Privates Haus am See mit Bootsanlegestelle innerhalb von 5 Minuten zur Interstate und weniger als 45 Minuten nach Asheville. Dieses große Haus ist perfekt für die ganze Familie / Gruppe. Noch besser ist, dass dieses Haus für alle Altersgruppen geeignet ist, da es behindertengerecht ist und eine fast flache Lage zum See hat. Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über einen großen Meister mit eigenem Bad. 2. Schlafzimmer neben dem Flurbad. Bettwäsche wird gestellt, Handtücher nicht. Geräumige und offene Küche, Ess- und Wohnbereich. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein großer Dachboden mit 2 Etagenbetten und 4 Einzelbetten. Genießen Sie im Erdgeschoss die Höhle und die voll ausgestattete Bar mit Sitzgelegenheiten für 6 Personen. Auch ein Billardtisch, viele Sitzgelegenheiten, Schlafzimmer und Vollbad. Draußen genießen Sie den vollen Seeblick auf dem vollständigen Achterdeck, das teilweise überdacht ist und Platz für 10 Personen bietet. Gegossener Patio auf Kellerlinien mit mehr Sitzplätzen. Wunderschöne Landschaftsgestaltung und Feuerstelle. Maisloch. See Spielzeug gehören Kanu, Paddle Board, eine Auswahl an Schwimmern und 1 2-Personen-Kajak.

The Perfect Lake James House

This is the perfect house for a family vacation on Lake James. The kitchen is well equipped. The top floor is perfect for a group of kids. We all loved the bottom floor pool table and record player. The dock it great to swim from and it located in a peaceful cove. This is our 3rd time staying here and plan to return every year.

Awesome group house

Great place for group get away with kids and adults, many spaces for fun and area has lots of things to do. Home is well supplied and host was great. Many memories!!

Lake James Retreat

Location exceptional and property is outstanding. Kitchen was well equipped, and beds were comfortable. Minor concerns about cleanliness and condition of stereo equipment. People with mobility issues need to be careful when using walkway to lake. Overall loved the experience.

Family summer vacation

We’ve always wanted to visit Lake James & it is a beautiful mountain lake. The home suited our needs well. Plenty of room to spread out. Loved the three decks. Thoughtful kitchen items, well stocked & organized. Wonderful landscaping. Boat dock was a little closer to neighbors than I prefer. All in all a great house for groups to enjoy.

The house was clean and well maintained and the hosts provided everything you need to enjoy your stay! There is limited parking for both cars and your boat but it's doable!

Well Equiped Large Lake House

We have never stayed at a property that had as much supplies as this one. So well equipped it was like home away from home. Lake area/cove is clean with excellent swimming for the kids. A little tight with neighbors docks but okay. House is large with plenty of space. The upstairs sleeping loft for kids was nice to have. House to water was not steep and easy to access.

Annual Family weekend

Very nice property. Clean and Comfy. We really enjoyed being on the lake. Perfect for boating, fishing and it was nice to have canoe, paddleboard and kayaks. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous. Loved sitting on deck and looking out at them.

Family vacation

We had 13 people ranging in age from 17 to 80 years old. Everyone had a bed and slept comfortably. The loft was perfect for all the “kids”. We enjoyed swimming from the dock every day!! The kayaks and paddle board were also a big hit. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals each night. We highly recommend this property, it’s quiet and the view was amazing!!!

Comfy home and quiet area

Even though there are houses close by, it was quiet. We had a great getaway, 4 kids and 6 adults. The kids all shared the bunkbed room which is the third floor. Had everything we needed.

A short return home

House was just as described we were pleasantly surprised by all the fun decor around the house. Our kids enjoyed fishing playing in the lake and afternoon fires. The property is located right by the Fonta Flora trail head which we took full advantage of exploring.

Summer Holliday

The property is accessible to everything we needed (Food Lion/Dollar General/Pizza) great for a large family or two families with older teens. Our kids enjoyed playing pool, using the kayaks and SUP. The landscaping is stunning! We enjoyed the 4th of July, grilled out - there is a well equipped kitchen. Stopped by Bones Jones for a delicious meal and next time we’ll bring our pickleball paddle to reserve the courts around the corner. The water temperature was perfect for swimming/floating. Lake life is the best life.

Multi Family Vacation

We had plenty of room for a multi family vacation. The kids/teens had a great time in the game room and had plenty of space in the bunk room in the loft. The many lake toys provided make the property and the lake easy to enjoy. The house is well stocked and the kitchen was easy to use. Ranked it a 4 star since they do not provide towels, which is inconvenient when traveling from 9 hours away.

Lake trip 2023

Location is perfect. Older home with dated decor. It is def a family home with lots of mementos everywhere. My son loved the records and pool table. Nice sloped walk to dock. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable except for Queen. It had a def roll in middle.still gave 5 stars because location is perfect, had paddle boards, and no steep walk to dock.

Wonderful family vacation Third year in a row

We LOVE this location and property. The owners are making improvements each year which really make a difference. The bunk room has its own air conditioner now. Our teens loved hanging out on the top porch. The dock had enough space for our boat and the cove is perfect for hanging out in the water. The kitchen is well equipped. We cook most meals there. We do enjoy Fonta Flora and Bones Jones for a night out. The basement is so fun to hang out in. The management company is extremely responsive. The neighbor’s pets are delightful. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Fun at the Lake

Something for everyone in early August. Three adults and 3 kids 8, 5, 3. The lake toys - canoe, kayaks, paddleboard and noodles were awesome. We used everything -- the decks, rocking chairs, huge outdoor table, fire pit and Grill. The kitchen was so well equipped. We cooked every meal from scratch and had what we needed. Only flaw was the dishwasher which didn't always dispense the soap properly. We left a note about that. This is a particularly fabulous place for big families and groups of friends. Loved it!

No Smoking or Vape (even outside)

Let me start by stating the positives of the property its a nice size (ample beds). the location is good. The negatives no smoking or vape anywhere on the property or you are threatened to be kicked out and lose your money. I don’t smoke personally, but we had a few people that do and they were having to walk in the rain to the street to smoke. The neighbors are right on top of you on the dock and they aren’t very friendly (their dock is maybe 5-6ft away). The main issue with that is from the picture it looked like one of the boat bays were available, but we had to squeeze our boat between the 2 docks because there are now 2 boats (1 in each dock). Also there was no place to park a trailer because the best 2 spots for the trailers were taken by the owners trailers.
