Der kürzlich renovierte Bungalow mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern in der Innenstadt bietet moderne Annehmlichkeiten, historischen Charme und einen ruhigen Rückzugsort auf der Terrasse. Es ist das perfekte Basislager für NRG-Entdecker.

Das bezaubernde einstöckige Haus wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1927 erbaut und bietet einladenden Charakter und Charme. Es wurde mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten aktualisiert, einschließlich; eine voll ausgestattete küche, zwei bäder und zentrale klimaanlage und heizung. Es war uns jedoch sehr wichtig, möglichst viele der ursprünglichen Details und die skurrile Geschichte in allen Bereichen zu verstreuen.

Es ist ein Ort, an dem Reisende erkunden, zurücksetzen, reflektieren und kreieren können. Wir hoffen, dass Sie jeden Moment Ihres komfortablen Aufenthalts genießen. Entspannen Sie sich bei Ihrem Morgenkaffee in unserer ruhigen Bauernküche oder entspannen Sie sich nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der wunderschönen New River Gorge bei einem Glas Rotwein auf der Dachterrasse.

Nach einem langen Tag voller Entdeckungen können Sie sich in eines der drei Schlafzimmer zurückziehen und eine ruhige Nachtruhe genießen. Unser Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit weicher Baumwolldecke, eine gemütliche Daunendecke und ein angeschlossenes Bad. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei komfortable Einzelbetten mit vielen Kissen und einer Daunendecke. Das dritte Schlafzimmer / Fernsehzimmer (Zugang zur Küche über dieses Zimmer) bietet ein Queensize-Schlafsofa, das herausgezogen werden kann, um bequem zwei unterzubringen Menschen.

Truly Delightful

This home was clean, spacious, quiet, and restored beautifully! We were very sorry to leave. The outdoor deck was the perfect resting place after a day of hiking. It was enjoyable to walk into the town and eat in the local restaurants. This was a perfect getaway!

Excellent house so close to downtown

This house is beautiful, exactly like the pictures and perfectly clean! We loved being so close to the National park that we could come back to the house for lunch in between hikes. The walk to downtown is super easy, there are plenty of cute shops & restaurants. We highly recommend this house and loved that we were able to bring our dog.

Great location for visiting New River Gorge Natl Park

This cute and quirky home was the perfect location for all of our New River Gorge adventures. The location was excellent - within walking distance to downtown restaurants and convenient to the bridge, hiking trails and Fayetteville Station Road. White water rafting outfitters less than 5 mins away. House was very clean, kitchen well equipped. Back deck perfect spot for morning coffee or evening snacks. This home is perfect for family gatherings as well as a girls weekend away. Would definitely visit again!

A trip to remember!

Elizabeth's home was the PERFECT location for a mini-reunion with family. Six of us stayed very comfortably in the home -- including our addition of an air mattress in the bedroom with two single beds so our three teens could have a perpetual slumber party! Photos were spot on with the reality of the home. And the back deck and yard were perfect for home-cooked breakfasts and dinners, and evening games. Location was perfect for rafting, hiking, swimming and more. Thank you again and again, Elizabeth, for four fabulous days!

A good place for 6 guys to stay for 3 nights

The house is centrally located to downtown (1/3 mile) and the New River Gorge bridge (3 miles). The home is well kept. The only concern we had was severe paint pealing in the ceiling of the dining room. The owner assured us that there the 20 layers of old paint didn't have any lead in it and that it would be repaired. We didn't spend any time in that room. It's well kept and good for a large group.

The home was exactly as advertised. My spouse and I were visiting the New Gorge National Park and Fayetteville. Our trip could not have been more pleasant. The home had great and thoughtful advantages. No steps, close to where we wanted to be. With great touches, like enough coffee for our entire visit. Even oil & spices should we have cooked. However instead of cooking we had fabulous meals at several of the local restaurants.

Wonderful bungalow!

I just returned from a week long stay at the DT bungalow. I was traveling with my husband, 5 young adults and 2 dogs. Our big group loved this stylish, comfy, well stocked home. This property has so many areas to hang out as a big group such as family game night at the dining room table, big breakfast in the large kitchen, campfire in the pit area or playing fetch with the dogs in the beautiful back yard. If it's quiet you're looking for, the front patio, one of the bedrooms, the living room are so comfortable. The proximity to downtown Fayetteville was the biggest factor in my decision to rent this property and it didn't disappoint. The coffee shops, vintage stores, restaurants, outdoor outfitters are all a short walk from the house. We took advantage of all the area has to offer including the Bridge Walk, whitewater rafting, a coal mine tour, boating at Summersville lake and plenty of hiking. This home is centrally located for all of these activities. Finally, I am always worried renting a dog friendly home. This house was immaculate. It smelled clean and fresh upon arrival and I didn't see evidence of dog hairs or accidents from prior dogs. Communication with Elizabeth was excellent. She was welcoming and extremely responsive. I will absolutely stay here again.

Perfect in every way.

This home is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The hostess Elizabeth is very responsive and communicative. Great location for exploring New River Gorge National Park and nearby state parks. Close to major roads, restaurants and grocery stores. I’m very glad we chose this property.

QUIET, QUIRKY PLACE

This property is located in a quiet neighborhood with minimal parking, but overflow parking isn't too far away. The remodeled house itself has an interesting and quirky layout which I wasn't sure if it would work out, but in the end turned out to be just what we needed. Communication with the property manager was easy. Yes, she did check with us on the first day to see if there was anything we needed, but until the last day we didn't hear from her unless we sent her a question. The house was extremely clean and decorated for the holidays, giving it an extra special vibe. A one level house, which for some members of our group made it easier to get around the house. In addition, several in our group rated the mattresses as the most comfortable they had slept on. The location made downtown Fayetteville very easy to walk to and explore. In all, I would suggest this house as a good location for a group looking for place to meet up at.

My Story

A designer by trade, I have a passion for finding homes that need TLC and bringing them back to life. In 2014 I purchased the delightful bungalow have worked on renovating it ever since. In 2018 , I decided I wanted to share my home to help offset renovation costs and to provide a fun, unique space for visitors to stay while visiting the New River Gorge National Park. I am passionate about creating unique spaces and hosting others! In 2021, I renovated another property for guests, and am excited to share my homes with you.
