Sobald Sie die Auffahrt zu diesem schönen Haus herunterfahren, werden Sie sofort mit einer malerischen Szene eines Blockhauses begrüßt, das im Wald versteckt ist. Das Haus verfügt über ein offenes Grundrisskonzept, Gewölbedecken und Platz für alle, die Zeit miteinander verbringen möchten. Genießen Sie die Aussicht auf den Greers Ferry Lake direkt vor den raumhohen Fenstern. Wenn die Sonne untergeht, werden Sie von der atemberaubenden Aussicht beeindruckt sein. Im Hauptwohnbereich sehen Sie auch einen einzigartigen Baum in der Ecke, der mit Fischködern geschmückt ist. Diese Köder wurden von der Familie während ihrer vielen Sommer in der "Lured Away Cabin" gesammelt. Machen Sie Ihre eigenen Familienerinnerungen, indem Sie den Strand nach Schätzen durchsuchen, die am Ufer des Sees aufgetaucht sind.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer befindet sich neben dem Wohnzimmer und verfügt über ein eigenes Bad, einen Whirlpool und einen eigenen Eingang zum geräumigen Achterdeck mit Blick auf den Greers Ferry Lake. Das zweite Schlafzimmer befindet sich ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss und bietet Zugang zu einem kompletten Badezimmer. In der Küche finden Sie eine große Auswahl, einen Backofen und viel Platz, um ein köstliches hausgemachtes Essen zuzubereiten. Wenn Sie nach oben gehen, finden Sie zwei Schlafzimmer, die durch einen Gehweg voneinander getrennt sind. Das erste Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit eigenem Bad. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei Etagenbetten, zwei Zustellbetten und ein eigenes Bad.

Fishing Trip
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took our management team on a guided fishing trip. We wanted a place right on the lake so they could also fish from shore. This property was perfect for our group of eleven mostly single adults (2 couples). The property was clean in terms of a cleaning service taking care of the interior. But it was lacking in overall upkeep and maintenance. The bathroom floor rugs needed to be washed. The deck area was covered in tree pollen, bird poop & spider webs. Common issues in the woods, but part of the upkeep should include cleaning the deck before guests arrive. At 11:00pm Friday night, we discovered the hot water heater didn't work. We also had a leak from the guest shower upstairs into the master bedroom. We were unable to speak with anyone until Sat morning during our guided fishing trip. They immediately offered another property, but it wasn't favorable for our needs. Also it was storming when we returned from fishing. We were only staying until the next morning at 10:00am so we opted for no hot water vs. relocating in the storm. This is a beautiful, comfortable property right on the lake. But it appears that the real estate investment owners had not made arrangements to ensure the long-term maintenance of the home and to make sure it was in good condition to rent to guests. I expect challenges when travelling, it's a beautiful home, and we had a great trip. But I'll try not to rent from these owners again because the lack of oversight means things will continue to go wrong.

The house was right in the water with a boat launch close to the house also. We were able to leave the boat in the water over night which made the stay even more enjoyable. This is a great house with a wonderful layout.

Amazing place!
This place had everything you need. The bunk room for the kids was great! Kids also enjoyed the canoe. Our only thought was with so many people you should have a second couch instead of the chaise chair because there was not enough seating except the chairs at the table which is not as comfy as a couch. The walkway to the water so nice! We loved our stay!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place for our family of 10 to spend Thanksgiving. The view is fantastic. The roads getting there are a little scary, particularly after dark, but that's typical of this area of Arkansas. Our main complaint was that the large projection tv in the living area did not work. As it was Thanksgiving, we were not able to get this resolved so had to use the small tv from the bunk room. Also, the gas grill was dirty and the two propane tanks were unusable--one was empty and the other had a problem with the connection. We ended up having to buy two small charcoal grills and charcoal in order to grill our Thanksgiving dinner. Things to do maintenance wise--light bulb in lamp in the living room was burned out,door on hall bath locks but does not latch, bunk room door sticks. Overall a great experience.

The kitchen was spacious and equipped with all the necessary essentials. Sitting on the deck was very relaxing. This is a wonderful place to unwind and connect with family. No WiFi, but we didn't miss it. We went Old School with card games, board games and Tic-Tac-Toe with the younger children. We all had a great time and agreed that we will do it again next year.

Beautiful home by the lake
The house itself it in respectful condition. The view from the upstairs overlooking the lake is worth the trip itself. The check in/out process is very clear and easy to complete. The only downside we found about our stay was the location of the house compared to the boat storage. It was about a 30 minute drive from Heber springs to Quitman where this house is located but that was a minor inconvenience. Overall my colleagues and I enjoyed our stay.

LAKESIDE RETREAT
This property has a lovely location. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was fabulous. The inside was in great shape. The exterior was a little dingy and the deck stairs were scary. There was no WIFI. The kayaks mentioned when I reserved the property Dec 26th were not available in June. The "canoe paddles" were not adequate to power a canoe. They were about 3 feet too short. But overall our stay was great.

Well Worth the Visit
My family and I had a great time at this cabin during our winter break. The cabin is located in a remote area right on a lake with very few people around. While we were there, I felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. The cabin itself is well maintained or recently updated. Each room has its own bathroom. The cabin was well stocked with all of the essentials and tidy during our stay. Would recommend.

Ten family members enjoyed staying at this property. It was nicely decorated and comfortable with a nice view and path to the lake. There was a canoe available for our use. The kitchen was well stocked. We were about 30 from Heber Springs, the nearest grocery, and enjoyed the town. Angies Hideaway restaurant had great food. We ate there twice! We would stay here again. The property management responded to my questions very promptly.

Fabulous location and a beautiful house
If you love nature and enjoy luxury, this is a perfect match. Photos don’t do justice to this beautiful house, as everything about this house is high quality and upon arrival it was clean, spotless. The property manager was very prompt for answering all questions. Very comfortable 4 bedrooms and updated bathrooms. Kitchen is very well stocked and the house had everything that we needed for our vacation. The view from the deck is priceless and the access to the lake is amazing. We were a group of 8, with 4 adults and 4 children (1-10yrs), thoroughly enjoyed and will come back. We enjoyed grilling too. Highly recommended property.
