THE LAKE IS JUST A SHORT WALK DOWN THE COUNTRY LANE - it is not in your backyard but it's very close by. Lakeside firepit area is shared by all the 13 cabins located in the Mountain Lake Resort.

March down to the lake and take a stroll around the serene mountain setting watching for the natural wildlife abundant in our area. Just a few yards further and you can enjoy the beautiful, rushing mountain creek. It's lovely. Enjoy a roaring fire in the gas firepit beside the lake. (community location for the resort) And later enjoy a beautiful fire in your very own gas fireplace (October - April). Or a soak in your private hot tub on the deck. The fully furnished kitchen will offer the perfect spot for preparing full meals or light snacks to enjoy in your cabin. Whether there are 2 of you or all 4 you will have enough seating at the kitchen table.

For those longing for solitude, peace and quiet - this is it! You've found your spot. No next door neighbors, no street with cars passing by, no noise from attractions - just beauty and you and the mountains on 135 gorgeous untouched acres. About 4 miles from this cabin is the beautiful Gatlinburg Community Center - a complex with indoor swimming pool, basketball court, ping pong, bowling alley, weight room and showers. For a very reasonable fee visitors are welcome to take advantage of this beautiful complex. Please check out the website for info. Also only about four miles away is the Mills Park with a playground for the children, and covered picnic tables and grills for your get togethers.

Three miles away is The Greenbriar section of The Smoky Mountain National Park. This is a lesser known entrance with many beautiful trails, plenty of parking, picnic area, playground and access to the Pigeon River throughout. Ramsey Cascades is a favorite amongst hikers.
