Unser einstöckiges Haus mit 5 Schlafzimmern und 5 Bädern wurde gerade komplett renoviert, um die ultimative Ferienwohnung zu werden. Es ist perfekt für große Familien, mehrere Familien und große Gruppen. Stellen Sie sich ein loderndes Feuer im übergroßen Steinkamin mit Blick auf eine Aussicht vor, die Jean Claude Killy einst als "die schönste Landschaft dieser Seite der italienischen Alpen" bezeichnete. Dies ist rustikale Eleganz in einem Bergchalet mit einer beispiellosen Nähe zu Abenteuern. Es gibt viele Versammlungsräume für alle in Ihrer Gruppe und gleichzeitig eine Trennung der Privatsphäre sowie das Nebeneinander verschiedener Interessen, angefangen von Spielzimmerfrivolität bis hin zu ruhiger Entspannung.

Das Haus befindet sich nur 100 Meter vom Eingang zum Purgatory Ski Resort entfernt und ist über den Highway 550 leicht zu erreichen (Allradantrieb ist im Winter NICHT erforderlich). Es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze für Fahrzeuge und Anhänger zur Verfügung. Es gibt möglicherweise keinen idealeren Ort für Sommer- oder Winterabenteuer, da dieses Haus das Epizentrum aller Wander- und Radwege, Allradstraßen, nordischen und alpinen Skigebiete und aller anderen epischen Abenteuer, die Durango zu bieten hat, ist. Im Winter ist der Zugang zu den Skiern über einen 2-minütigen Spaziergang zum Lift 7 einfach und Sie können mit den Skiern zurück nach Hause fahren.

We loved it!

The house was perfect for our group! Lots of room and easy access to the mountain. The views were perfect! The communication with the property manager was great. They were able to answer all questions quickly. The only small complaint we have is that the hot water did not last long at all. But we made it work and would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

The Perfect House for Our Family Vacation!

This lodge was perfect for my family of 12 (including doggo), we had a great stay! The location was perfect, close to a lot of activities yet far from the crowds! The house had everything we could imagine, it was the perfect entertainment spot. My only con is that the lodge could use some deep cleaning and minor cosmetic fixes here and there and outdoor space. All in all, the lodge was perfect, will definitely book again if an opportunity to stay in the area comes up! 9.75/10

Family reunion

Accommodations are great. The outside needs a lot of cleaning up, planters with dead flowers and weeds all around do not present am inviting arrival . The furniture on the patio is falling apart with many of the wooden chairs shaky with paint all worn off. All in all , our stay was so good with kitchen and other amenities outstanding.

Manager attentive when I messaged about no lockbox key, no electricity in bathroom,. House served its purpose for our large family. Home in need of updating and repairs. No floor vents covered kind of dangerous. House was well equipped with household supplies but. Need new frying pans. All in all, it was a good stay

A Nice First-Time Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the home was a great one-time experience for our large group to gather. Be advised, the rental advertises as 4 bedrooms when in reality it is only 3 private bedrooms (they are nice!), with the other beds in common areas. If we had more than 3 couples in our group, this location would not be best. PROS: Lots of space! Awesome views! Very clean and very comfortable beds. Kids loved the game room and were busy most of the day when not playing the snow. Kind neighbor helped us shovel. We enjoyed the large dining table, kitchen had more amenities than expected, and were thankful for the yummy shampoo and soap provided. CONS: Fireplace did put out more smoke than expected on every use (flue was originally shut). All but one dart for dartboard were broken upon arrival, along with a few pool table sticks also broken making only 3 usable. One main entrance door perfect for leaving snow boots and coats was permanently locked (key wouldn't turn). Due to winter conditions we had, more than one snow shovel and a bag of salt could have been useful - we resorted to using a broom and fireplace shovel as extras. But the biggest con was LOTS of flies in windows - mostly in game room and master bedroom. Like, dozens upon dozens of flies to the point we ended up buying fly swatters. We did enjoy our stay overall and think this would be an ideal location for families looking to ski.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the overall size of the Last Run Resort. However, the overall condition of the place was not great. We cook a lot on our ski vacations and found nearly all the pots, pans and baking sheets were rusted, stained and in poor condition. Additionally, there was fly tape hanging all over the property and the layout was wonky. Consider putting curtains over the old store doors between the main property and unit 2. There was also a shortage of sheets and lots of lights out.

Ski, eat, games (ping pong, pool, video), sleep, repeat. The views of the Needles range from the 8ft windows is amazing; and after a quick lesson from on site maintenance man on building a proper fire so there is no smoke; the 2 beautiful fireplaces burned non-stop. With all parking lots full at Purgatory, having private parking for our 6 vehicles was fantastic. The walk to the lifts was very short, and you could actually ski back to the house.I would highly recommend this house for large or small groups. Looking forward to another stay next year.

Christmas vacation

Easy to rent, find location of rental, & communicating with property manager when necessary. Nice and close to Purgatory resort & easy walk to Purgatory’s shuttle. Hardly needed to get into our car to go anywhere. Very spacious accommodations. The house was, however, very rundown & needs a complete renovation. There were ceiling leaks in the family room.

Spacious and Comfortable

We loved the space at the house, ample parking, plenty of bathrooms. Just wish it had more private rooms for the amount of space the house had. However we were able to make the bunks work out for our group. We had a mini family reunion here, and the space was perfect.

Spacious and beautiful

5 stars on inside amenities and space and 5 stars for great location. Not exactly ski in ski out as the full property description stated. Still 100 yard walk to bunny slopes and lift 7. Only drawback was the iced over driveway so we couldn't park directly in front of the main doors. I notified propertyowner who said he would send someone to salt or sand or scrape the driveway but no one came. Theres a perfect driveway literally in fron of the house but was buried under a foot of snow. I swung around the back of the condo for a different approach to parking and got a nail in my tire. 26 miles away to thenearest tire shop. Asidefrom a lack of driveway/parking issues i would give this awesome place a 5 and come back again for sure

Fabulous game room for kids to sleep and hang out away from adults. Huge space oddly pieced together, some very cold. Smoky fireplace. Hot showers for all 13 of us. Mice were a problem. Noisy highway but convenient location. Great for big group.group

July in Purgatory

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family group of 8 adults and 6 kids. This was a fun place to stay with lots of nice space and comfortable furnishings. The cooks loved having spices in the cupboard, condiments in the fridge and pans big enough to cook for a large group. There were plenty of things to do in the area. We enjoyed hiking (the trail head for Purgatory Flats was almost right across the street), mountain biking, horseback riding, playing in the beautiful lake that was right across the street and playing games in the cabin. The ping pong table and pool table were a big hit with our group. The big dinning room table was great for meals and the card games and board games that went on into the late night hours. The foosball table needs a little work. Several in our group were surprised upon arrival to learn that the lodge was a commercial building converted into a vacation property. So the exterior of the building did not wow us, but the interior was nice. The floor plan was a little wonkie because the building had been repurposed as a lodge. A tub faucet was running during our stay but the repair man was at our door to fix the problem when we checked out. Patio BBQs need to be cleaned. Overall, the space worked very well for us and we enjoyed our stay.
