Wie auf der Lakefront Bargain Hunt von HGTV zu sehen: Renovation (Staffel 2, Folge 10 "Making Memories on Lake Martin")

Bist du bereit für etwas Fußball ???Wir sind nur 40 Minuten vom Jordan Hare Stadium entfernt. Das Sitzen um unsere Feuerstelle ist der perfekte Ort, um die kommenden Herbstnächte zu verbringen, die Blätter an den Bäumen zu beobachten und über den See nachzudenken.

Es gibt keine Schritte auf unserem Grundstück von innen oder außen. Es ist auf 1,3 Hektar in einer ruhigen Bucht ideal zum Kajakfahren und Schwimmen, aber nur wenige Minuten zu großen Gewässern und einem Bootsanleger im DARE Park.

Für die Kinder gibt es ein Trampolin und einen Schaukel-Sandstrand mit Spielzeug. Wir haben zwei Jugendkajaks, ein Erwachsenenkajak und ein Stand-Up-Paddleboard. Diese stehen für jedermann zur Verfügung. Ihre Kaution wird nach Maßgabe des Zustands des Hauses, aber auch nach Maßgabe des Zustands dieser Gegenstände erstattet.

Im Inneren finden Sie einen offenen Grundriss mit Blick auf den See und den Hinterhof von den meisten Zimmern. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein Kinderbett. Wenn Sie morgens aufwachen, ist das erste, was Sie sehen, der See, der vor Ihrem Fenster glitzert. Im Master-Bad finden Sie eine Badewanne. Es gibt auch eine große Dusche mit Regenduschkopf und Doppelwaschtisch.

Auf der anderen Seite des Hauses befinden sich drei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Das Gästezimmer (Shore Thang) verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit Blick auf den See. Es ist in einem nautischen Thema dekoriert.

Der Schlafraum ist in einem "Lost Boys" -Thema mit bezaubernden Etagenbetten für Boote und einem Tipi eingerichtet.

Das Mädchenzimmer ist mit einem Meerjungfrau-Thema dekoriert und verfügt über ein Twin-Daybed mit Twin-Trundle sowie einen Futon, der sich zu einem Doppelbett zusammenfalten lässt.

Die Küche verfügt über Sitzgelegenheiten auf einer Insel sowie einen Esstisch. Draußen finden Sie eine riesige Backporch mit einem großen Abschnitt zum Nickerchen und Genießen der Seebrise. Vergessen Sie nicht unseren Kanulicht- und Kanufischteich.

The best

This is our second time to stay here. We absolutely love this place. We used the kayak and paddle board and brought our owe paddle board. We so enjoyed our time here that we are already picking a week to come next year. The owners are the best. Due to the storm Debby we could not drive back to Florida. Great place!

We loved this property, the location on the lake was close to town and the marina, which was convenient since we brought a boat. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard! I only deducted a star from the accuracy of the listing because the beach has worn away a bit and could use some more sand. I have a toddler that enjoys playing in the sand, so I wish there was more of a beach area. We also did not see a gas grill, only charcoal, so prepare for that if you’re going to cook. Other than that, we loved this house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake!! :)

Excellent lake house in a quiet area

We really enjoyed our week long stay, the house is located in quiet location. Our kids could swim right off the dock with no worries of boat traffic, perfect place for paddel boarding, and kayaking, property was well kept and clean. Looking forward to revisiting in the future.

Great Mother's Day Getaway

We had three generations of ladies from our family on our traditional getaway. This property was perfect for us! It had beautiful outside areas and a great view of the water. It provided room for everyone to have separate activities and be together. We would stay again!

Great Stay on Lake Martin

After 9 years of family trips to the lake at the same property that is no longer available, we had to find a new home. This vacation rental proved to be a perfect replacement. It's location on the lake at the end of finger provided calm waters for kids (and adults) to play in the swim area on the property. There are 2 waverunner docks that were a nice extra so we didn't have to fool with tieing up every time. There is a marina a 5-10 ride that has 24 hour fuel pumps. Dadeville is a 10 minute drive for shopping. The boat ramp is 5 minutes away. By the boat ramp is a park with a huge beach area with perfectly calm water, flush toilets, picnic areas (covered and uncovered) with grills and a very nice play area for children. The home was well stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen was well stocked as well. The owner's were very responsive to messages and communication through all aspects of the rental period, both before and during our stay. The space was comfortable, everything worked as it should. I would say you can't go wrong with this vacation rental.

Quaint and Quiet

This was the perfect house for our little group. The outdoor area was the perfect spot to relax after a day in the water and the huge yard allowed the kids to run. Huge bonus there were no stairs to climb. The neighbors all seemed very nice and we really enjoyed all the neighborhood pups.

New Year Get-A-Way

We stayed for the weekend for a new years get away and had a great time. Even though it was too cold to swim, the property was great for the kids to run around and play. The play set was a nice bonus! The home was great to house both our families and we loved the open concept so we could all be together. The power went out at one point (no fault of anyone or owner) and the owner/manager reached out to check on us. Would recommend and would def stay again!

LSU & golf road trip

Property was great and exactly as described. Was travelling with 5 other friends from college and we had more than enough room. No issues at all with the property owners , they communicated with me and made everything very easy. Highly recommend Stillwater's Country club which was only 15 minutes away, beautiful course.

The house is beautifully decorated with everything you need for your stay. The covered porch and flat yard is amazing. Canoe, kayaks, beach area and fire pit were a plus! Definitely will stay here again!

Verbesserungswürdig: Lage

It was nice but…

We love Lake Martin and make this trip annually. We normally stay in cabins at the state park but those are hard to book. So this year we decided to all get a house to stay. Overall it was a good time. The host is super with her communication. On the other hand there were a few minor things that weren’t great. When we arrived it was storming. So this place has a huge yard and plenty of space. But apparently very annoyed neighbors. Within five minutes of pulling up and not properly taking the boats to the launch about a mile down the road and riding the boats back in a storm we just pulled them along the edge of the street, again very adequate space to do this. Immediately I was notified by the host we had to move our vehicles. So be aware the neighbors aren’t friendly understanding and apparently keep a close watch on you while you’re there. There are cameras, we didn’t have anything to hide so this was not a bother for us. Every couple that stayed, and we used all of the rooms and beds each complained that the beds were terribly uncomfortable. We had some adults in the bunks and the mattresses squish down and you have two by fours that run along your back. So no adults children only for the bunk room. The kitchen refrigerators stainless steel was very dingy along with the trash can, living room rug, and outdoors couch. It could all stand to be replaced or better maintained. The air conditioner unit automatically bumps itself back to 76 every six hours, so when you wake up the next morning it’s very hot and through out the time we spent there we had to constantly adjust it back to a cooler temperature. This does not reflect the property itself but our entire family got swimmers itch from the slew located at the property. Each one of us all went home with bites and whelps covering us. We stayed during the late summer and fall. Overall we enjoyed our stay but will probably look for another property next time that suits our family size a little better and that we don’t have to worry with conflict from grumpy neighbors. The host is great and this would be great for a smaller group.
