Unit 31 Lot 29: TOT ID # 1595 ... Willkommen im "Seven Blue Mile" -Haus, benannt nach seiner atemberaubenden Aussicht auf das Wildwasser an der Südküste. Es ist sieben Meilen vom Haus bis zur äußersten sichtbaren Klippe am Horizont!

Das Haus liegt hoch auf einem Hügel über der Sea Ranch Lodge und bietet Blick auf die Klippen, Klippen, Wellen und Bäume am südlichen Ende der Sea Ranch, hinter Stewart's Point und darüber hinaus. Genießen Sie einen 180-Grad-Blick auf das Meer und den Himmel und sehen Sie die Erdkurve!
Das Haus verfügt über 3 Etagen, 3 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder und 6 Personen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen 52 "-Flachbild-HD-Fernseher, der über einem Gaskamin montiert ist. Das Unterhaltungszentrum verfügt über einen HD-Fernseher, einen DVD- / CD-Player und eine iPod-Dockingstation mit integriertem Surround-Sound. Es gibt Außenlautsprecher für das Deck und den Whirlpool. Der Whirlpool ist privat und abgelegen, hat aber Tore, die für einen Blick auf das Meer geöffnet werden können.

Das Wohnzimmer, das Esszimmer, die Küche, die Waschküche und das Bad befinden sich im Erdgeschoss oder auf der mittleren Ebene. Das Bad verfügt über eine Dusche, die nur wenige Schritte vom Whirlpool entfernt ist. Die große offene Küche ist mit Granitoberflächen und Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl ausgestattet. Ein französischer 3-türiger Kühlschrank mit eingebautem Kaltwasserspender, doppelwandigen Umluftöfen, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle und 5-Flammen-Gasherd. Es gibt einen Countertop-Fernseher mit DVD-Player zum Anschauen, während Sie kochen. Der Waschraum hat passende Frontlader Waschmaschine und Trockner.

Die private Master Suite mit Kingsize-Bett und Master-Bad befindet sich im Obergeschoss. Es verfügt über einen an der Wand montierten LCD-HD-Flachbildfernseher mit DVD- und VHS-Player. Es gibt einen Wecker mit einer iPod-Dockingstation und einem Ladegerät. Die untere Ebene verfügt über ein Gästezimmer mit Queensize-Bett und ein Kinderzimmer mit einem Doppelstockbett. Beide Zimmer verfügen über eigene LCD-Flachbildfernseher mit Satellitenempfang. Unten gibt es ein gemeinsames Vollbad. Alle Duschen sind begehbar, ohne Glas zum Abwischen oder Reinigen.
Aus Sicherheitsgründen empfehlen die Eigentümer Gästen ab 7 Jahren, dieses Ferienhaus zu mieten.
Eine Garage für 2 Autos sowie kostenfreies WLAN sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass in diesem Haus kein Grill vorhanden ist. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind in dieser Miete nicht enthalten.

Great stay

The house was perfect for our stay. Loved the view and the hot tub. Not walkable to beach because of the hill, but a super quick drive. There were walking trails near the house. It was also nice to be close to the lodge and be able to grab coffee in the morning from the cafe.

Perfect for families!

We had a great time. Being able to swim at the lodge in addition to being so close to amazing hiking and beaches made for a dreamy vacation. Great kitchen. The bedrooms are on different levels fyi and the lounge furniture definitely needs an upgrade but truly this place was so special. Hope to stay again!

It’s a beautiful home with a gorgeous view. The home is beautiful and comfortable for our family of 6. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and various kitchen utensils. We especially appreciated the clean and relaxing spa onsite to wrap up each day. The only drawback is that the house is not walkable to oceanfront hiking trails. FYI - The rental office to pick up the key is 8 miles north of the house.

Spectacular!

This property is exceptional in every way. With a large common area, 3 king bedrooms, a kitchen that's a chef's dream, and a location that's just a few steps from the magnificent bluff trail, this a stellar property with spectacular ocean views. The home also has other unique features, including a pool room constructed around nautical themes as well as a library with a miniature pipe organ. You have to see it to believe it. Remarkable!

Amazing ocean views, close to Sea Ranch Lodge, beautiful property

This property has some of the best ocean views at Sea Ranch, in contrast with some of the homes further down along the meadows. Plenty of hiking trails abound, both along the ocean and in the redwoods. A huge plus is the proximity and even walking distance to the Sea Ranch Lodge, which we went everyday. Be sure to take advantage of all of TSRA’s amenities including the Del Mar Pool. This property is great — beautiful natural light, a lot of space, hot tub, etc — but has some shortcomings, which is why I ultimately have to give it a 4. Amazing views aside, the pillows and beds in the house are extremely uncomfortable. I’m going to need some time with my chiropractor when I return home, because all of our necks are hurting from these pillows. Basic amenities are missing, like shampoo and conditioner, for instance. Considering that the nearest large store is a 10 mile drive further north, it is worth either supplying to the guests or letting guests know clearly what’s included. The television at this house also does not work well at all. I believe it is satellite, and every 15 minutes or so it would crash. We watched the Super Bowl from the house, so you can imagine how frustrating that could be. Finally, what I consider to be the biggest shortcoming is the ant problem; for some reason, there are swarms of ants that are attracted to the bathrooms at odd times. It’s a bit gross and needs to be treated, given the price this place otherwise commands. Self-check in through a code would also be an improvement upgrade I would recommend to make check in and check out smoother. These shortcomings aside, I would definitely come back to stay here again. I appreciate our hosts’ hospitality in opening up their beautiful home to us. We have fallen in love with Sea Ranch, and I think from a competitive perspective, this home certainly rivals others in the area on many metrics — ocean views, access to trails and ocean, proximity to community amenities, privacy and distance from neighbors, and size of house. While this is not an historic Sea Ranch home from the 70s — this home was built in the 2000s — this home fits in beautifully in the community. I highly recommend this place to others.

New construction adjacent

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach disclosed that the adjacent (downhill) home was under construction after the cancellation date. Construction crew arrived at 7 AM and began working by 7:30 AM on the two mornings we were in the rental. Construction until 5 PM across from our deck. Bedroom view of Porta Potties. With appropriate disclosure we would have cancelled. Home itself is ok....would not rent this home until after construction next door is completed. Ocean view will be impacted by the new home below.

Reviewer Comments: The location of the home, the ocean views from every room in the home, and the overall flow of the home from level to level and room to room is EXCELLENT.Here's what's not so excellent: (First) The Hot Tub is FILTHY and some of the Hot Tub Jets don't work(literally don't come ON) and some of the Hot Tub Jets are broken(literally broken pieces floating in the Hot Tub); (Second) There are only 2 deck chairs for a residence that houses 6 people; (Third) Insufficient salad plates (4 total) and insufficient cereal bowls (2 total); and (Fourth) NO Gas or Charcoal barbeque. You might say they're all minor concerns and you're right they are, but when you're staying there for 14 consecutive days, you begin to wonder "Why hasn't the owner taken care of all these things, they're so minor."

It is fairly comfortable, but the bunk beds did not serve our third adult well. We were a bit put off by a directive to empty all the trash cans (we paid a cleaning fee), and instructions to lower the blinds upon departing. The blinds were up when we entered, with instructions not to lower the ones in the downstairs bedrooms, a problem for the people trying to sleep in those rooms.

Memorable Stay at The Sea Ranch

The home is spacious, clean and beautifully maintained, with fantastic blue water view beyond the adjacent landscape and neighboring houses. Deer, rabbits, fox were some local wildlife that we routinely saw at close quarters. Great location a short drive (or walk) from the Sea Ranch Lodge, and the excellent Two Fish bakery at Stewart’s Point, and a great base from which to explore everything else that Sea Ranch has to offer. Well recommended!

Great Views

Great views and location, house was nice and modern. The property managers were very nice and responsive. A few things to keep in mind: 1) The house has stainless steel pans which can stick more if cooking eggs, etc so you may want to bring your own frying pan. 2) Towels and bed linens are not included, but the property managers can include bed linens/towels if requested for an extra fee. 3) Bring your own shampoo/conditioner 4) Keys have to be picked up/dropped off in Gualala (~10-15 mins north) so make sure to budget time for that.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family recently enjoyed 10 days together in this lovely home. The beautiful view certainly made it extra special. The home is well maintained, and the few small issues that came up quickly handled. The floor plan, with the separate bedroom floors, is nicely laid out and provides excellent privacy, while the kitchen/dining area is perfect for family dinners and gathering. The living room forniture, however, is both uncomfortable and inadequate for more than 4 people, and we were five adults. Sitting on dining room chairs to watch TV is not a good substitute. New larger couches are definitely needed. In addition, the third bedroom bunk bed mattresses are very uncomfortable and inadequate for an adult to sleep on. So, minus these inconveniences, we enjoyed our family’s annual Sea Ranch vacation as always.

It served well except the kitchen is not well supplied for folks who really want to cook. If you come here to relax, hike and just snack - great! If you want to do some real cooking, you need to bring LOTS of things to help including: sharp knives, a large tea kettle, a large coffee maker, juicer, a decent cheese grater, coffee filters, food storage containers, a non-stick pan or cast iron, etc... Also, the beds in the "kids" room were pretty uncomfortable. Finally, there was no way for us to connect our computer to the large TV to watch movies.
