Dieses Haus ist völlig privat. Obwohl es sich in einem kleinen Küstenviertel befindet, sind die Klippen und Bäume auf dem Grundstück so beschaffen, dass von keinem Fenster oder Deck im ganzen Haus Gebäude oder Straßen in der Nähe sichtbar sind. Die Autobahn ist weit genug entfernt, dass keinerlei Verkehrsgeräusche zu hören sind… Nur das Rauschen der Wellen…

Nur 5 Minuten vom nächsten Lebensmittelgeschäft, 20 bis 30 Minuten von mehreren erstklassigen Restaurants entlang der Küste und nur 45 Minuten von einem Dutzend Weingütern im Anderson Valley entfernt, in denen Verkostungen oft kostenlos sind, wenn Sie nur vorbeischauen ...

Kürzlich renoviert, Wohnzimmer, Küche und Hauptschlafzimmer. Das zweite Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer befinden sich auf einer separaten Etage und wurden nicht renoviert. Das datierte zweite Schlafzimmer ist die einzige Schwäche des Hauses, aber als Eigentümer, die in letzter Zeit ganztägig im Haus gelebt haben, glauben wir nicht, dass es dieses spektakuläre Anwesen stört.

Stunning

It's a beautiful house. You walk in and are greeted by stunning views. The house is a bit dated, but you can tell it was top-of-the-line when it was built. We wanted to do some stargazing on the deck, but honestly, the deck was a bit spooky (weather-worn on a cliff), and we were chickens, so we opted to look out the windows, which was gorgeous.

This is such a beautiful location and the house has an interesting history, too. We would definitely stay there again if there were more than two of us. There's room for a whole family or more than one couple.

Incredible experience all around

There is so much to say about this amazing slice of heaven. The house is small and charming and we LOVED the quaintness of it. The views are everywhere and you feel like you are on top of the world. All of the beds are very comfortable with different types of pillows to choose from (big deal for us!). The only tv is in the primary upstairs bedroom and we only turned it on once to watch a documentary and as a mom I was thrilled there was only a fireplace (that drafts wonderfully and we used the entire time!), windows, games and conversation to be had in the other areas of the house. We traveled with our three teenage children so the downstairs was perfect for them. We spent a lot of time driving to redwood forests and beaches and towns and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Omar was an incredible host and very gracious after we experienced over 24 hours of unexpected travel delays and cancellations. This house was a welcome respite and we already miss it! 10/10 recommend!!!!

The views of this property were spectacular! And the house was really quiet and peaceful. I agree with others that the property could use some updates but the views made up for that by far. We enjoyed the area very much as well.

Fantastic getaway

This was one of the best places we've stayed on the Mendocino Coast. We been renting a week every year for 20 years and this one is right up there with the best. Is it perfect, no, but NO house is and people need to accept that. Great views, clean, comfortable, location, this place has it all. We saw whales from the deck every day, went to Irish Beach several times. It right between Point Arena and Mendocino so you can do a lot of things.

Beautiful and comfortable!!

My friend and I stayed for 4 nights. The home is extremely private, very clean, well stocked kitchen....but the view.. You have the most spectacular view. The beds are very comfortable, pillows are nice and towels were lovely. Mother Nature didn't cooperate but we read and relaxed. I would definitely stay at this home again.

Perfect ocean view

Wow, what a view! It is the main attraction, for sure. This is a very homey, welcoming place and we thought the downstairs was fine. It's a great place for reading, going for walks, and baking. Very thankful that the owners are willing to share this beautiful property.

Ocean view and crashing waves!

We enjoyed a breathtaking view of the ocean from every angle of the home. We initially booked for two nights but were fortunate enough to add an extra night last minute! The weather was great for most of our stay, allowing us to experience both a sunny day and a foggy day. The home has a cozy, cabin-like feel, which I really loved. Its different levels give it a quirky charm. The primary bedroom is located upstairs, just off the kitchen, while the lower bedroom is downstairs and features one queen bed and two twin beds, making it ideal for a family. The property is situated on a cliffside, so, as other guests have mentioned, there was no road noise, and we didn’t see any neighbors, which made it feel very secluded. Although the downstairs area does need some attention, it didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay. For anyone with major mobility challenges, this home could present some difficulties. Overall, this place suited our needs and tastes perfectly! Additionally, our dog loved having access to the private beach!

Beautiful view! Best part of house. Living room very nice as well!! Negatives…..very low to the floor beds. 1 tv. Located in master. No chairs for people to watch tv. Yes the bottom level hasn’t been remolded. That’s ok! But there is absolutely no reason for the terrible stains on the stairs. Very off putting

Incredible Coastline Retreat

My good friend and I had the pleasure of staying in this amazing little getaway right on the coastline. The owner's communication was excellent & the little welcoming touches were so appreciated. We made it to the house just in time to catch the sunset, and it was absolutely worth it. Book this home today, if you want to be up-close & personal with one of the best views in California.

Spectacular views!!!

This house is unbelievable!! #1 are the views of the ocean and shore line - 180 spectacular views! Plenty of places on this property to see the ocean! You feel as if you have no neighbors; there is no road noise - it is at the end of a dead end street. We never went out to eat since we found the kitchen well stocked for those who want to cook in the house. Grocery store is 9 minutes away - a decent grocery. The inside of the house is simple and very comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and wished we had booked it for a lot longer! The owners were very responsive. Book this one! It is well worth it!

180 Degrees of Separation

The photos of the property can't prepare you from the sweeping, 180 degree coastal views you will find upon entering this special property. The separation - from surrounding neighbors, city lights and even your own busy life is complete! Enjoy the surf, the stars, the whales, the foraging deer, the shower and the unspoiled panoramic views. Do a grocery story run and grab some takeout since you're going to want to utilize the well stocked kitchen and not leave the deck! Omar is a great host very interested in making your stay as good as he can with swift and thoughtful communication. There is still some renovating to be done downstairs, but it doesn't take away from this coastal gem! Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing trip!

Amazing Property!

The location of the home is astounding. The views are easily some of the best on the entire coast. The home juts out providing a 180 degree view from inside and out, and with no other homes in the line of sight. The one less than perfect aspect is the condition of the windows. We had to clean the sliders and some of the amazing picture windows. That took about 10 minutes....no big deal. But some of the windows need to be replaced to enhance the views. The owners make it clear that they are attempting to get permits to update the house, which is fine....but we hope they replace a few of the windows. if this is done, the home is well worth the high price. One last point....the master bedroom has a spectacular view. The downstairs bedroom with a queen and two twins in one room is far less appealing. In our opinion, the home is wonderful for a family with a few kids, or just a couple on a romantic getaway. If two adults couples rented this home, the couple staying downstairs should get a nice discount.... Overall, we loved it!

Priceless view

We enjoyed our stay! We loved listening to the ocean, watching the sunset, and sipping champagne. The house is private and quiet, and served as an excellent place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The owner has taken great care to organize a binder that explains everything, and offers wonderful suggestions. The private access to Irish Beach is another fantastic amenity!

On the edge of the world

Nothing could have been more perfect for this weekend stay at Omar's incredible home. Without even one cloud in the sky and daytime temperatures in the upper 70s and nighttime in the 50s, the weather could not have been better. The house is perched seemingly precariously above the rocks and pacific below offering a stunning, uninterrupted vantage point of the most beautiful coast in CA and a white noise to bring one of the best sleeps I've had in awhile. We were fortunate to be there on clear nights and the new moon. The lack of any light pollution seemingly made every star in the universe visible. I echo what every other review has already indicated. Though the downstairs accommodations (where we slept) are dated, there was absolutely no lack of comfort--beds were comfortable, sheets soft and warm, and pillow options with various degrees of firmness. The only drawback would be the sink in this bathroom (only a trickle of water comes out). Shower is cramped for my 6 ft but was perfectly functional to get the job done. From what I understand, eventually Omar will be doing a full remodel of this property. Considering how amazing it already is, it will become truly one in a million property. We certainly hope to return here again one day!

Potential!

The view was wonderful. The furnishings were slightly shabby, but comfortable. The kitchen supplies, were bare minimum. The walkway was shaky- needs to be done and needs better lighting. A law suit waiting to happen! Also could use exhaust fans in the bathrooms. The pictures of the deck furniture were not the same. That being said we had a really nice week- just had to improvise when cooking. Also, because of the risk of fire, we didn’t use the charcoal grill. Add a gas grill- it’s safer. This place has huge potential and despite my remarks we’d rent again!

Spectacular view retreat

The place was very unique. Views were amazing. The walk down to the outside cement patio and watching the sunset was spectacular. Even though it rained and was very windy out on some days the house was very cozy and safe. The private beach was a short walk away and we walked for miles every day. This place was serene and quiet. Very relaxing.

The Best Views

We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed 8 days and it didn't feel like enough. Omar was very helpful with info about the area. The Views from the house and the private beach are amazing! We also really enjoyed being able to hear the waves from the house even with the windows closed.
