Property was as advertised. Clean and ready for us upin arrival. The host was readily availqble for any questions. Nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy access and good sporting equipment for use. All extras were in good shape too.

Everything you could ever need at the beach!

Amazing house only 1.5 blocks from the beach. This house had literally everything you could need from beach chairs, floats, kids toys, to first aid kits. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great space!

The house is beautiful and served our family of 7 well. Doorways and common spaces were roomy so we were easily able to maneuver a wheelchair around the house. Super close to the beach access which was very private - the whole time we stayed we only had one time where we went to the beach and one other family was there. Close to the Main Street and really great restaurants. The shower floor in the first floor bathroom was a bit slippery but other than that the house was clean, well furnished, and met all our needs!

Wonderful experience

The hosts' instructions and communication were clear, prompt, friendly, and helpful. House is beautiful, spacious and really well equipped. Great location, close to town and beaches. Was helpful that we rented a golf cart to move about town and take beach gear back and forth. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return in future. Great Location and Comfy

The house was located in a gated community with a speed limit of 18 mph. Almost every morning began with a bike ride with plenty of bicycles in the garage. We brought our granddaughter’s bike. Our son enjoyed using the Paddle board and Kayak. We all enjoyed the floats and pool noodles, having access to 3 beaches, community pool, and Pickleball court even though I ended up not playing 😘. The house is a block and a half from a small private beach where we watched the sunset almost every evening except one when it rained, but we were given a view of beautiful rainbow from the back of the house. The house was just the right size for our family and had everything we needed and then some! The owner always responded expeditiously to my questions before our booking and afterwards. During our stay, we had an issue with the bedside electrical outlets not working in one of the bedrooms which she quickly had repaired and around our schedule. We loved the town of Cape Charles! Our first time there. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Parking was free and always available near the public beach and the town. It is a golf cart community which we love! We reserved one as soon as we booked our house; the owner provided the businesses and contact information. Highly recommend you rent one! We hope to return again!

Fun Family Beach week

The owners were extremely easy to work with and answered all my questions very promptly! The kitchen is well-stocked. The furniture is beach basic, but very functional. The upstairs carpeting could use a cleaning, but overall, it was a nice property and a good location!

Perfect Friends Getaway

Perfect getaway!

This was our first time to Cape Charles. The home made for the best location for our family's stay. The location within the gated community was perfect, the home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Loved being able to walk down to the private beach for the sunset each night. Quick drive into town or to the public beach. Host was friendly, communication was quick and provided great recommendations when asked. Highly recommend!

Great location for a few additional bedrooms!

We live in the neighborhood but our house wasn't big enough to host ALL the family visiting for the week. This house was very convenient, comfortable, and the kitchen made cooking meals for 16 guests much easier... new appliances, two dining tables, and a nice size pantry to store everything. The primary bedroom on the same floor as the kitchen and living area was really helpful for my parents who are in their mid-70s. Overall a good stay and will do it again!

Family vacation

We loved the house, it fit us perfectly! It was well stocked, appreciated all the towels, kitchen had everything we needed! Beds were very comfortable, even the bunks! The only thing we would have liked would be an outdoor shower for the sandy kids!

A must stay!

This was the best home rental experience I've ever had. The house was fully stocked -- with everything you could possibly want. Very clean, a truly spectacular location if you have a golf cart. The hosts thought of everything. Board games galore, internet that actually allows you to stream. And what a perk to have access to kayaks and a paddle board -- the kids and adults loved giving them a go on the private beach. I cannot recommend this location enough. A MUST STAY!

BOOK it, now!

This house was fantastic for our stay in cape Charles. The owners are amazing; they are to the point & extremely helpful/available to answer questions. The owners are so generous with having chairs, beach toys, kayaks, linens/towels/soaps & much more available for us to utilize while there. The kitchen had everything we needed. Board games & books for the beach! The house is close to the beach; we either walked or load our rented golf cart & drove the block.
