Diese in Nord-Illinois einzigartige Villa im spanischen Stil verfügt über fünf Innenhöfe, einen Pavillon für die perfekte kleine Hochzeit und eine Kapazität von 8 Personen zum Schlafen. Eine trockene Cantina aus dem Jahr 1886 mit Funk im Freien ist nur eine der vielen Überraschungen, die Sie bei jedem Blick auf etwas Unerwartetes erleben werden. Dieses Anwesen ist mit schönen Möbeln ausgestattet und bietet einen Gaskamin, eine Bar & Coffee Bar, einen Spieltisch, zwei Fernseher, die in schönen Schränken versteckt sind, viele Sitzbereiche und einen möblierten Balkon auf der oberen Ebene, der über eine Decke von 12 Fuß verfügt. Eine große begehbare Dusche in der oberen Etage und eine Jet-Badewanne im unteren Badezimmer bieten jede gewünschte Selbstpflege.

Great Trip!

We had a small friends get-together for a birthday party and really enjoyed the property. The outdoor spaces are excellent and fit a group of 6-8 well. The arcade was a fun touch!

Exactly As Promised

Everything about Sedona House is exactly as promised and more. The minute you walk in you feel at home. And anything you think that you need has already been provided for you (seriously, I forgot hair spray and as I looked on the bathroom mirror, a can of hairspray was in the reflection behind me!). We couldn’t get over how absolutely perfect the house was for us!

Magical!

My husband and I absolutely loved the house! The house and grounds were so unique and beautiful! We loved the big master suite, the hot tub, the cantina, and the game room the best! We had everything we could need and were very comfortable. We wished we had been able to stay longer. :)

A Fun and Unique Property

We six had plenty of room and a comfortable stay. The decor was amazing, a very fun surprise. Sadly, the weather was too cold to spend time in the gorgeous grounds. The location was good and we were able to explore Rockford.

A wonderful escape

We really weren’t able to stay as long as we wanted to, but Marlene’s place is just fantastic! My 220 something year old kids stayed with me and there’s a hot tub, a bunch of arcade games and so much wonderful outdoor space!

Great find in Rockford!

We needed a meeting point as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Anderson Japanese Gardens. This awesome listing fit the bill perfectly, and allow us to have a private place to retreat to before and after the event. Marlene was the most communicative host I’ve ever had and the property is in fantastic shape.

21st B-Day stay

I had me and a few of my friends stay here for my 21st birthday and it was absolutely amazing!! The place was super clean l, spacious, and had plenty of games and toiletries for our use. Your place was absolutely amazing. The efforts put in to decorate did not go unnoticed. I absolutely love the chessboard. The little nook in the kitchen was a cute touch. SEDONA Celebration

We needed a place that offered good location for activities, safety, entertainment, and we wanted a clean environment. We found this hidden gem that offered everything we needed and even more. The hosts communication was quick and responsive. The simplicity of staying here made us feel at home. When staying at any place you worry about everything prior to getting there. The what ifs and the unexpected surprises. We had zero concerns, worries and we were able to enjoy our time with our son. Pet friendly for our fur pup. We highly recommend this gem to anyone that loves tranquility and comfort. We felt like royalty.

Family Wedding Getaway

We came from other states to be together in the same spot. Attended a family wedding in Rockford, but we kept gravitating back to the Sedona. We especially enjoyed the Cantina and the fire pits. It was so enjoyable to constantly discover hidden areas and so much creative decor! We really want to come back and stay longer.

Magical Home

It looks like Marlene and her creative self has been working very hard for many years to turn this house into the magical, artistic and fun place that it is! Bringing in 60 at the Sedona!

The stunning Sedona of Rockford truly is a hidden gem. I wanted a venue to celebrate a big birthday with my family and closest friends. The primary goal was to host 50 people utilizing the beautiful outdoor spaces this property offered as well as have space for my immediate family to stay the night and enjoy the amenities this home offered. It met every expectation and more!! My guests were in awe at this spectacular home where there’s something unique every where you looked. From the gorgeous furnishings and decor to the fun arcades the kids enjoyed to the outdoor cantina that served as a fun space to listen to music, the Sedona was simply exceptional in every way! I would highly recommend for a party or event 50 people or under. It’s perfect. Marlene the owner was so friendly and accommodating and the property manager, Gia was always a phone call or text away. The Sonoma House captured my attention by the vibrant photos in its listing, but seeing it in person was even more captivating! Calling it "eclectic" is an understatement, but the house has definite style, even swagger! It boasts a confident, distinctive, and captivating style which made it perfect for our group to have a great time.

My husband Charlie and I have four children, and two grandchildren. They are truly my love and my life. Aside from my family, I love creativity and beauty! Working with my team on this property and creating this sanctuary in the city has been one of my most rewarding journeys to date. I am a retired DCFS master trainer. Prior to that, my sculptures were to be found in many of the local stores and businesses including the lobbies of the Old Clock Tower resort. It has been my good fortune to have traveled extensively here and abroad over the years. This Spanish style home is reminiscent of what I have seen with pargeted embellishments and walls that could tell many tales. My vision is to see this, 'The Sedona of Rockford' as a Beacon of Light that inspires us all!
