Quick get away!
Came out for a weekend stay with my family, had a great stay. House was right on the water and very clean. Beds were comfortable and clean. Backyard was perfect for our toddler. Great for our small pups 🐶 would stay again.

Disappointing
When we arrived it was abnormally hot in Oceanside. We rented this unit without AC but it was 85 degrees inside. That’s on us. However, the beach view window was broke and covered with cardboard. The TV was broken…they did replace the TV the next day. The place was just dirty and disappointing. A very bad start to our week stay in Oceanside. After complaining about the property we were transferred to the special relocating unit. We ended up being moved to a hotel for 2 days and we’re told they would find us a new location to finish our vacation. Two days past and no call. We called them and they argued with us and told us they would not be helping us anymore. We payed to move to another hotel and I filled out another complaint, online on VRBO. We we’re called within the our and told they were going to take care of us and refund our stay. They did pay for a third night in the hotel we were in but also said they were going to help us cover the lodging costs for our stay. I’ve submitted invoices and credit card statements so we’ll see if we actually get reimbursed. Bottom line, we spent 3 of our 5 days moving from place to place. Very disappointed in our stay in Oceanside this time.

We were looking for an ocean view and beachfront stay and we got both of these things ... sort of. We could see the ocean from inside the rental, but since the parking was between the property and the ocean, we had to look through cars. This wasn't terrible, but not exactly a clear view. As for beachfront, as stated above, there is parking and then an access road/bike path between the property and the ocean. Also, not terrible, just not exactly what it looked like online. And, there is no accessible beach in front of this property; it is a short walk to gain access to a beach. In front of the property is a retaining jetty and no real beach. Generally this is a very peaceful location and completely comfortable place to stay. If you are expecting to panoramic ocean views and to walk right out onto the beach from you deck, keep looking.

Disappointed!!!
The building and the location were amazing. However, the customer service was horrendous. When we arrived we were unable to contact them regarding the internet. Hours later they sent a text that had nothing to do with the issue. This was huge because I still had to work and I work online, so trying to relax our first evening was not so easy as I was worried I could not work the next morning. Finally I found an actual phone number to call. I called and the person says "we got your text".... I had to explain that they should have replied and let me know they got my information and were trying to fix it rather than ignore me. The only messages I received regarding this issue was the wifi code, but it kept saying connected without internet. Eventually the night before leaving they send someone out to the property and the result was him saying it was out. No solution no compensation and no concern for me having to work as I mentioned to them several times that each morning I needed to work online. I was so disappointed in their level of professionalism and their lack of communication. I repeatedly asked for the manager to contact me and well I have yet to hear anything. They were happy to charge me all this money though!!!!

Beautiful Oceanside Rental
This was the perfect beach rental for our party of 5 with a small dog (grandparents, parents, and a young teenage). Located right on the Strand (one way, one lane street), it was recently remodeled and was adorable, clean, and convenient. We loved watching and listening to the waves every evening and every morning. The spacious, fenced backyard provided lots of room for our dog and ample seating for us. We did not know but figured out to lock the unit, you push the gear symbol on the door lock. We highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again.

Tons of room for our dog to play in the safety of an enclosed location with plenty of lounging for guests. Inside, upgraded beautifully! Ice maker keeps ya busy but works awesome! Comfortable beds and towels/ linens provided. All appliances worked perfectly and kitchenware in great shape. Actual beach is a bit of a walk but the waves crashing was very zen. All in all highly recommended location for a small family and dogs. Thank you!

It was wonderful to watch and listen to the waves. The sunsets were amazing. We had an issue with the door lock. The management company was able to remotely let us in and maintenance was there in 10 minutes and replaced the entire lock. Definitely will come back again. The only downfall was the parking situation. The parking when all 3 units are rented, blocks our view.

A Great Home Away From Home!

Reviewer Comments: The property was clean, the kitchen contained all the essentials to make delicious meals, and it was easy walking distance to conveniently located restaurants (The Flying Pig), breweries (Breakwater Brewing), and a well-stocked minimart (Wisconsin Market & Spirits). I loved starting every morning with a walk along the beach to grab a cup of coffee at The Cup Coffee. I had only 3 very minor issues: (1) the fireplace wasn't working, (2) the beach view from the front window is blocked by cars parking for neighboring units, (3) the backyard doesn't have enough light for nighttime and the heater doesn't provide much heat. However, the management was always very quick to respond to any and all inquiries. In all, I would definitely return.

Misleading Advertisement
Check in was easy and property management communicated promptly, but did not resolve all concerns associated with the property. PROS: 1. Beds were comfortable 2. The property was walking distance to the public beach and pier. Easy access to restaurants, and grocery store. CONS: Upon arrival we noted that the photos posted for the listing didn't accurately represent the condition of the condo. Despite beautiful kitchen appliances, workmanship in the condo felt very unfinished and rough (gaps in the tile, fireplace mantle, walls were rubbed down in some places, pantries wouldn't always close flush). It feels like a work in progress. 1. Interior appearance (beds were not nicely made as in photos), lacked basic furniture pieces such as night stands, towel rods, a television was hung severely tilted and unable to adjust, master blinds were broken and hung to the floor (we were unable to open them to use the window or enjoy the view). 2. Outdoor seating/patio furniture was missing cushions and wasn't organized as in photos. 3. Front windows and the guest bedroom window panels would literally fall out of the frames when trying to slide open. 4. Zero condiments, coffee, tea, etc were provided. There was a spice rack, however some of the spices were not usable as they had become wet at some point and were subsequently ruined. While not a huge issue, every other rental we have used has provided basic packaged condiments. 5. Expect the carport to be filled with cars, which impedes the beach front view. Due to traffic in front of the property, expect noise and difficulty entering/exiting. 6. While the property is beachfront, the tide rises to the boulders most of the day which means you should expect to walk out to the nearby public beach. Do not expect to use the beach directly across from he property. 7. If you plan to travel with children, be aware that there are many sharp corners on the kitchen counters, and at the fireplace. Overall, the condo served its purpose. Spaces were often quite a tight fit and narrow. We brought our own beach equipment. Should the property offer an umbrella, chairs, and boogie boards, (without cost) it would be nice. The condo was functional, but lacked a more personal touch that we experienced at other rentals.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time. The house was right across the street from the ocean and the sound was amazing. The house was clean and roomy and had everything we needed for a great time.

A wonderful retreat on the Strand
The property was just as advertised and worth revisiting for our family of four. We had a pleasant stay and found the property management and location perfect during this time of COVID-19 and social distancing (contactless check-in, aired out rooms, etc.). The ground-level unit is nice, with two bedrooms and a modern kitchen. The layout and sliding doors worked well for putting the kids to sleep and hosting a couple guests in the backyard. The location is hard to beat, with the ocean thirty feet away and the beach and pier a few minutes walking. The only negative one could mention is the 6-spot parking out front detracting from the otherwise beautiful view. We were very grateful for the checkout policy encouraging us to enjoy our last morning at the beach, rather than spending that time tidying everything up,. As a small piece of advice I would mention to guests checking-in is that the electronic lock is a little finnicky and you may need to jiggle the handle first. The property management was quick to answer our call though and willing to send someone out to the property. The last thing to be aware of is inside the unit itself there is very bad reception, at least with T-Mobile. That's just one more reason to be out on the beach,
