Fresh, local coffee provided from Hatchet Coffee Roasters (the best coffee in Boone!)

-Ask us about private chef service from Jay Meier from LeJayFilet for date nights & dinner parties. Jay specializes in seasonal menus which showcase local ingredients from the High Country.

-Cozy bedrooms. Comfortable beds & bedding. Each room has a closet & furniture to store your clothing & other items.

-Inviting living spaces. Relax on the large sectional sofa or on the deck overlooking the creek. Smart TV with Roku (Netfllix, Prime, HBOMax) & HDMI compatible. High speed internet & WiFi provided.

-Modern bathrooms. Soak in the large tub or enjoy the walk-in shower. Each bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, & plenty of soft towels.

-Best of both worlds. Be embedded in nature while still a short yet scenic drive to restaurants & amenities. 10 minutes drive to a supermarket (Lowe's Foods), 12-15 minutes to Downtown Boone & many awesome restaurants, 2-5 minutes to neighborhood markets, 10 minutes to Todd & the New River, 30 minutes to downtown West Jefferson, & 10 minutes to Elk Knob State Park.

Other things to note:
Guests will have complete privacy throughout the property including the home and 4 acres of land. The basement area and utility room of the home are not available to guests and used for storage. There is very limited cell phone service on the property. However, guests can call, text, and use messaging apps over WiFi (high speed via Spectrum). A landline phone is available in case of emergency. A power line runs through the backyard of the property. It doesn’t interfere with the view or otherwise cause any problems. Local hunters use surrounding land for deer and turkey hunting. You might hear gunshots though it is rare. If that bothers you, please look elsewhere. One exterior camera is located at the front door. It records sound and video when motion activated. It is on 24/7 including during your stay.

-The home is located on a NC Scenic Byway. There is potential for road noise from motorcycles, trucks, & cars that you will mainly hear if outdoors. The landscaping provides privacy to the home. Our home is embedded in nature and it is possible a critter such as a spider or bug will make its way inside. The home is regularly treated to keep critters away from the perimeter of the house.
