Relaxing Stay in Wildwood Crest on Jersey Shore

Our family spent last week at Ocean Sands and thoroughly enjoyed the condo and location. We'll appointed unit with all necessities, clean and nicely situated between Cape May and Stone Harbor. Loved morning coffee under umbrella looking at Atlanctic which is directly in front of this unit. Also loved cocktails in the evening! There is a high boy table and 2 comfy lounge chairs on balcony. The condo just 2 miles south of the Boardwalk and it's many attractions; mainly for younger folk, but a sight to be sure! The neighborhood is quiet and safe as we enjoyed walking every night. Very good pizza and Tavern on Pacific within a short walk. There is a gas grill in front of unit too which was super option to cooking in! Cape May has great shopping/restaurants and Point beasches beautifulif ok with $10 pp fee and fantastic light house to climb; just 10 minutes away. No whales unfortunately on whale watch but saw 100s of dolphin. Would love to return again. Thanks Shreya for the coordination!

A Time to Remember

Overall, the condo was lovely. We looked at the pictures on the website, but had no idea that there were so many steps to be climbed to enter (about 36). This was a problem for three senior citizens, especially with repeated trips to haul our groceries, linens, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking/eating utensils, and all was VERY COMFORTABLE. The view from the balcony was wonderful. There were a lot of instructions sent with the reservation, and it is a good idea to read them thoroughly before you go. I had not done this, and so our entry into the condo was not as easy as it could have been.

The Ideal Beach Location

Condo is in a beautiful spot located near several stores and restaurants. You cannot possibly have a better view from the deck. Condo is well equipped and maintained. Pack light because you have stairs to climb!

Beautiful beach front condo

Beautiful views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. It was perfect for 6 adults, there were plenty of dishes and glasses. Note- there are sheets but must be washed before leaving, which be a lot with a full house, there are 4+ beds. There was an issue with the HVAC which led to wet carpets, but homeowner response was quick.

Such a pretty, clean and fun vacation spot. The pool was great and the walk to the beach was easy. Close to the boardwalk, shopping and restaurants. Just a fun place to stay.

Oceanfront Gem

Great location, beautiful view of the ocean, and only steps to the beach. This condo is fully equipped for indoor and outdoor activities. As a side note, to get to the master bedroom there is a circular staircase that could be difficult to climb for some.

Gem on the beach

This 3 bedroom on the beach will meet many family's needs. Great location; beautiful beach; large deck; fantastic picture window from the master bedroom. But there are some limitations that won't work for all families - master bedroom is a large loft over the open family room/kitchen. Every whisper is heard in both directions... some will be kept up by noise or woken earlier than they want. But the price is right - definitely a fair if not great value. We would definitely rent again

Great location

This place was right on the water, very ideal location. The outdoor patio set was amazing, so comfortable with a nice big umbrella. The house was clean, some minor updates could made to some dated furniture (area rug + sofas) that could make a big difference. Nice big dining table + kitchen supplies - love that there was a Keurig. Overall would recommend.

Wonderful week with family

This property has exceeded all expectations by both me and my family. The location could not have been more convenient with direct beach access and far enough away from the crowds at the boardwalk. The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and 3 full bathrooms. The only drawback for the master bedroom where the king size bed is located is that you can only access from a spiral staircase. Once your up there you will love the view from the large window over-looking the beach/ocean. I would recommend staying here and look forward to the opportunity to spend the week with my family again.

Perfect location!

We love Wildwood Crest and this was our first time staying oceanfront at Ocean Sands. We were so pleased with the unit that we booked next year’s trip before this one was even over. Owner was super responsive and very understanding of questions related to COVID-19 sanitation and travel. Already counting down to July 2021!

Fun week at the beach!

Loved the location. Great ocean view. Nicely furnished. The spiral staircase to the loft bedroom took a little getting used to. Enjoyed the deck for evening take-out meals and in the morning for watching the sun rise.

Beautiful , clean condo , plenty of room . Lots of amenities and a beautiful view . Perfect location There was an issue with a lack of hot water . After a few phone calls and emails , hot water was reinstated Enjoyed the perfect weather and the weekend

We came to Wildwood Crest to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday at the Jersey shore where she spent summers growing up. There were 4 of us and this location was perfect. Three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The owner advised me of the stairs and the fact that there was no elevator but this was not a problem for us. The pictures of the condo are very accurate. The condo was very clean although the building common hallways were worn and showing age. The beds are very comfortable. While towels are not included in the rental, sheets were. You were however expected to wash them before you left so it was an early morning two loads of laundry. Laundry soap was not provided to do this so we had to buy our own. I think in hindsight the extra charge for not washing the sheets would have been simpler. The beach area was very accessible and not crowded at all during the week this time of year. The area around the condo is very residential and quiet although there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We used the common area gas grill one night to cook hamburgers and it was fun to eat on the deck listening to the ocean.

A Great Escape

Very nice ocean front condo

Nicely appointed condo in Ocean Sands. Ocean front! Only negative thing was no umbrella on the deck which prohibited us from spending more time there to enjoy sunrise, eat dinner etc. Otherwise, really nice place. The owner was easy to deal with as well.

Great Stay at the Shore

This is the second time we've stayed at this property, and enjoyed it very much. The location can't be beat, the proximity to and views of the beach are great, and having the pool and use of bbq is a big plus. It's a very nice low-rise property in the midst of the hi-rises, and it's a short drive to the activity on the boardwalk.

Ideal Beach Vacation!

This is a beautiful condo, located right on the beach! You can relax on the deck and look at the ocean, morning, noon and night! The walk to the beach is short, and easy. The pool located at the condo unit is very nice, and rarely crowded. The condo itself is very clean, and is ideal for families traveling together. Our families will be returning for years to come!
