Berry Hall Cottage ist einfach wunderschön! Es ist an die Gower House Berry Hall aus dem 18. Jahrhundert angeschlossen und liegt versteckt im ruhigen Weiler Berry. Die preisgekrönten Strände von Port Eynon, Rhossili und Oxwich erreichen Sie nach nur 10 Fahrminuten. Das Berry Hall Cottage wurde erst kürzlich zu einem sehr hohen Standard renoviert, wobei die ursprünglichen Merkmale beibehalten wurden. Es bietet Platz für vier Personen in einem Kingsize- und einem Doppelzimmer. Es gibt zwei Badezimmer, ein schönes Familienbadezimmer mit begehbarer Massagedusche und separater Badewanne sowie ein eigenes Duschbad neben dem Kingsize-Schlafzimmer. Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über eine schöne offene Wohn- / Küche / Esszimmer, die wunderschön präsentiert wird und den ursprünglichen Steinkamin hat, eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, einen großen Plasma-TV und DVD, zwei sehr bequeme Sofas, einen Esstisch für vier Personen. Draußen gibt es eine sehr private und geschützte Terrasse mit Tisch, Stühlen und Grill, die die Nachmittagssonne einfängt. Perfekt, um an warmen Abenden zum Essen ein kaltes Bier oder ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Geschäfte und lokale Einrichtungen in der Nähe, Parkplätze für zwei Autos abseits der Straße, Zentralheizung, gut erzogene Hunde nach vorheriger Absprache willkommen (gegen geringe Gebühr). Perfekt für Paare und Familien, die einen erholsamen Urlaub oder einen actionreichen Strandurlaub in der Natur suchen. Kurzurlaub außerhalb der Hochsaison (min 3 Nächte)

A very nice and very well-kept apartment. Everything is very clean and very lovingly furnished. The landlords are very nice and very helpful. A few minutes' drive away are the most beautiful places. Absolute recommendation.

New Year getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Berry Hall cottage. It provided us with the rural retreat that we needed. The cottage is lovely. The living space is a bit small so two couples might find the set-up a little cosy. For a couple, the accommodation was perfect. The bedroom is lovely and the fact there is both an ensuite and a family bathroom was a real boon. The kitchen was well-equipped with a very good oven, along with a fridge-freezer and a microwave.Mark and Wendy were on hand if we needed anything and were the perfect hosts.The area has lots of wonderful areas for walking and there are some great pubs and cafes around. Options for shopping are a bit limited so it would be as well to bring your own supplies if fully self-catering.

Fabulous cottage.

My husband and I (and our small dog) have just enjoyed a wonderful holiday. The cottage is situated in a lovely peaceful location, perfect for exploring coast and countryside. Very clean, warm and cosy with comfortable sofas and beds. Perfect! We weren't ready to come home and hope to go back again soon.

Cosy cottage in a great spot for exploring south Gower

A lovely warm cottage with everything you could possibly need. Comfy sofas and beds, well equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses. Enclosed, dog friendly yard. Wendy was very welcoming. Lots of great walks straight from the door, handy for all the delightful beaches. Very rural location but local shop less than a mile. Would stay here again.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area

The cottage was very clean and well equipped with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It is in a pleasant quiet location just a short drive from local ameneties and well situated for key visitor spots. The WiFi was excellent, the kitchen has everything one could need with the bonus of a dishwasher and washing machine (tablets and powder supplied) and the beds are my most comfortable. The owners really have put a lot of thought into everything you might need here, including leaving tea, coffee, milk and fresh eggs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Wendy and Mark!

Lovely cottage

Berry Hall cottage is a beautiful place to stay. The little gardens are nice and private and secure enough to let our little dog wander around. Inside is a little gem. Fully equipped kitchen, just like being at home. Everything was spotlessly clean and well looked after. The bedrooms are a nice size with plenty of cupboard space. Beds were very comfy and a good size. The bathroom is big and the bath is what you call a proper size bath! The Gower has some beautiful beaches and this cottage is a perfect base to explore. It is a rural area but only a 5-10 minute drive to the nearest beach. It was lovely to meet Wendy and Mark who are at hand if you need anything. The eggs and milk that greeted us on arrival was a nice gesture. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay.

A peaceful rural cottage.

Had a good week at Berry Hall Cottage. Rural location short drive to some lovely beaches , Port Eynon & Rhossilli. We found the cottage to be comfortable & spotlessly clean. The only comment that I would make is that the downstairs living room/kitchen area was a little cramped for 4 adults & 2 dogs. This would not have been an issue if the weather had been kinder to us.

Lovely Welsh Cottage

Lovely property. Nice secluded outside space. Rural setting on a lane with a few other private properties and farm. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Bedrooms were spacious and having one en-suite and another separate bathroom made it feel very luxurious. The cottage is only a 10 minute drive to a beautiful beach and coastal walks. Directions for local inland walks were in the information book compiled by the owners. I feel a return visit coming on.

Wonderful break from the city

The cottage was fantastic. We had complete privacy but Mark and Wendy were easy to contact and attentive hosts, even providing a makeshift sheet for the travel cot since I forgot to pack one. The safety gates for the stairs was an invaluable extra touch, especially given the clambering baby we had in tow. We had never been to Gower before and would love to visit again, it's a lovely little corner of Wales. The location couldn't be better. You can drive to Rhossili and other beaches in about 10 minutes, even pop over to Swansea in half an hour if you want. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage -great location

On arrival we were greeted by the owner outside the property. Once inside we found it was clean, comfortable and with a very well equipped kitchen. It is very well located for most of the Gower peninsula whilst being remote enough to be lovely and quiet. We will be back.

Brilliant little cottage, perfect size for us. Great location, Wendy & Mark were lovely. When I got there it was late, he helped me out with the essentials, eggs, milk, beer. Would def stay again when we bring the parents down!

Lovely cottage in a good location to explore the south coast of Wales

Cottage was lovely with lots of space upstairs. The bedrooms were fantastic especially for two couples or friends. Outside areas were slightly spoilt by neighbours but you are on farmyard land. Did have a big tractor outside the bedroom windows one day. Shame about the rules of the wood burner, I would like that you could use at anytime of the year depending on the temperature rather than the month. Would have appreciated the cottage heating on for our arrival. Very comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. Slept really well every night. We were very lucky that even though pubs and restaurants could only cater for eating and drinking outside, the local pub, a short drive away The Ship Inn had under cover tables with heating. Several other good pubs in short driving distance too. Cottage had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen, toiletries provided, lovely soft white towels, excellent little touches but a few too many cleaning rules! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back and recommend to others.

Early Spring Break

We had a very enjoyable week. The cottage was beautifully situated in quiet countryside yet there was a local store about 5 mins drive away where we could get everything we wanted. It was was a traditional cottage, very tastefully converted with all mod cons. We had some lovely walks along the coast and in the unspoilt countryside and had some tasty meals, sitting outside local cafes. We highly recommend the cottage to anyone who wants to get away from the rat race.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location

We had a wonderful spring break in this cottage. It was well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The outside patio was a lovely sun trap and we were only a short ride from both Oxwich Bay and Rhossili. We really enjoyed our stay in the Gower and will be back.

Beautiful Berry Hall Cottage in Gorgeous Gower

Myself, husband and 14 year old son stayed in Wendy and Mark's lovely cottage for a week. It was absolutely perfect for our family. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area was well laid out, cosy and had all the necessary amenities. Also very happy to find a dishwasher, washing machine, DVD player and Netflix! Both bedrooms were spacious (a king size bed with a little en suite and a roomy double) and the main bathroom was huge. It was nice to have the availabilty of both a shower cubicle and a bath. The latter is useful for guests staying with little ones I would imagine. We were also grateful to have a little evening sunshine on the private patio area and a BBQ is available. We tended to use our own disposable ones on top just because of the current Covid situation. Wendy and Mark were very thorough with cleaning and the availability of cleaning products and we were reassured by the rigorous procedures they have in place. The coastline of Gower is just so beautiful and this was a great location from which to explore. We would recommend the cottage and area to anyone.

We have two self catering cottages, Berry Hall Cottage and Berry Garden Cottage, both sleeping 4 people within the grounds of Berry Hall, an 18th Century Gower farmhouse, surrounded by farmland , ancient green lanes, tracks and woodlands.

Berry Hall is tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Berry, just 6 minutes drive from the award winning beaches of Port Eynon, and 10 minutes from Rhossili and Oxwich.in the heart of the beautiful Gower Peninsula the UK's first area of natural outstanding beauty, making one of the Berry Hall Cottages the perfect location to enjoy all that Gower has to offer.
Accessed via a single track farm lane and situated ¾ from the nearest B road. Well behaved doggy guests welcome, with doggy towels and use of a Mud Daddy dog wash with shampoo provided.

Berry Hall is a small holding with chickens, horses and sheep. We have the only flock of Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep on Gower (the cutest sheep in the world) , and sell fresh free range eggs to our guests.

The 34 miles of spectacular coastline is easily accessible from secluded smuggler coves to award winning beaches with long stretches of beautiful sand and sand dunes. For the outdoor enthusiast Gower has so much to offer with a huge range of water sports in the calmer bays to some of the best surfing beaches in the UK. For walkers the options are endless with miles of superb walking coastal walks or walks along ancient green lanes tracks and woodland. Gower is also perfect for hang gliding, paragliding, cycling, archery and horse riding.
Wildlife and bird enthusiasts will not be disappointed with many opportunities to see dolphin, porpoise and seals along the coast and daily sightings of peregrine falcons, red kite, buzzard and choughs on the moors and cliffs.
Gower is a land of myth and legend with links to King Arthur, Knights and smuggling tales and has several castles to explore around the coast.

Berry Hall cottage is attached to the 18th Century Gower House 'Berry Hall' and is just lovely! Refurbished to a very high standard whilst maintaining original features, Berry Hall Cottage sleeps four in a king-size and a double bedroom. There are two bathrooms, a lovely family bathroom with walk in power shower and separate bath and an en suite shower room off the king size bedroom. The downstairs has a lovely open plan living/ kitchen/ dining room, which is beautifully presented and has the original stone fireplace, a very well equipped kitchen, large smart TV and DVD, two very comfortable sofas, dining table to seat four.
The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob and oven /grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, coffee machine (Nepresso) fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher
Outside there is a very private and sheltered patio with table chairs and BBQ, which catches the afternoon sun. There is a further gravelled south facing garden to the front of the cottage leading from the patio with further seating which is ideal for having breakfast outside or just relaxing for the day also perfect for sitting out drinking cold beers or a glass of wine with a meal on warm evenings.
Shops & local amenities close by, off road parking for two cars, fully central heated, well behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement (subject to small charge). Perfect for couples & families needing a relaxing break or an action packed countryside beach holiday. Two nights and short stays (Nov to early May)
