We have two BnB's in Tucson and built beautiful cabin units in Tahoe - we have a good idea what to expect or not to. This in mind, Tahoe management has to perform for their heavy commission - cleaning, communication regarding problems or questions; an after hours telephone #. Units to be fully equipped, more than one pan and a knife that cuts or chops. It doesn't matter how many spoons or plates you have, but if you can't prepare or cook?, totally mute. This alone along with cleanliness, not just wiped down, or odor eaters, what management responsible for, or to budget owner with.
When you go to a private home or a condo complex, you would hope other full time residents to know and expect additional traffic or unfamiliar faces. Completely advertised or stated at the gates and on the sign of the name of the complex "vacation rentals" ? This place has issues with people being more than rude, seemingly wishing vacation rentals not allowed in the HOA by laws ?!! Notes and tickets on car regarding where and how parked, or will be towed, parking pass placement, of which two are given - They were On the Dashboard?? Being continuously confronted by angry older people, with things they have no business asking about, weird ? Girlfriends sister came by several times through the week, she goes everywhere with her little 3# chihuahua dog, went to the beach with us, down town etc. Apparently that not ok either, or approved of ?, she also confronted... There are dogs all over the property, and big ones at that !!??
All said, I think you know whether we would recommend this property / complex or go back to one of these "vacation rental" condo complexes, that have nothing but angry people abound, NO, would not!!
A hint/Tip to Sunshine Realty, what they are responsible, Not the "hammered " couches or coffee table, but rather the two partial rolls of TP in the two baths, put another in the vanity - each!!! The Tip is free..
