Die Ferienwohnung Azul ist ein fantastisches, modernes Apartment im Herzen von Praia da Luz. Mit seinen 156m² & den 2 großen Shclafzimmern ist es ausgesprochen geräumig und bietet 6 Personen Platz (+ Kinderbett). Die Ferienwohnung ist das größte in einem neuen, exkl. Komplex von 8 Apartments in der Rua Direita. Der Komplex verfügt über eine eigenes Pool & eine fant. Dachterrasse mit einem traumhaften Rundum-Blick in alle Himmelsrichtungen, auf das Meer, die Klippen & die Bucht - ein herrlicher Ort, um sich zu sonnen! Zur Apartmentanlage gehört auch eine Tiefgarage, in der das Apt. Azul 2 Stellplätze hat. Das Apt. Azul verfügt über 3 eigene Balkone/Terrassen; 2 davon mit Meerblick, eine mit Poolblick. Hier läßt es sich herrlich im Freien grillen (Grill vorhanden) oder einfach nur bei einem Aperitiv ausspannen. Sowohl die beiden geräumigen Schlafzimmer als auch das rießige, helle & luftige Wohnzimmer sind klimatisiert. Das ganze Apartment ist sehr gut & geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Schöne sehr große sehr saubere Wohnung in Luz

Außergewöhnlich saubere wohnung, sehr gut ausgestattet, gute Betten Küche gut ausgestattet- alles vorhanden. Allerdings ist es nachts bus ca. 2 uhr sehr laut durch die darunter liegende Bar. Sonst alle Top. Außerdem liegt die Wohnung Fußläufig zum Strand. Sehr vorteilhaft ist die sehr große Garage !

Amazing times in Luz with Apartment azul

We really enjoyed the time in Luz in this big and really comfotable appartment, really everything was fine and we enjoyed parking very safe and cool in the garage. Also luxury was you have 3 balkony to choose ! we loved it! Yes there is the street which we found really good cause we also had benefit to drive directly to the house. The restaurant we not tried as we cooked for us, but looked nice. The Bar is fine at the end, young people need this and its really stopping at 2am ! Only one room is therefore a little bit noisy but i was able to sleep with earpods :) I would stay again as the balance is 100%positive and Fiona and Husband include the Flat Management is very reachable and helpfull!! Such a beautiful beach nearby flat!!!

Zentral gelegene Wohnung mit einigen Abstrichen

Die Wohnung ist gross und war gut saubergemacht. Mit der Firma die vor Ort Verantwortung trug, waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wir haben immer Hilfe bekommen; war es mit dem Fernseher, mit der Waschmaschine oder als die Garagentür bei unsere Abreise kaputt ging. Positiv war auch, dass die Wohnung 3 Balkons hat und dass man sich Sonne oder Schatten aussuchen konnte. Zu den Negativen gehörte: durchgelegte Madratzen, keine deutschsprachige Fernsehprogramme, Geräusche von Restaurant und Bar und bellende Hunde vom Nachbarhaus.

Großzügige Wohnung, prima eingerichtet und Balkon mit Meerblick

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Luz. Der Ort ist angenehm klein, alles prima erreichbar, am schönen Strand ist man in 5 Minuten. Die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht, inclusive Parkplatz für das Auto. Großzügig geschnittene Wohnung mit riesigem Wohnzimmer, mit zwei großen Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmern. Drei Balkone in unterschiedliche Richtungen je nach dem, ob man Sonne oder Schatten möchte. Man merkt, dass die Wohnung auch selbst genutzt wird, da sie sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Sowohl in der Küche ist alles was man braucht. DVDs, Bücher und diverse (englischsprachige) TV-Sender bieten an Regentagen oder Abenden Unterhaltung.

Vi nød en familie ferie i Luz. Dejlig lejlighed med god plads. Forskellige altaner at benytte. Dog er der en del trafik fra vejen som meget tydeligt kan høres om morgenen. Poolen havde vores drenge glædet sig meget til. Der er dog en del restriktioner. Så det er primært en “dyppe pool” da der hverken må hoppes eller spille bold i den. Men efter en dag på eventyr eller på stranden er det dejligt at kunne blive afkølet. Der er en del kemikalier i poolen, og efter rengøringen blev vi anbefalet ikke at bade i den, før der går noget tid. Svært at vide hvor lang tid det er. Vi har været glade for en hyggelig base til vores ferie i Portugal.

The location is perfectly central The size of the rooms is generous Air conditioning in every room (not that we needed it). Host is extremely hospitable and easy to reach. Other tenants mentioned a noisy bar downstairs but it doesn’t bother anyone if you close the windows while they’re open

Great Apartment

Great week away in Luz in mid-June. Apartment was plenty big enough for 4 adults and very clean with aircon. Great location in terms of access to beach and good restaurants in the village/town - 5/10 minute downhill walk. 10 min walk to supermarkets. Rooftop terrace used every day - never anyone else up there. Didn’t use the pool. The only negative thing for us was the bar next door (or next door but one) to the apartment called Ollie’s. It’s open til 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning and some nights there’s live music. There was a lot of noise every night we were there from the bar until around 1:00am - either music or loud shouting/talking/laughing after people had a drink. The bedrooms are at the front of the building. EarPods/ear plugs helped.

Apartment in Luz

The apartment is very big and the facilities on offer were very good. The walk back from the beach is quite steep but there is an alternative flatter, slightly longer route back. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. IWe had a hire car which was parked in a dedicated garage within the complex car park. We would recommend this apartment as ideal for families, there were 5 in our group.

Great location, spacious, lots of light and balconies. Comfy beds.

We loved the large space, but it was cold during January - hard to stay warm even with heaters going and many blankets. Apparently it was one of the coldest winters in years! Everything within easy walking - Daily beautiful beach stroll with surfers and stunning vistas, many excellent restaurants nearby, waterfront activity with shopping and food, great local freshly ground coffee at The Studio, grocery stores - everything you need or imagine while staying in a lovely Beach of Light village. Luz is also close to so many beautiful places within 10-30 minutes drive. Lots to do with hiking, renting an E-mountain bike, SUP, Kayak, Padel club, tennis, cycling or visiting nearby villages and outdoor markets to explore Portuguese way of life.

Apartamento com excelentes áreas e localização

O apartamento tem dois quartos com áreas generosas, facilmente permitindo adicionar uma cama extra (ou mesmo duas, no caso do quarto maior). Além da cama de casal (quarto principal, colchão um pouco mole) e das duas camas individuais (quarto maior), são disponibilizados dois divãs dobráveis (não muito confortáveis) e um sofá-cama dobrável (confortável). A sala é enorme e está equipada com 3 sofás de 3 lugares, portanto há sempre lugar para todos. A mesa de refeições é grande e tem 6 lugares. Tem uma varanda para as traseiras (zona da piscina), orientada para NW e outra varanda de boas dimensões para a frente (Rua Direita), orientada para SE (vista de montanha e parcial de mar). Cozinha equipada com o fundamental, mas mais alguma loiça/talheres e uma máquina de lavar loiça dariam muito jeito. A praia está a distância pedonal (5-10 minutos a pé), sendo que o regresso poderá ser um pouco custoso para pessoas mais idosas com mobilidade condicionada. A praia é excelente e campos de voleibol, desportos náuticos e carrinhos para facilitar o acesso a pessoas com mobilidade condicionada. Aspectos menos positivos são o isolamento acústico insuficiente das janelas/caixilharias existentes, o facto de existir um bar mesmo encostado ao prédio (em funcionamento até às 2 h da manhã quase todos os dias) e um problema com a água quente na banheira de uma das casas de banho (que tentaram resolver durante a estadia, mas sem sucesso). Alguns pequenos problemas e solicitações foram resolvidos durante a estadia, através de contacto directo com a agência, outros não foi possível resolver, alegadamente pelo facto da empresa de manutenção ter os funcionários de quarentena profilática (devido ao covid).

In need of a refurb

Although a big apartment and very clean it is in need of an overhaul. Draw front in the kitchen needs repairing keeps falling off, toilet seat in the en suite kept my husband busy tightening it up every other day. Bed in the main bedroom needs a new matress, I gave up and slept in the single bed. Towels are very thin and apartment very basic. Noise from the street from the constant stream of traffic made sitting on the front balcony a trial rather than a pleasure. The internet and tv was the best reception we have had in Luz and the sofas are very comfortable. However not terribly expensive so you get what you pay for.

Lovely large apartment ,well equipped ideal for families. Lovely pool situated at the the rear of the apartment ,but weather hit and miss while there so did not use pool. Apartment well appointed .close to beach and restaurants and dependent on mobility between 5 -15 walk .bus route in view from balcony but would advise walking to bus stop by church as buses usually full by time they get to bus stop by apartment .Management and cleaner very helpful ,had trouble with tv but sorted out straight away .company used re airport transfers very good .(7 seas) Owner has contact details . Well situated apartment with everything you need

Lovely spacious apartment

We had a lovely holiday in Luz and the apartment was in a good location for the beach and local restaurants. Due to bedrooms being right on the road side and the restaurant underneath noise levels were quite high sometimes.

The apartment is great, spacious and bright.

The apartment is well equipped, comfortable, well located, with good terraces, just a little noisy because the cobblestone street. All shops and services are nearby, as the beach (Luz is a small town) We fail to operate the television (the picture looks green) but it was not a priority for us, so we did not use. Upon arrival we found the glass broken coffee, they promised to bring us another, but it was not, however was not a problem. The main bed is a bit overdue toward the middle, but still quite comfortable. Except those little details (which remarked if you are interested), the apartment is fine.

A fantastic gem of an apartment in Luz.

We have just returned from a six week stay in Apartamento Azul and had a fantastic time. We did not wish to leave. The apartment is very centrally located. It is spacious, very well equipped with everything you need for a perfect holiday and it is beautifully clean and comfortable. There are three balconies and it is just bliss sitting on one of them for breakfast in the sunshine. You have views of the sea and cliffs and there is a well maintained pool which would be perfect in the Summer. The roof terrace has panoramic views and loungers and is a real sun trap! A maid comes in regularly and changes the sheets and towels and cleans. Soon after you arrive, Nicola from the management agency pops in to check that you have all you need and is on hand to answer any questions. We have stayed in Vila Margarida, also owned by Fiona Harris, so when we decided to stay in the apartment for the first time , we had every confidence that it would be as described in the listings. ( We are always a bit nervous when we book accommodation through the internet). Luz itself is so pretty and unspoilt, with a sandy beach, promenade, good cafés and restaurants, as well as a few shops for provisions. Indeed, you can walk down from the apartment and go into a couple of very good restaurants, Ondaluz and Chicca's. We can recommend the apartment wholeheartedly and cannot wait to return.

Our family has been holidaying in Praia da Luz since the late 1970s and we love the resort and the area. In 2000 we were lucky enough to buy a villa in Luz, Vila Margarida which we also rent out. We wanted another smaller place nearby, both to use ourselves when travelling as a couple without the whole family, but also when we had groups renting Vila Margarida who needed more accommodation and saw the brand new development in the Rua Direita and snapped up Apartamento Azul.

Its a great setting, right in the heart of Praia da Luz. We love the apartment and really enjoy our stays there, its so central and I love sitting on the front balcony watching the world go by. You have many facilities right on your doorstep including a highly rated restaurant and a popular bar. The roof terrace is the icing on the cake! Its a fabulous spot to sunbathe and enjoy the gorgeous views!
