Great Family Haus am Strand, wo Sie den Sonnenaufgang über majestätische Mt. beobachten Baker, schlendern Sie durch den langen Strand oder einfach nur in einem der Liegestühle auf der Terrasse entspannen. Dieser Strand ist für Achat Jagd zur Kenntnis genommen und ist ein großartiger Ort, um Ihre Reise Kajak starten. Kinder lieben es, Festungen aus dem Treibholz auf dem Strand machen

Das Haus wurde renoviert und dennoch die gemütliche Atmosphäre 'Omas Beach House' behält. Es kommt mit allem, was für einen Spaß Kurzurlaub benötigt. Die Kinder können am Strand spielen und die Eltern können von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Die Küche wurde komplett renoviert und die Möbel fast alle neu. Es gibt ein großes Familienzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Queen Schlafsofa, Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und Gäste-Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten und 2 Bäder. Es kommt mit Grill, TV, DVD, VCR, Picknick-Tische und Liegestühlen. Das Haus verfügt über eine reizvolle Geschichte, die wir schriftlich niedergelegt haben, für Sie zu genießen. Relaxing at Lummi

The cottage was perfect after we had a busy week traveling through the Canadian Rockies ! Great location , sunrises and sunsets , and beach walks ! Great way to finish off our vacation !

Perfect location!

This is a gem and lives bigger than the pictures show. Well equipped Kitchen and plenty of linens. Very sunny location as compared to south part of island which seems to be more heavily forested and shady. We will be back!

We would highly recommend this vacation home for a get-away for 2-6

We stayed 3 nights over Christmas and could not have been more comfortable (we were a group of 4). The house is well-layed out for space to read, sit, sleep, conversation. You are right on the water with big windows to take in the view of the water and mountains, and it has a nice terrace to eat or lounge outside. It is close to neighbors, but the houses are off-set for a feeling of privacy. Super clean throughout, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and amenities, some games and books if you forgot yours. The beach is narrow and rocky with lots of shells and pretty stones, and I imagine in the summer it's good for wading, swimming, and kayaking (there is a tide, so you lose the beach sometimes). Seems to be a good place to bring a bike, too. The ferry runs often, but it can get expensive if you plan to go back and forth for other adventures. I'd say, bring your groceries and plan to stay put (there is a small grocery store that has enough to get you through, too). We gave this stay four thumbs-up for comfort, location, and value.

Quiet family weekend

Our family (two adults and two kids - aged 3 & 7) enjoyed our weekend at “Grandma’s House.” We lived the slow pace of Lummi Island and loved sitting on the patio and eating meals on the picnic table. The house was perfect in size and we loved all the windows out to the view of the water and Mt Baker. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Grandma's House

Was a beautiful spot. The Ocean view looked towards Mt. Baker what else can I say. The house itself was my Grandma's comfy and warm. Saving to come back.

Perfection

This is our second time renting this gem. Clean, comfy, all the amentities you'd ever need, and the view is dynamite. The host Virginia is communicative and pleasant. I have never rented the same place twice, and I am sure there will be a third time in my future!!

Favorite Rental

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. This is our second visit and this time I brought my Dad. It is clean, comfortable, and has all the amentities one needs for the stay. Plenty of beach towels, blankets, chairs, games, kitchen items etc. The view is outstanding. There is beach access. It's a lovely place to reset and enjoy nature's gifts.

Wonderfully relaxing

We had an absolutely wonderful, relaxing time in this very clean and comfortable home. They weren't kidding, the beach is right there! We ate wonderful meals brought by a terrific concierge service (Jackie). All our food and treats were delivered and ready for us when we got there. We went for walks daily all three days we were there. Its just a terrific beach! We made a garden of our family on the colorful picnic table with a big piece of driftwood, seashells, beach rocks, those gorgeous pink flowers next to the rocks and shrubbery. I spelled the word Joy on the large rocks in the yard with more rocks and a seashell. Its a really magical place, the views are really beautiful and if you love watching boats, this is your place! Our pups really enjoyed the beach too. We never wanted to leave! Thank you for sharing this wonderful home. We hope to come back again soon! Tom and Tammy Rocky and Maxx... :)

I can't stress enough how beautiful the view was. I looked forward to waking up every morning just so I could cook breakfast while gazing out across the water. The house itself was great. Well stocked, clean, and definitely comfortable for our family of four.

Heavenly!

I was really impressed with both the inside and outside of Grandma's House. It is very bright, cheery and cozy with 2 seating areas, a very nice and fully equipped kitchen, darling 2 bedrooms along with a nice bathroom and laundry room. I enjoyed lounging on the front patio, looking over the water toward Bellingham and Mt. Baker. Often I could hear what I call the little wavelets when the tide was up and there was a bit of wind. I so enjoy hearing the water, for it is so relaxing and peaceful. To me there is nothing better than being practically right on the beach. The property is very quiet. There is no road noise for it's a distance from the main road. The sunrises are beautiful and often at sunset Mt Baker has a pink glow. I can't wait to come back.

What a magical place!

Unforgettable getaway

I had some questions regarding the property and the communication was fast, efficient and easy. My plans for the dog sitter fell through the last moment and we didn’t have any issues adding our fur baby to the trip (of course for the additional pet fees). I want to comment on the superb cleanliness of the place, it’s spotless! Everything is labeled and everything is provided! And what makes this place unforgettable is the fantastic view! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Island Paradise

The property was perfect for our party of 4. We especially liked the well equipped kitchen since we ate in a lot because the island only has a handful of dining options. The listing describes the house as having 1.5 bathrooms but it has 2 full bathrooms, which was a nice surprise. The property manager needs to update the contact information on the listing, the phone number has been disconnected and that have me a scare when I tried calling a few days before our arrival date to ask about check in instructions. Otherwise, a great place for a family getaway.

A true slice of heaven!!

This was a great place that is updated and has a cottage feel. We really enjoyed the relaxing place and are amazed that the owner will share such a wonderful house. We searched for sea glass and kayaked when the weather permitted. We will be back as soon as we can. Suggestions for a better stay. Buy food etc. from a grocery store off the island, as food is hard to find at the store on the island and sometimes it was spoiled (we actually got food poisoning from muffins). The one open restaurant was great though!

Relaxing and peaceful island stay

We really enjoyed our time with family during our stay. It started off stressful as we never received check in instructions and we weren’t able to get ahold of our contact. Luckily part of our party went ahead and wandered to the owners home who was kind enough to let us in. After that mishap we were able to enjoy the stay. The island itself is secluded but we found hikes and a few wineries and enjoyed glorious summer weather. The home is right on the beach and has stunning views of mount baker. We played games, grilled (which was approved by our own grill master) and slept well. I would recommend staying here however ensure you receive check in instructions 48 hours prior to check in.
