Diese gemütliche Hütte im Landhausstil mit moderner Ausstattung und Blick auf den Lake Superior ist das perfekte Basislager, um den Porcupine Mountain State Park zu erkunden. Neu renoviert mit einem Queensize-Bett, das zur Küche / zum Wohnbereich offen ist. Bettwäsche wird gestellt.

Klimaanlage und Roku TV, Wi-Fi. Badezimmer mit Dusche. Die Küche hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kochplatte, Bratpfanne, Töpfe / Pfannen, Geschirr / Besteck. Es gibt auch einen großen Propangrill auf der Veranda, Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und eine Feuerstelle für ein Lagerfeuer

The Perfect getaway cabin

Every part of the cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The management was very nice and easy to contact. The location so near the Porcupine State Park was ideal. While not located right on the beach, there is a public beach a short drive from the property.

Solo sled trip

My wife and I stayed at the smaller cabin. Wow, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin was exactly as described. Small and cozy. Everything was shoveled. Even a path to the fire pit which we did use. The cabins cleanliness and condition was immaculate to say the least. You can definitely tell that matt&brandi care. Would 100% rec a stay. Perfect couples cabin after a day out on the trails.

Beautiful winter getaway!

Beautiful cabin on Lake Superior

This is my 3rd time staying at Matt & Brandi's beautiful cabin in Silver City. The cabin is cozy and beautifully decorated. They take great care to make sure the cabin is clean, comfy and fully stocked with everything anyone would need for a relaxing stay in the north woods.

Couples cabin

We enjoyed staying at this couple's cabin very much and hope to come back. The cabin was very clean and well equipped to cook meals since we stayed during the winter season and over the Christmas holiday. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot. The hosts had the cabin decked out for the holiday with a tree and homemade treats. They were easy to contact when we had trouble getting the Roku TV to connect (our fault) and they definitely went over and above any expectation we had for the stay. Very nice!!!

Cozy cabin

Enjoyed our stay, located close to many attractions. Cottage was very clean and stocked with anything needed for your stay. Easy check in, Brandi responded very quickly to emails. Would stay here again.

Over all it was a good time. Had to share the place with flies, (there were a lot of them) but it was tolerable. The porkies were great and close. Wish the town had a little more to offer.

This is a must stay place!

I cannot say enough about this place! It was perfect for us. Cozy little cabin with a superb location! Everything needed is there to have a great, relaxing space to call "home". The hosts are FANTASTIC!! Brandi provided some prime spots to check out and was quick to respond to any questions! We loved, loved, loved exploring the area and having the cabin to come back to. Thank you so much for making our trip special, and this is our place to go when we return!

50th Anniversary Trip to Porcupine Mountains

The cabin is sweet and so clean! Very efficient. Brandi and Matt are great! Our only complaint about the cabin was the bathroom was too small for our needs. We made it work though! We felt the surrounding pictures for the add for this place was a bit deceiving. Not for the cabin but for the rest of the areas.

Summer Get Away

This is our second time staying at this property. It couldn't be more perfect for us. The decor is well thought out, the comforts (almost) of home, convenient location to the waterfalls & Porcupine Mountains and a view of Lake Superior. Brandi is soooo attentive and genuinely kind & helpful to make our stay absolutely carefree. She is incredibly prompt at returning and answering messages and giving fabulous suggestions. The cabin is soooo clean which we love. She always goes above and beyond, including mailing our dog's forgotten favorite chew toy. Bless your heart girl!! Thank you and we will return again & again.

Perfect little cabin

Cute and very clean with everything that you need. My fiancé and I had an amazing time exploring the Porcupine Mountains and it was comforting to be able to come back and relax at the cabin aftet a long day. We will definitely try to get back again next year.

Nice relaxing cabin

Very nice little cabin near the Porcupine Mountains. We enjoyed the fire pit and the patio with the bug net. It was a good size for us but may be small for more than 2 people. No oven or stove but there is a well-fueled grill and griddle. Has wifi if you need it. Very nice, clean cabin. Very responsive hosts.

Zu Gast bei Matt & Brandi

I (Brandi) was born and raised in White Pine so I have had Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains in my backyard my whole life. I have 2 adult children.
Matt was born and raised in lower Michigan (Richmond) and always loved to vacation in the UP. Being the hunter and fisherman he is, he relocated here thru his job (Semco) in 2001
Fast forward a few years...we met in 2012 and the rest is history.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Rainbow Lodging was originally the End of the Rainbow Restaurant. It served ice cream and broasted chicken and was a popular place to see bears. It had been closed for several years before my Aunt Sharon bought the property in 2011. She turned it into a home for my grandparents (her parents) and a few years later when they relocated she decided to rent it out.
Now its her turn to relocate and with wanting to keep it in the family, we (Matt & I) decided to embark on this exciting yet challenging adventure together
