Hübsches Landgut mit Schwimmbad in unmittelbarer Nähe des malerischen, mittelalterlichen Dorfs von San Donato in Poggio, zwischen Florenz und Siena. Das Landgut besteht aus 3 gemütlichen Ferienwohnungen die komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet sind. Weinberge und Olivenhaine umgeben die Ferienwohnungen und ist es möglich den Chianti Classico Wein und gutes kaltgepresstes Olivenöl zu probieren und vor Ort zu kaufen. Im Grünen versunken, ist das Landgut gleichzeitig nah dem Dorf von San Donato (Fußentfernung) mit sehr guten Restaurants, Pizzerien und mehreren Geschäften gelegen. Die Zufahrtstrasse ist nicht asphaltiert, doch in gutem Zustand.
Entfernungen: San Donato in Poggio mit Geschäften 500 m, Greve in Chianti 15Km, San Gimignano 18 Km, Florenz 20 Km, Siena 35 Km, Pisa (Flughafen) 95 Km, Arezzo ca. 100 Km, Cortona 140 Km, Rom ca. 300 Km.
Zur Verfügung der Gäste: Grosse Außenbereiche mit ausgestattetem Garten, Schwimmbad (6X12 m- Mindesttiefe 1,2 m – Höchsttiefe 1,4 m – geöffnet vom 01/06 bis 30/09) zur gemeinsamen Benutzung mit den anderen Gästen mit Liegestühlen, Lauben, Sonnenschirmen, Tischen und Stühlen. Schöner Park für entspannende Wanderungen bis zu dem See,der auf dem Besitz liegt. Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück.
Abendessen, und Weinproben der Produkte aus eigener Herstellung (Wein, süßer Wein, Schnaps, Olivenöl) können organisiert werden. Diese Aktivitäten werden in einem schönen, gemeinschaftlichen Saal stattfinden.

San Donato 1 und San Donato 2 können zusammen (für insgesamt 10/14 Personen) dank einigen Verbindungstüren gemietet werden.

Très belle maison, le site est magnifique. L'appartement loué: très grand, 3 grandes chambres avec chacune sa salle de bain, étaient très propre, bien équipé. La wifi fonctionnait très bien. La maison se trouve au sein d'un domaine bien entretenu, avec une grand piscine très agréable de laquelle on peut admirer la campagne toscane! De plus, l'accueil a été très sympathique. Nous y retournerons! À recommander!

We were really happy with our stay in San Donato, apartment really good, pool was excellent and surroundings as well! Due to the extreme warmth we'd love an ac and that is the only thing missing. We brought our own fans, they were much needed! All in all, a really good week, everybody happy.

Mooi appartement in een charmant dorp wat op loopafstand is. Aardige eigenaresse, spreekt goed engels, zeer behulpvaardig. Bij aankomst een klein probleempje met de bedden wat meteen opgelost werd. Klein beetje achterstallig onderhoud van de toiletten in de badkamers. [English Translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Beautiful apartment in a charming village which is within walking distance. Nice owner, speaks good English, very helpful. Upon arrival a little problem with the beds which was immediately dissolved. Little bit of maintenance needed for toilets / bathrooms. We had a great time!

Bel appartement spacieux dans une grande villa, propre, au calme. De plein pied et avec un espace privé extérieur avec mobilier de jardin et barbecue, le San Donato 2 est idéal pour manger dehors. On y a vécu facilement à 4 adultes, 3 enfants et 1 bébé. La piscine est agréable et très bien entretenue. L'accueil est chaleureux et l'accueillante se montre très disponible et à l'écoute. Elle nous a été d'une aide précieuse lorsque 2 d’entre nous ont rencontré des soucis de santé. Merci Julia pour ta gentillesse et ta disponibilité. Great Villa in a good location... A few things really let our experience down and this mainly came down to some miss leading information and the way the owners who live in one of the villas treated us. Firstly, it is described to have a washing machine, this is not true. One of the owners (mother) will do the washing for 6 Euro per load. And if you think this will come back dry, think again. We returned from a day out sightseeing to have our washing dumped on the outside table, wet and in a garbage bag. So some of our clothes smelt and had to be re-washed. We also had an additional guest stay (even though we paid for the full weeks villa) we asked if it was okay and were told okay, then when it came to check out time, the owners wanted to charge that guest an extra 20 euro per night which again was not explained nor could we understand why it would be extra when we paid for the full weeks pax. The owners then told us they said it was okay because they could not see all the people who were there even though we were all standing there and they could see us all... Poor communication skills by the owners, seriously. One last thing is that it says the pool is private, think again, about 10 school kids came one day and came in the pool, basically taking over... Also, you need to wear a swimming cap in their pool which they fail to tell you. seriously, we were on holidays. felt more like a school camp. these swimming caps they wanted you to wear would also cost 5 euro each... There is also BBQ facilities and you would think there would be BBQ tongs to turn the meat etc, there is not so pack these if you are planning on using the BBQ. Overall a great villa and location, these other things mentioned about did leave a bad taste in our mouth. There is a cleaning fee too and while the villa was mostly clean, I would not say the floors were kept very clean. No air-con in here either as mentioned on the web so would not stay here in the middle of the summer.
