Ich habe dieses Haus im Frühjahr 2016 gekauft und umgebaut und aktualisiert. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich 2 Schlafzimmer mit einem Vollbad auf dem Flur. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett und das andere Schlafzimmer hat ein Queensize-Bett. Die Hauptebene hat ein Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer, eine Küche, eine Gästetoilette und ein weiteres Schlafzimmer, das ich als Atelier meines Künstlers benutze. Bei Bedarf kann hier ein Queen-Size-AeroBed untergebracht werden. Das Untergeschoss verfügt über ein Vollbad, ein Wohnzimmer, eine Waschküche, einen Billardtisch und eine Bar. Im Keller befindet sich ein Schlafsofa mit Queensize-Schaumstoffmatratze. Schließlich habe ich einen großen Garten, der komplett eingezäunt ist, sowie eine Garage für 2 Autos

Cozy home in a great neighborhood

This was such a great place to stay during our visit to Chicago. Neighborhood had many great restaurants and was close to public transport. Highly recommend!! We will stay here again the next time we are in town!

Logan Square Gem

This was a terrific home for a holiday stay with our grown kids. We chose Logan Square because our daughter lives close by. The home was very clean and cute! It was pet friendly and didn't smell like dog. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in front yard where he could people watch! There were lovely touches in the home and it was all decorated for Christmas for us to enjoy. The Agora Market is great, little gourmet market very close to pick up anything you might need. The host did everything she could to make it a 5 star stay! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this immaculate and well-appointed property. The home had everything we needed and then some. This house is amazing. Perfect for getting out to explore Chicago. Communication with the owner was great and she even had some art supplies out for our daughter to occupy her time when we weren't out exploring. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Chicago.

Wonderful stay!

Adorable Cottage in a great neighborhood

This cute and colorful cottage is filled with charm and art. The main floor is ideal, with a comfy sofa, large and useful dining table, and super kitchen. There is an office on that level, as well as a breakfast nook in the back with great light. Downstairs you will find the washer/dryer, a bedroom, and a game room. The upper level is accessible by a narrow and steep stairwell. Two bedrooms and a very nice albiet small bathroom await. Your hosts, Dena and Dan, are as welcoming and friendly as possible. The downside is that there isn't a lot of space for your own things among the owner's items, but it's still worth a stay! Highly recommend.

Best Chicago place we’ve stayed!

This property—and host—are 5 STAR! ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️!!! Dena’s home is spotless, comfortable and way more spacious than any other 6 person accommodations! Our family gathered from California and the MidWest for Memorial Day 🇺🇸 weekend. The kitchen was well appointed for us to do some cooking, we were able to find street parking, and everything you could want for coffee and eateries is walkable! To top it off, Dena was super responsive, easy to work with, and was genuinely invested in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay at Dena’s again when visiting the Windy City!! 🌆

Great stay!

Dena was a great host. Her house was cozy and immaculate. My family stayed here as a home base for attending my brother’s wedding at Revolution Brewing in Logan Square and it was incredibly convenient and comfortable. My 87 year old grandparents were with us and chose to stay in the basement pull out couch to reduce the number of stairs they had to deal with, but said the bed was still very comfortable although the basement gets quite cold with the air conditioning low enough to cool the second floor bedrooms enough to sleep well. Having garage parking was also extremely convenient, but we also didn’t have much trouble finding street parking in front of the house each night and Dena was thoughtful enough to provide overnight street parking passes as well. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Great, updated house with nice amenities

This house is a gem. Very well-maintained, clean, comfy high quality furnishings, and lots of unexpected amenities. Garage access was a plus. A Big open and updated kitchen, dining area, and living room made it easy to hang out with the family, prepare meals and relax. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Just beware, if you come during summer months and hot weather, the temperature in the house does not regulate very well from floor to floor. There is one cooling system that kept the basement frigid cold, the main floor fairly comfortable, but the upstairs was extremely hot. If you plan to come, you should check the forecast. If it is over 85°, I would contact the host to see if they have remedied the cooling situation. A simple portable air conditioner would have solved everything. We were hoping the host would have offered to provide this but during our stay she was traveling out of the country at the time and very difficult to reach with the time difference. We were given an emergency local contact and tried to ask for assistance. We suggested bringing in a portable AC unit, but the contact did not offer. As guests in the property, we felt this should have been a reasonable request given the circumstances. Other than this temperature issue, we did have a nice stay and I would recommend.

This house is located on a terrific block. It's minutes away from all the action. Yet, it's a quiet oasis. The backyard garden is always something I look forward to enjoying especially after a hectic day.
