Dieses charmante Familienstrandhaus ist neu auf dem Markt und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand entfernt. Die Caddy-Hütte wurde kürzlich renoviert und verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 1 & amp; 1/2 Bäder mit einer geräumigen Außendusche. Es gibt einen eingezäunten Hof, der es perfekt für Ihren vierbeinigen Freund macht. Das große Wickeldeck lädt zu jeder Tageszeit zum Entspannen ein. Dieses Strandhaus bietet bequem Platz für 6 Personen und bietet Blick auf den Golf und die Bucht. Mit Fernsehern in jedem Zimmer und WLAN ist dies der perfekte Ort, um sich innen oder außen zu entspannen. Für den Angler haben wir eine robuste Fischreinigungsstation mit aufgesetztem Sprühschlauch. Wir könnten in der Lage sein, ein Spielesystem rechtzeitig zur Verfügung zu stellen. *** Wir sind hundefreundlich mit einer zusätzlichen, nicht erstattbaren Gebühr von 75 USD für Haustiere zur Deckung der Kosten für die zusätzliche Reinigung ***

Another great stay at the Caddy Shack

We had another amazing stay at The Caddy Shack - even though Mother Nature wanted to make sure we saw all her fireworks and winds with big storms until Sunday. As always, the house was inviting and the perfect location across the street from the beach. We loved having our teenagers and our fur babies on Dauphin Island for the end of 2024.

Awesome little beach house getaway

I brought my wife, 2 kids, and our 2 dogs down for the weekend. We specifically were looking for places that allowed dogs and figured we’d have to “settle” on a place just so they could go. Couldn’t have been further from what we found at the Caddy Shack. It was perfect. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything we needed was there and it was less than a 2 block walk to the beach. We all highly recommend the Caddy Shack.

Wonderful family vacation

We loved our stay on Dauphin Island. It was a first time visiting and the people on the Island are so friendly. The home is located close to everything that we wanted to do. A short walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking our dogs in the neighborhood during the evenings. We would love to visit again.

Really cool place

We loved our stay. It was the perfect space for our family of 5. (2 adults, two teenagers, one dog). The little fenced-in area for the dog was a great addition. The outdoor shower is a nice touch. The walk to the beach is short. Tranquil area, great for disconnecting. We plan to come back next year! We were early getting to town but the host had it ready early and let us check in early. 5 stars all around!

The perfect place to call home for a week at the beach!

Such a welcoming environment. They have everything you need - we actually stayed here two years ago and it was so awesome we chose to stay here again. My family rented a different house through a local company and the accommodations / responsiveness of their property vs staying here made it very apparent this was the right call! They had beach chairs and umbrella ready for our beach day, our dogs loved it here, such a close walk to the beach, outside shower is helpful to rinse off. It’s the perfect place for your DI escape. Thankful to John & Caroline!

Great stay

The property was perfect for our family and the listing is quite accurate. The furniture was very clean and nice, but the beds were not the most comfortable. The beach is within walking distance if you use the cut-through (we didn't notice the cut-through until our last day) if you access through the public beach parking costs $10 a day but is good for all three public beaches. There were a lot of mosquitos in the area. The fenced-in yard was quite small for our dogs but still worked out well for us. They provided a lot of extra conveniences (beach chairs, umbrella, towels) we only used the chairs but it was a great surprise. They do have cameras on the property which we've never had beyond the Ring doorbell, so that felt a little weird. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Clean and comfortable (and cute!)

The property is managed by the owners, who are quick to respond to questions. The house is so clean and uncluttered, with super cute beach decor. It’s a great stay with little kids. Everything worked as it should. If you forget something, the house probably has it. We really enjoyed our stay!

Such a great time at this spot. We normally go for the more popular PCB but were impressed with this place. Property was within an easy walking distance to beach and only a 3 min drive to a park to drop our kayaks in.

Awesome dog friendly vacation rental

For the last few years, I’ve taken beach vacations with just my family, but always wanted to take the dogs to the beach. Being from Kansas, it was a daunting task. When I saw this rental, the location, the ease to everything on the island, the fenced yard, and the reasonable pet fee. I decided to go for it and booked this house. The owners answered every question for me, and even accommodated a change in dates due to an unknown conflict in schedule on my end. The homeowners are absolutely some of the best folks I have had to work with for a vacation rental. They provided everything I possibly could need including extra sheets to cover anything dog hair may stick to, and even so much as brought in a crockpot and air fryer for us to use for meal prep! If you want a great dog friendly rental, with fantastic homeowners, you will not regret this rental.

Little piece of Heaven on the Gulf

What a beautiful home and fantastic location. We loved the quick walk to the beach. Mybdogs loved the fenced in yard and lounging on the deck. The neighborhood is quiet and charming for daily dog walks. There's even a little community park a few blocks down that was perfect for letting the dogs chase a ball. The kids loved the bunk room and all of the toys, books and games provided. Two bathrooms was a bonus, as was the outdoor shower which became a huge hit for the the kids after beach time. Us adults loved the fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer. The games were a huge hit too- we had fun playing dominoes every night. We brought boogie boards and beach towels, but didn't need to as the house had those provided too. We loved the beach theme throughout the house and the spaciois seating areas in the family room and deck. I could've lived on that deck with my book all week. Highly recommend this lovely home and if we ever return to DI we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Fall Break Getaway

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and absolutely plan to come back! It’s a hidden gem of a rental with easy beach access (quick walk across the street), a tidy house with all of the conveniences you could need and very responsive owners. My two boys (5 and 6) love the bunk room that has legos, books, blocks and more. We like to take our bikes in the fall and use that as our mode of transportation around the island, too. Don’t sleep on this rental!

Cozy cottage on the beach

Just like grandma’s house, is how I would describe our stay in Caroline’s house. From the memorable little kid, Mickey Mouse plates that I used to have for my own children (that my own mother has in her house), right down to the softest sheets and comforters. The views were beautiful. The house was comfortable. A perfect stay for our family vacation.

Great time at Caddy Shack

Love the location. It’s such an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. So happy to see the dishwasher was added since our last stay. The beds are very comfortable with quality linens. All the bedrooms have TVs which is really great. The neighborhood is super quiet but not all neighbors abide by the leash policy. Of course that’s not fault of this property owner. She provides a fenced in pet area which is rare in rental properties. I would recommend this house to anyone I know going to Dauphin Island. It’s all around wonderful place to stay

relaxing stay right off the beach

Cute, clean house. Plenty of room! Great bed linens and a wonderful experience for our pup Millie! Small fenced in enclosure for her while we were away. Outside shower was the best!
