Great little cabin

Comfortable. Well equipped, 5 minutes to ski Attitash and about 15 to cute North Conway Main Street. Great setups for places to sleep and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that might have added to the cabin was a grill outside, but we knew that going in so no big deal. Beautiful area. The driveway is steep so be prepared to drive carefully in snow! Great stay!

Great Stay but...

First I want to start off saying that the location was great and the size of the home was more than ample for our needs. It was a great atmosphere and very relaxing for my family and very convenient. But, when we arrived, the trash and recycling had not been removed and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. This was unacceptable for a place that charges a bunch of money in fees for the weekend and put a damper on our stay. The rest of the home seemed clean but we were always just wondering what else was not cleaned properly as the trash/dishwasher seemed like easy cleaning items. I tried to get the full cleaning fee returned to me as this was unacceptable, but somehow these unclean parts were itemized as "Trash and dishwasher" and I was returned, what I would call, a very small portion of the fees I paid. The property manager kept telling me that they could come "take care of it", but in all honesty in my opinion the damage had been done and it was pointless to have someone come in and do more cleaning, after they were supposed to have already cleaned the place prior to our arrival. I would love to stay here again as we did like the place, but if I am paying a bunch of fees and walk into a place that I just don't know if it was cleaned properly or not, I don't think I would want to pay the money to stay.

Prefect!

We loved our stay at Saco River Chalet it is located at the edge of the White Mountain National Park which is beautiful with spectacular trails and views. Just a day trip to Portland, Canada and Vermont. We loved the layout of the home with deck, kitchen and living room on top floor and the sleeping areas are separated with a bathroom, prefect for 2 families. Very quite, clean and kitchen well appointed! Thank You for a wonderful vacation!

Not for a family.

No air conditioning, after many attempts to reach property management no responses worth stating. Would not engage with me to discuss any issues. No bureaus for clothing, limited privacy from room to room, you will have to live with suitcases open on floor. Very disappointed in Vacasa and house set up. If you have no AC, then you have to have fans that can go to high speed. Left two days early after realizing no one would get back with us. Not for a family, open suitcases on the floor is what you will be living out of for the duration.

This chalet looks small but it has more than enough room for our family 6.

Multiple sleeping areas, two twins and a double in one room with a bath and oversized walk-in in shower. Master Bedroom and adjacent room with trundle bed whiuch double great as a kids play room (we had a 1 yr old and 8 yr old) plus not one but 2 decks. Living room was nice too as was well appointed kitchen.

Perfect white mountain chalet

The chalet on the Saco was cozy, clean and comfortable. The location is central to the entire Mount Washington valley and the decor is perfect northwoods getaway. We will absolutely be back!

Clean. Had all amenities we needed. Good internet and TV (Netflix, tv channels and others included). Steep driveway (there is a bucket of salt by the entrance) but we were lucky, no snow. Loved being close to ski slopes, rather close to (the !) Bretton Woods! , town, restaurants and shops.

Perfect place to relax

The property is spacious and well maintained. It is located up on the side of hill facing the saco river. A short walk to the private beach. Close to all the attractions. What more could you ask for !

Little to no communication from property management

What a disappointment! Our family was really looking forward to our time away at what appeared to be a really cute cabin. Clearly the cabin was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The floors were covered in filth, showers had hair and left over soap in them; the outside furniture was covered with dirt, dead bugs and tree debris. We had to clean them ourselves just to sit in the chairs. Never used the tables. I tried call the property management on arrival and was redirected a few times before I was able to speak with a live person. I made her aware of my concerns and was promised a call back. I did not receive a return call until late the next day. At that time, I was told that nothing was going to be done due to the fact that I had no proof of the condition of the house. I have plenty of pictures to show the condition of the house when we arrived. The cabin and reviews prior to our stay were the reason we selected to stay here. We own property and could never imagine not following through with a concern of one of our renters. Terrible.

Amazing weekend getaway!

This property is beautiful and very clean. It has all the amenities you could possibly need. It is spacious yet cozy, and the sound of the river was so soothing. The house is in a great location near Conway so there are plenty of things to do in the area. We’re already planning another trip here because we all loved it so much. Can’t wait!

This was a great place for our family to stay. I would recommend to my friends. Very clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again. You should put better curtains in the bedroom and bathroom as they did not give much privacy. Nails sticking up in the kitchen floor that need to be hammered down.

Nice end of summer getaway.

Nice stay for our family of four. Short walk to a river beach which had signage that a pass is required. A gentleman who was taking care of a house nearby told us that our house should have passes but generally it’s fine to go the beach, it was great to hang in the river given it was very hot during our stay. There is also a nice hiking trail within walking distance. Local brewery and cider place were some nice outdoor places to visit.

Comfortable Cabin

The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of five to spread out and relax. Located near many attractions with neighborhood access to river across the street. No grill, A/C, or river view (trees block view).

Cozy. Great Location.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is reasonably private in a quiet neighborhood (you rarely hear anybody). The Saco river is across the street. You can hear the river, but in summer the leaves block the view. You can see mountain tops over the trees. It is nicely placed in the middle of the White Mountains so it is not hard to get to Mt. Washington, Crawford Notch, the Kancamagus, Jackson, North Conway, and Storyland (very close). The house is tastefully decorated and welcoming. It was very clean and well stocked. We felt completely at home.

Weekend Getaway

This was a good property and has all the things you need in kitchen, washroom as well as bathroom. You just need to bring lotion, food and any other essentials for your family. It was perfect for our family of 4 and I think a family of 5 or 6 depending on your needs. We had a great time! Our only complaints were you cannot find the property due to the address number and Vacasa sign being very small and not noticeable, only reason we gave this property the rating.. Also, because the snow over the roof falls down as we experienced snow and it stayed on the steps. Overall, we had a good time.
