Unser neues Handwerkerhaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern befindet sich im Herzen von Oaklands Rockridge. Es ist ein charmantes, spaziergangsfreundliches Viertel mit zahlreichen Restaurants, Märkten, Boutiquen und vielen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Rockridge bietet eine Mischung aus urbaner Action und dennoch eine freundliche Nachbarschaft mit einem einladenden Gemeinschaftsgefühl. Unser von Gary Parsons entworfenes Haus verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer / 2 Bäder im Obergeschoss (einschließlich einer tiefen Badewanne) und eine lichtdurchflutete Master-Suite mit Gewölbedecke.

Great location, great neighborhood

Convenient to restaurants, shopping and BART (as well as our granddaughter). The kitchen is fully equipped and great for a family meal if you don’t want to go out, although with all the great places to eat nearby there’s no need to cook. Highly recommended

This is about the nearest thing to a perfect VRBO as we've seen. Instant access to BART and SF. Mindblowing array of restaurants on College Ave. Smart house with modern fixtures / heat / lighting with sensible furnishings. Very accommodating host. Great communication.

The listing said parking available in the driveway. There was NO safe parking in the driveway. Street parking was restricted. We found that out after our arrival. The house was modern and well equipped. The listing said there was a pool - no pool. The listing said there was an elevator- no elevator. The listing said there was a desk and a desk chair, it had neither.

Great location, bring small car

Place is located in super convenient area, within walking minutes from some of the best restaurants in town and a few grocery stores. We all know what Oakland is infamous for, there is private parking but you will need a small car to squeeze in. Otherwise, host was very friendly and accommodating to our schedule after we arrived. All in all, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Gorgeous home steps from College Ave

We had a wonderful stay. The house looks historic but feels quite new and beautifully designed inside. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the view out the windows of the primary bedroom was a delight to wake up to. College Ave is a pleasant commercial street just steps away, making it very easy to integrate right into the life of the neighborhood. (There was a little night noise from a bar on a Friday, but not bad.) Off-street parking, good internet connection, and a friendly and responsive host. We'll look here first the next time we're in the area!

Enjoyed Christmas and New Years in Rockridge!

We have stayed at Ed’s lovely home several times and always enjoyed it. Rockridge is a wonderful, vibrant neighborhood. Ed’s home is situated right off College Ave and very close to where our daughter’s family lives. We kitchen is well appointed and TV etc work great. We unreservedly recommend this lovely VRBO.

All new and very clean. Excellent location near all the restaurants and shops of College Avenue, in Rockridge. Ed was a super host, responded quickly every time we contacted him. This was our 2nd stay at this lovely home.

Gem of a home in Rockridge!

We have stayed at Ed’s lovely home multiple times, and each time we comment how much we enjoy it. It is perfect in every way: wonderful neighborhood (restaurants, coffee shops, book stores etc) super comfortable home (clean, nice furnishings, including cookware, appliances, great showers and bathrooms in general, good wifi.) Ed is a wonderful host, super helpful if you have questions but otherwise makes you feel like it’s your home while you’re there. Suffice it to say, we’ve already made our next reservation.

Family Visit in Rockridge

This is a fabulous property. The kitchen and baths are completely updated. The kitchen includes every utensil/pot/pan/dish you need to make dinner. So many don't! It is close to markets, restaurants, and transportation. My family agreed that we would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the host for providing such wonderful accommodations.

From the moment we checked in to Ed's house we knew it was going to be special. Ed was a great host and lived up to who I thought he would be based on our pre-occupancy emails. The house is wonderful, is fully equipped and in a great location just off of College Street nearby many of Berkeley and Oakland's best restaurants. Ed facilitated parking for our rental car by pre-purchasing our parking permits for us for the month we were there. In all this was a 5-star place to stay. No doubt we will be returning!

A Rockridge Jewel

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this lovely Rockridge home. Again, we had a wonderful time! The house is perfectly appointed and so comfortable. Lovely home next to College Ave in ❤️ of. Rockridge

Between the home, which has been totally remodeled and offers every convenience, and the neighborhood which is adjacent to College Ave (restaurants, shops, book stores, BART stop, TJ and coffee shops), we had a wonderful time staying at this VRBO. The TV offerings were also great (important to my husband during baseball playoffs:). Home is full of light and super comfortable. We already have made plans to return. Thank you!

Very comfortable rental

We enjoyed our stay in Oakland. Ed’s home is very comfortable and the location worked out great for us. I enjoyed the kitchen and gas grill outside making quite a few of our meals. The kitchen could use a new skillet. The ones available were a little past their prime. Also, it was very warm when we visited and the beds only have heavy duvets on them. There was only one light weight blanket to use. Most of the nights we needed a little more than a sheet and the duvet was just too warm. Overall, I think this was a gem of a rental. We appreciated how clean the home was. Walkability to the shops, restaurants and Bart station was perfect. Thank you Ed for allowing us to stay in your home. We hope to be back again.

I own our lovely rental home and have lived in the East Bay since 1982. I love the outdoors and am so grateful to have spent over 40 years in such a beautiful place.

I grew up in Southern California and previously worked as a commercial diver in many places around the world (Norway, Borneo, and Papua New Guinea to name a few), before moving to the East Bay. These days, I spend much of my time bike riding through the Berkeley and Oakland hills or surfing various waves around the Bay Area.

I absolutely love Rockridge and I'm sure you'll quickly appreciate why after getting a taste of all that this vibrant neighborhood has to offer!
