Great Place To Stay

This was a great place and area to stay. Lots of things to do outdoors. We loved listening to the ocean at night. Would stay here again!

Princeville stay

Comfortable space, described accurately ,convenient location in densely populated Princeville. Reasonably close to many North shore beaches and restaurants. Shuttle to Kee Beach located at nearby golf course was a quick walk from the condo. Parking was a bit challenging as this unit didn't have a designated space and we had to park in an adjacent lot but our timing was good so able to park close by.

Beautiful location

This was a cozy studio style rental in the beautiful Princeville area. A short walk down the street gives you lovely views of the mountains and ocean. We were mostly at the rental just to sleep, but it provided a nice bed, warm shower, and refrigerator for snacks and breakfast. Check in was easy, communication was good. I only wish there was more leniency and flexibility with refunding unused nights, as our flight was cancelled and we were unable to stay for two of our nights.

Fantastic Location

We absolutely loved our stay here for my spouse and I’s north side leg of our Kauai trip. It was a perfect home base, close to restaurants and walking distance to Hideaway beach and Queen’s Bath, which was one of most spectacular places I have ever seen. Parking anywhere on the north side is very limited so we were grateful we could walk to some of these places! The condo itself had everything we needed and coming back to AC after a hot day at the beach was amazing! I have no complaints and would 100% stay here again!

perfect!

This VRBO had everything we needed and was in a GREAT location. It is really close to a beach and a lookout that’s great for sunsets and we ended up loving the mountain views from the patio. The added bonus of having some beach chairs and towels to use ended up really coming in handy! The place is cute and cozy and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood

Clean apartment with nicely thought out furnishings. Host was very helpful and easy to communicate. The neighborhood is very nice. There's a couple of less crowded beaches within walking distance and the overall vibe is respectfully calm.

Amazing quiet town

Perfect condo right next to hideaways beach which ended up being our favorite place on the island to snorkel or enjoy the beach! No stove but there is an instant pot and grill so you can plan most meals around those two cooking methods. Also plenty of great restaurants within 15 minutes. We loved Kalypso! We came for our honeymoon and loved every minute of it!

Beautiful location

We had everything we needed for stay, kitchen was stocked, beach items were included- cooler, chairs and towels. Martie was so helpful with promptly answering any questions we had. The location is so beautiful especially looking out the lanai to the mountains, foilage and even a rainbow welcomed us our first morning there. We were able to walk down to Hideaway Beach (wear appropriate footwear, its steep) and we also walked over to Queens bath (again wear good footwear). Since there is no washer and dryer, we are thankful we planned accordingly. Thanks again Martie. We definitely recommend.

Cute & Walkable Spot in Princeville

What we were particularly grateful for was the walkability of this place. Just ten minutes away is the 1 Hotel where you can have a nice dinner, drinks, and an unbeatable view of Hanalei Bay. There's also Hideaway Beach, another short walk from the property with wonderful snorkeling! My only complaint about this place is parking. The "permit-only" rule is somewhat complicated. You're only allowed to park in designated spots and there were several times where we would come back at the end of the day, only to find that all the spots were taken by people without permits, leaving us with no parking option. It was a little stressful and confusing at times. Besides that, I highly recommend this place to stay and Martie was a wonderful and communicative host.

Beautiful view!

My husband and I stayed here for a week. As soon as we walked in, I immediately thought it was way better in person than it looked in the pictures. The wifi password pointed out that it was like being in a treehouse. It definitely has that vibe. We could see the top of the napali coast from the lanai. All the lush tropical plants/forest with the birds chirping was lovely as well. A great view to wake up to each morning. The bed was really comfy as well. Parking was weird so if you hate walking that might bug you. We were in paradise, so it was hard for me to be that annoyed about it. But if youre an older person, it might not be for you. Getting to the apartment after 8, left us with very few permit spots to park in, and sometimes required us to walk up a steep hill to get there. All in all, I highly recommend. Beautiful property!

Great location

We love the location, the condo was just as it was stated in the description. It’s a perfect location if you want to explore the area for the price It’s a little harder to get to the beach because you have to walk down the steep hill, but the views are amazing. The only negative we had about the condo was it needed more towels, you get 4 towels total for 3 night stay. The beach towels are old and worn, The bed pillows were extremely dirty and uncomfortable. sitting out on the deck was a little tough because it was not very clean and patio furniture was questionable. When we went to use the dishes, they were also some plates that were dirty. You have to wash your own dishes and I don’t think the people before us did. They should check before the rent it that it is clean. Little things like the lamp shades were dirty. All that adds up, just need a good clean. The condo space is comfortable, quiet and accommodating, I would recommend but know it’s the location and quite that makes this a good place to stay.

Look at the listing very carefully!

My husband I and visit Kauai almost every year. We always book a condo with at least 1 bedroom because I go to bed earlier than him. So imagine my surprise when we check in and this is a studio, even though the listing clearly states 1 BEDROOM. I messaged the property manager and she replied that in the description it says “hotel room style accommodations”. We have stayed in many hotels where they do have bedrooms inside the room. So describing it as "hotel style accommodations" doesn't accurately convey the layout of the listing and is purposefully misleading especially since VRBO allows rentals to be listed as studios. The pictures provided with the listing are cleverly taken and none of them show the room in its entirety (even though it is possible to take a picture of the whole room). That being said, the room was updated with newer flooring and kitchenette. We did make a trip to Costco the day after we checked in to purchase pillows, linens and beach towels. The pillows were absolutely gross if you looked under the pillow case. The did provide beach towels but they were older and small. It's an acceptable space if you know what you are getting.

Spacious and Comfortable Condo

This comfortable condo was perfect for our week-long stay in north Kauai! In a great location, the studio is huge, with living area, kitchen area, and bed next to the lanai. Communication was great. Highly recommend!

Lovely treehouse-esque stay on the north shore

We loved staying here! Very spacious for a studio!! Great sunset views and central location for other north shore activities. Lots of counter space and nice sized fridge. We really appreciated the extra touches provided upon arrival :) The bed is pretty spring-y, so if you are a light sleeper, be prepared. Overall, loved our stay and would stay here again!
