Nice Vacay for us

Condo was very nice , view was amazing , resort was well staffed and nice . Only complaint was the area rug by sofa was very dirty , could use a good cleaning or replacement . Other wise a wonderful place to enjoy a vacation .

Great view

The property was nice But it need some updates like the sofa had stains and wear markings, shower curtain had some mold, that unit just needs some work. I would definitely stay again if it was remodeled.

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Beach! The condo was exactly as described. We enjoyed the beach and the pools. This was our first trip to Destin and I'm sure we will be back!

Great condominium complex to stay at

Location is perfect, views are nice and staff was friendly. The couch needs to be replaced as well as some pans, other than that the condo was clean and cozy!

Overall for the price and length of stay it was a good experience. The only thing I would recommend would be to change out the couch in the living room.

Views and more!

Pelican has a great cafe and the balcony view is perfect! The outdoor furniture isn’t fancy, but it’s functional! The couch is dated, but it’s still comfy (we didn’t use the pull out). My kids loved the bunk beds, and we found the king bed comfortable. If bringing littles, the dishes are all glass, but that’s the only thing we found lacking in the kitchen.

Family fun

The property as a whole was great. In the condo itself, it would have been nice to have more towels, we had 1 each. There was no washer and dryer in the unit, we had to use the laundromat. Also there were minimum items such as toilet paper or trash bags. We haven’t stayed in Destin for awhile, this may be all that is required. Also the pots and pans were in bad shape. We usually cook a lot .

A “3” Only For Location

I was very disappointed in the condition of this unit. This unit is old and dingy, in need of serious updating. The ceiling was peeling down. The couch is old and dirty. The kitchen is bare. The bedding was dirty with stains and the unit itself was dirty. Previous guests’ body hair was all over the bathroom and shower. Would not recommend this unit!! However, I would recommend Pelican Beach Resort.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was exactly as described. Sometimes you wonder if these places exaggerate or “doctor up” photos to make it seem nicer than it is, but this place was very accurate & enjoyable. The kids thought it was fun having their bunk beds, the condo was clean and organized, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye with a classy, coastal vibe. The kitchen is not stocked with pans & containers like you’d have at your house, but there was a reasonable amount of useful items to enjoy the perks of having a kitchen. Same with the beds... not like at home, but they were decent for a rental Having the cafe/tiki hut downstairs was so nice and convenient. I appreciated the security on site too to ensure only people with resort tags & wrist bands were allowed on site. The staff was nice. Made me feel safer having children with me. Location is great... close to lots of shops & restaurants. And I can’t forget to mention the VIEW from our balcony... absolutely gorgeous!!! We would definitely stay here again! (Minor note to owner: towel rack in Master bathroom is coming loose. May want to have maintenance tighten it up.)

Pros-great location to restaurants, shopping, beaches. Clean. Cons-all furniture was worn out ages ago. Nothing in this unit says you are at the beach unless you look outside. Very short on amenities...no kleenex, one bar soap to share between two baths, one bath mat to share between two baths. No conservative news stations on tv. Toilet screams after flushing in second bathroom. Deck furniture sub standard. Would not recommend

The view from the balcony and living room area is stunning...emerald green water and white sandy beaches. The condo was clean and the check in was seamless. You can not check in early as the code to the door is on a timer - your code will not work until 4pm - not a big deal as there is a lot to do nearby if you arrive a bit early as we did.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful views of the Gulf. Check in was easy with friendly service. Grounds and pools were very clean and well tended to. Condo itself was ok, needs a goid cleaning and updated couch. Bedding was not the cleanest especially the pull out bed so did not use it. Kitchen was adequate for our needs.

The unit was quiet. The pools were warm and we enjoyed watching the dolphins from our balcony. The pull out sofa mattress was terrible and the sofa looked dirty. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time. The Resort is very nice, it has 3 heated pools and 2 Hot Tubs. The Resort has recently been all repainted. Our condo we had was clean , we had a problem with a kitchen appliance and they were out within the hour to fix it. The property manager was so kind and easy to communicate and contact. This particular unit needs a New Couch!!! Everything in the kitchen and bathrooms was good. I would love to see some beach decorations in the bedroom. We will stay there again because of the team and the lived the resort.
