Acadia Yurts bietet Besuchern die einzigartigste Art, sich auf Mount Desert Island aufzuhalten. Sieben spaßige, umweltfreundliche Jurten und zwei kleine Häuser bringen Sie der Natur so nahe wie Camping, mit allen Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause. Das Acadia Yurts liegt auf einem 5 Hektar großen, bewaldeten Land, umgeben von Acadia National Park. Es bietet einen ruhigen Rückzugsort für Ihre Gruppe (bis zu 4 Gäste pro 24 'Jurte, 6 Gäste für 30' Jurten oder 2 Gäste pro kleines Haus). Acadia Yurts ist auch ideal für große Gruppen, die mit Unterkünften für bis zu 34 Personen an einem Ort reisen.

Cutest and comfiest tiny house!!

My partner and I LOVED our stay at Acadia Yurts!! It was the perfect place to have as a home base as we spent the week hiking and exploring the towns around us, perfectly quiet and peaceful which allowed us to very comfortably recharge. The tiny house we stayed in for the week was extremely clean and the hosts were super accommodating and responsive. The property really made our trip perfect, we are so grateful!

Quick girls trip

This was the perfect stop for us on a weekend trip. Was definitely worth the 9+ hour drive to check out all the beauty the coast of Maine and Acadia NP has to offer!! This tiny house meet all of our expectations, was a great location, and owners had amazing communication. Highly recommend!

Perfect Acadia Getaway

Tiny bit of paradise

My husband and I stayed in the precipice tiny house. It had everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay. The bed was comfortable, shower nice and hot, and the shelving and baskets throughout provided ample space for all of our things. Loved the location! If you’re going to Acadia, stay here. Perfect stay on the quiet side of MDI

We had everything we needed for a base camp as we visited a friend and of course spent most of our time exploring Acadia. This was the most economical place we could find and it was a score for sure. Hosts were on site most days and very helpful. Utilized the laundry facility where board games and extra kitchen items were supplied. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be sure to come back! Cheers.

Zu Gast bei Karen Roper

Aaron is an Maine native. He was born and raised across the bridge in Trenton and grew up attending local Bar Harbor schools. He has worked in the restaurant industry for the past 15+ years beginning as a prep cook in high school then moving toward general manager. Aaron's favorite extracurricular activity is learning all he can about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As often as he can, he trains locally and loves sharing this passion with others.

Karen is a transplant. Originally from Chicago she made her way to Maine in 2009 and fell in love immediately. In Acadia she enjoys hiking, trail running, yoga, and long walks on the carriage roads. Karen has been teaching yoga locally for over 6 years and now brings her practice to the Wellness Center (located on site at Acadia Yurts). Karen is also a licensed massage therapist and offers services onsite.

As a couple we have done quite a bit of traveling and through that we have narrowed down the particular way we like to travel. The biggest factor for us is having a furnished kitchen in order to prepare health minded foods to nourish our bodies and support all our outdoor activities. The idea for Acadia Yurts has been brewing for quite some time. Friends of ours live off the grid in a yurt and we greatly appreciate the rustic, romantic feel of the yurt but wanted some of the comforts of home- running water, heat, electricity. From there Acadia Yurts was born. We deeply hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!!
