Song of the South ist eine bezaubernde Oase am Turkey Creek (kein Fischerbach). Mit Ende der Straße Privatsphäre und eine Feuerstelle direkt am Wasser. Song of the South ist eine Sliding Rock Cabin, die eine abgeschirmte Veranda, eine Terrasse und eine Terrasse mit einem großen Whirlpool, einen Gasgrill, eine Creekside-Feuerstelle und einen umzäunten Hof abseits der abgeschirmten Veranda bietet. Vielleicht möchten Sie den Tag in der Hängematte ausklingen lassen, S'Mores in der Feuerstelle am Bach braten, vielleicht die bergigen Pfade von Ellijay und Blue Ridge wandern, dann abends im großen Whirlpool baden oder sich am Kamin kuscheln und entspannen Sieh dir einen alten Film auf deinem SmartTV-Großbildschirm an und schlafe vielleicht lange auf dem Kingsize-Bett auf dem Dachboden.
Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein Bad mit einer Kombination aus Dusche und Badewanne. Das offene Loft im Obergeschoss verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und einen Juliette-Balkon. Spring vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time this was our 4th stay with Sliding Rock and we pick a different cabin every time. Have never had a bad experience. Songs of the South is really easy to find and can get there with any type of vehicle. We will be back in the fall.

Just what I needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time especially seeing how we were lucky enough to get the first snow of 2025. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and we are somewhat locals, as we live in Gainesville. Everything worked as it was supposed to and very clean, well at first it was clean. Unfortunately as we were cleaning up like the check out sheet was directing us to do, as we pulled the sheets of the bed to put by the laundry room we did find a pair of panties that we’re not ours. We know things get left behind but would have been nice for the cleaning company to have found them first just saying. I was a little disappointed that the knives in the kitchen were as dull as they were but not the end of the world. But I will say the number one draw back to the whole stay was there was only one roll of TP! If we would have not been able to get out because of the snow things might not have been great. Please leave more then one roll in the cabin. High lights of our stay was just how comfortable we were the whole time. Snowing while sitting in the jacuzzi was pretty amazing. Watching the deer walking across the ridge at first light is always a good time. I give this rental 8 out of 10 because it snowed which I could not have planned.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleased with our stay at Song of the South. There were a few things that could have made it better. The lighting in the kitchen was still not good. We struggled trying to prepare meals. It would help if you could remove the TV cabin and put something smaller there or hang it on the wall. It would have been nice to have the screen porch clean from spider webs and leaves. Same for all around the outside of the house. I had to take the broom and sweep as much as I could. I would have brought my leaf blower if I had known. I understand you are in a low terrine that doesn't help. Otherwise we enjoyed the firepit area and hot tub.

My wife 2 dogs and myself had a great time at the cabin in the mountains. The creek in the back was awesome to sit by while enjoying a fire. I will definitely return in the future.

I loved that the creek was so close that you can hear it to put you to sleep at night. Very private. The roads were easy to access. I would have liked brighter light bulbs in the cabin because it was hard to see inside. Make sure you go to the lockbox on the front door porch not on the side of the house! Reviewer Comments: My husband and I and our 2 aussiedoodles really enjoyed our stay at Song of the South.. the dogs loved playing in the creek and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch.. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable.. we were a little disappointed on our first night.. we were planning to grill hamburgers on the gas grill but the starter button was missing and we didn’t have a way to light the grill.. other than that, we had an amazing time.

Everything was as described and the creek in the back is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Sliding Rock is truly dog friendly as we were able to bring our four dogs who loved the fenced yard and screened in patio. The stairs even had backing to the steps preventing our smaller dogs from falling had they slipped between steps. We all had the most restful nights sleep with the sound of the creek flowing in the background. We definitely plan on returning to Ellijay in the near future and Sliding Rock will be our first choice for cabin rentals.

Listening to the creek from the screened porch and drinking coffee was a great way to start the day. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the cabin and were able to find everything we needed to prepare it. The property was clean and comfortable. If we return to this area we will come back to this cabin.
