Our family just returned from a 5 day/4 night visit at Finley's and already are planning our return. Very nice folks that own the facility, the grounds were well-kept and family friendly, to include a fire pit, lit trails, and visits from a deer and several types of squirrels. The owners provide kayaks and canoes for all to use and there is a fishing shop two doors over from the site where we were able to get bait to fish for fishing in the river. There's also a bike rental shop right next door to the site, but unfortunately, they were out of bikes during our visit, so be sure to plan ahead. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, and stocked with everything we could need while traveling...all we had to do was stop in town for groceries and we were all set! There is a grill, picnic table, umbrella, and clothesline outside each cabin, and the internet connection was strong enough to let mom get homework done and family movie time to stream from our computer through the flat-screen TV. There is a neat little Main Street with fun shops right around the corner and a delicious BBQ/Blues place right on the river with lots of outdoor seating. Everyone in our family, including our two dogs, had a wonderful time, and we're so glad we found Finley's!
