A frustrating experience
We had several issues with our stay, but the primary issue we experienced was with the response of the property management company, Exclusive 30a. It began with check in when after repeated calls & texts trying to obtain our Watercolor passes before 5pm check in, we learned that the AC unit on the second floor was broken and needed replaced. Things break all the time, but the response of the property manager was unacceptable. The range of responses we were told went from: the new unit could be replaced that same day to portable AC units being brought in, which lead to 3 units being delivered even though we were using 4 bedrooms upstairs, then commercial grade blowers when a 4th portable unit couldn’t be found.
Other issues: a 3ftx4ft acrylic picture fell on my wife and I in the middle of the night while we were sleeping (it was installed with one screw into one drywall anchor).
With new parking rules in 2024, it would have been nice to know this in the listing of the house, rather than finding out in an email two days before arrival. We wouldn’t have chose a house in this location if we knew the parking situation would be different from our previous stays in Watercolor.
We will not return to this house again and will make sure our next Watercolor trip will be in a house not maintained by Exclusive 30a.
On a positive note, the house has a wonderful outside area with the pool/spa, outdoor covered seating with TV, and grill island.
