Unser Haus in South Meadow Black Butte befindet sich in günstiger Lage, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang / eine kurze Radtour von Glaze Meadow entfernt. Das Haus ist auf einem großen Grundstück mit wenig Verkehr.

Das Haus bietet Platz für bis zu 10 Personen (12 mit ausziehbarer Couch im Unterhaltungsraum). Im Obergeschoss befinden sich 3 Schlafzimmer - (i) 2 Etagenbetten mit insgesamt 4 Betten, (ii) 1 Queensize-Bett und (iii) 2 Vollbetten - und ein Badezimmer. Das Hauptschlafzimmer (Kingsize-Bett) und das Badezimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss. Ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss befinden sich ein weiteres Badezimmer und ein separater Unterhaltungsraum mit einer ausklappbaren Couch.

Pools, Whirlpools, asphaltierte Radwege, Golfplätze, Ställe, Tennisplätze, Pickle-Ball-Plätze, ein Frisbee-Fußballplatz, ein Kindererholungszentrum, Fitnessstudios und ein Spa sind bequem mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß zu erreichen. In weniger als 15 Autominuten können Sie in Hoodoo Ski fahren (bei schönem Wetter) oder in der malerischen Westernstadt Sisters einkaufen.

family summer fun

Great house with everything we needed. Able to cook meals for 10 people, Went to pools and hot tub every day. Lots of bike riding. Went paddleboarding and horse back riding. 3 generations of fun. unable to unlock front door one evening, lucky we had side door unlocked. Kids loved the bunk beds! Cook loved the griddle pan for the stove!

Great Family Home

This comfortable Black Butte home is a great choice for families that want plenty of room to accommodate at least six adults and three children. It would probably be comfortable for more, but that is what was in our group. The rooms are as shown in the listing, one king room, one queen room, one two twins room, and a two bunk bed room (4 beds). There is a separate extra room off the kitchen/dining area that has a sofa bed that we did not use but was available. There is one full bathroom downstairs and one full bathroom upstairs. There is a laundry room with a 1/2 bath (toilet and sink) along with the washer and dryer. The living area had room for us to all hang out together and the dining table was large enough for all of us. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, bowls, mugs, glasses, and silverware. There are two separate decks, one with a patio table with four chairs and two lounges. There is also a gas grill. The house is conveniently located between the Glaze Meadow Rec Center/pool, and the South Meadow pool; a pleasant walk to each. If you are looking for a fancy new home to vacation in, leave this one for the families that are looking for original Black Butte charm in a large and comfortable home. We are looking forward to staying there again.

It was a nice layout. Our family has been going to Black Butte for probably 25 times over 50 years for our family reunion. This year we rented three houses for 28 family members. A few things needed attending to:

1.The driveway hadn't been cleared after the ice storm so was difficult to navigate. 2. The garage door opened two separate evenings (on its own after dark) when the family was over at our house..Weird unless a neighbor has the opener or code. Our son was able to close it from the inside after it was open. 3. The garage was bolted shut on garage side when they came in. The wood for fireplace was inside so inaccessible. If the garage door hadn't somehow opened while they were out they never would have been able to use the fireplace. Not good. 3. There was no clear direction list to be found for checkout procedures...like how much of laundry to do, take out garbage, temp setting on thermostat etc. It feels like this home is not normally a VRBO and so wasn't quite guest friendly.

Great quick stay

We stayed for two nights during the heat wave to spend time at the pool! Great house with lots of space! We brought extra box fans to help keep the house cool in the evenings since there was no AC. Great location on a quiet street and very close to Glaz Meadow!

Large comfortable house, minimally stocked

Very poor communication with the owner. He never returned my emails or calls (phone number listed is his office number). Thermostat battery dead and house very cold until we went to the store to get batteries. Unaware of $9/day/person access fee prior to entry to ranch which was expensive. No shampoo, shower soap. Minimal garbage bags, dishwasher soap etc. The house is large and accommodated 8 of us comfortably. Good location close to glaze meadow recreation center.

Family vacation.

The house was layed out nicely. Plenty of space for the 8 adults in the house and on the spacious deck. The kitchen and bathroom’s were nice. A few things that should be considered when looking at this house is that there is no air conditioning (there were a few box fans available). The second thing was the mattress’s on the bunk beds were extremely uncomfortable. It might be fine for children, but not for adults! The third thing is that there is not much of a view…you’re looking at a roadway and homes on the other side. With all this being said, I would recommend this house to a family with children, but not for 8 adults.

Comfortable for 10 to 12 people.

Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the table being large enough for all 12 of us. The two negatives were no air conditioning and no access to the garage. Our bikes and several other equipment items had to be outside.

First time to Black Butte

We really enjoyed our first time in Black Butte. Lots of walking trials nearby and nice indoor pool. We really like the layout of the house, it was great for our group of 9. The living room had plenty of seating room for everyone and we loved all the windows. Would be nice to have a bigger HD TV in the living room though. There was nice big bonus room for the kids to watch TV and play video games. I would recommend foam mattress toppers on the Queen and Kind beds as they were pretty uncomfortable. I had a few inquiries during out stay and the owner was quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay, would stay here again.

Older home in back section of Black Butte.

The house was quite clean but is oddly arranged. It was certainly comfortable enough but could have been better appointed. We found it strange that we could only get certain channels on the small television in the living room but not the channels we wanted to watch (ESPN, TNT) on the large television in the bonus area. Normally that would not be an issue but we were there during the fires so spent most of our time in the house and ended up watching sporting events on a tiny television rather than on the big screen. We also would have appreciated more toilet paper and some trash bags. We ran out of TP quickly and had no trash bags so were required to buy both. Again, not a big deal but we it would have been nice to have had access to such things. I understand that the house is a rental house but the property is dated. It is also fairly dark. We wouldn't return.
