Cute and Convenient

My husband, brother, and myself really enjoyed this cabin! Everything was working and the cabin was just what we were expecting. The beds were comfortable and the game room allowed us space to relax and still have a good time while at the cabin. The location of the cabin was also a hit for us, very close to many activities while still having privacy.

We loved the Peacefulness tranquility the swing having morning coffee on the Porch, Everything was amazing. The only one thing with the carpenter bees.They don't bother you but they sure make a mess.

Water softener leaking. Roof leaking directly over the bed. There was no WiFi/internet. The pictures of the view of the valley were misleading. Nothing but trees.

Good place at a great rate

Overall we had a very good stay! A couple things did happen that made the cabin show its age, couple cosmetic things but could care less just didn’t wanna get charged. We got a very sever thunderstorm that made the roof leak onto us at night so that wasn’t to pleasant but we just moved the bed. Was a very spacious place. Wish the view was better lots of tree blockade. Pretty private though so that was very nice, quiet community. Get outdoor porch. Overall great lovely cabin.

Great Cabin!

We loved staying at this cabin! The hot tub was amazing and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The property manager had the fire place on when we got there, which really added a nice touch. Our only complaint is that the bed in the bedroom was lumpy and they did not supply coffee pods for the Keurig.

Rain drops are falling on my head

Three big issues for us during our 4 night stay: The thermostat was set to 55 degrees upon our arrival. It took 36 hours to bring the cabin up to temperature. The internet/xfinity were spotty at best. We came home one evening to find that the roof had been leaking throughout the day and had soaked down the upstairs bedding, mattress, and the clothes we had on the bed. We definitely will choose a different location next time.

Eh it was ok. Should have stayed at a hotel

We arrived at the property to a half working hot tub, staff was great for a fast response. After staying at the cabin for 5 days no staff came to check our water leves, water pH to see if more chemicals were needed. At other cabins I've stayed maintenence comes around on day 3 to make sure everything is OK with the hot tub water was disgusting after 2 days. Regarding the game room that has a futon, there was no heat down there. All of us had to rotate on who was sleeping down there. It was freezing cold to sleep despite having 3 queen quilts on. The property had garbage around it. Very disappointed for how much money we spent to stay here. Better off at a hotel.

Overall the house was good and had a nice view of the mountais.

Overall the house was good and had a nice view of the mountais. My 10 year old son was looking forward to the air hockey table that was shown on listing but was not there. The hot tub and house was clean but they could use some new living room furniture, little run down. The upstairs bedroom is a loft so it's not closed off from main living area, we overlooked that on the floor plan that is provided on listing. The house is in a nice area and close to everything. Would give 5 stars if the air hockey table was there and lay out was a little better. Nice place though.

This cabin was very nasty and overpriced.

This cabin appears to be very nice in the “photoshopped” pictures. But when you get there it is awful. I wish we would have read the reviews on the cabin and summit cabin rentals before staying with them. The cabin needs a extreme cleaning. There was mold/mildew all in the game room. The upstairs sink was clogged. The first night I took a shower and the water leaked into the basement, where another couple was playing pool. The ceiling in the living room looks to be falling apart. The appliances were nasty and old. All the furniture was old and nasty. We had to go buy toilet paper because the toilet paper was so hard. There was no vent covers on the downstairs a/c vent. They didn’t tell us until last minute that there was no longer a hot tub. Overall this cabin needs a deep cleaning and some repairs. I would not recommend anyone stay here until the cleaning and repairs are made. Also, as bad as that cabin was they charged our card 75.00 for “damage to a cushion”. Which is a complete joke. Don’t stay here, we have always used American patriot getaways for cabin rental and have always had a good experience. Unfortunately we booked this weekend trip last minute and went with summit cabin rentals-absolutely the worst decision.

Very nice stay

Very nice and clean! Loved that the pool table ans air hockey machine were available. Only bummer was that there was no hot tub at the time, they were waiting for replacement but the listing still had it as an available amenity, so unfortunately, we didn't get to utilize that.

Nice cabin and location

Nice cabin for a small family. Loved that our dog was able to stay as well. Really great porch and a bit of a view. There are other cabins in the ‘neighborhood’ but were spaced nicely for some privacy. The hot tub was a consideration for booking this cabin but it was unfortunately out of order. We were notified two weeks in advance though, so we were made aware though still disappointing. The game room was fun and we put it to use. The TV situation was disappointing (we don’t book a cabin to sit around and watch TV, I know, but it’s still nice to have in downtime). Only the small bedroom TV could stream so the living room and game room TVs were essentially worthless. Overall, I appreciated the feeling of being isolated in the woods in a cabin while in reality being very conveniently located to just about everything one could need.

Was disappointed

I read a review right before our trip and did bring it to the attention of the people who are responsible and they assured me any problems had been taken care of. That was not the case. The place needs a thorough cleaning and a major upgrade. My husband is very tall and could barely fit in the showers. I don’t want to go on and on, let’s just say I was very disappointed.

property is poorly maintained

Several items for this property were not as advertised: none of the outside lights worked which made nightly returns to the cabin difficult, the outside light where the hot tub was located would not stay on, air hockey table did not work (one of the reasons we picked this cabin) and the sides were breaking off, several tv remotes did not have batteries, we never got the upstairs bedroom tv to work properly, the living room furniture was stained and you sank when you sat down, the porch had bird waste all over it along with one of the rocking chairs (and we were told the place had been cleaned), you can't use the master bedroom tub because it overflows into the drain to the downstairs bathroom and caused the lower bathroom to flood. This is not a property I would recommend. We were very disappointed in overall stay. The structure of the cabin itself was nice and we liked the location but the upkeep has not been maintained. I've rented places from your site before and this is the first time I was disappointed.
