays
