Perfect ski location .... could not have been closer to lift!
Second floor apartment overlooking the main lift station (30 second walk) - the convenience was staggering! Ski hire shop and bar/restaurant 1 minute away. Main village charming and beautifully characterful with excellent range of restaurants, supermarket,bakeries, gift shops etc - approx 5 mins walk. Very friendly welcoming resort.Underground garage with allocated parking space. Fairly steep ramp down which could prove tricky in fresh snow/ice - bag of grit provided in boot locker. Unheated boot room with allocated locker. The signs saying not to wear ski boots around the building were largely ignored by the few people we saw. Lift from apartment down into garage/boot room. We left skis in the boot locker but brought ski boots up to our room to dry/warm overnight.Apartment accessed via stairs or lift. It was quiet and felt warm, secure and welcoming. A little old fashioned in places but everything worked, it was clean and well equipped. The main bathroom is upstairs (bath and 2 x basins). The toilet is downstairs off the kitchen which needed careful navigation in the night. We initially had doubts about the shower but were proved wrong - water was hot and pressure excellent although headroom is restricted.Comfy king-sized bed and single bed on upper mezzanine level. Sofa beds on ground floor. We loved this quirky little apartment and it suited us well as a couple. No frills but exceptionally good value, the perfect location and we will definitely be returning.
