Genießen Sie den Meerblick von der neuen oberen Ebene und tauchen Sie nach einem Strandbesuch, der nur 200 m von zu Hause entfernt ist, in den Pool und den Whirlpool. Die obere Ebene verfügt über ein großes, sonnendurchflutetes großes Zimmer mit großem TV, Esszimmer, Küche, Gästetoilette und King Master Bedroom und Bad mit eigenem Balkon. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein zweites King Master Bedroom und Bath, ein Queen Hall Schlafzimmer und 2 Etagenbetten (4 Betten), die sich ein Bad im Flur teilen. Cozy house with great location!

Great property! This was our second time staying here, and it was another wonderful experience. Great communication with owners, cozy and comfortable living space and bedrooms, updated kitchen, fun pool (though we highly recommend bringing something you can put up for some shade!) and so close to the beach. We’d definitely stay here again 😊

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay! The weather was far from ideal but thankfully the accommodations and location were excellent. The house was well equipped and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and communicative. We had a great stay and hope to return next summer.

Wonderful stay in Corolla!

This was our first time staying in this lovely home and we enjoyed every minute of it! The home was very clean and well appointed with everything we could possibly need and then some! We loved the pool, the hot tub and the location is a short walk to the beach. It is also very convenient to Corolla's shopping and dining. We would not hesitate to rent this property in the future!

Beautiful Place

This is our third stay in this lovely home. Has absolutely everything... from jigsaw puzzles to bikes and a lovely library. An easy walk to the beautiful beach. The pool was utilized multiple times a day... both our grandchildren learned to swim during our beach week. We love everything about this property.

Great location and well stocked

This is a great property. The rental seems to be managed by the owners with an extra attention to detail. We have stayed at properties in the past that are obviously managed by companies that do the bare minimum, and this is not one of them. Definitely would stay again!

Great week at OBX

Two sets of families stayed with kids ranging from 4 to 14 and we had a great time. Beach is close by and the pool was great. Quiet neighborhood but have access to anything you need. Enjoyed fishing on the beach and renting a pontoon boat on the Sound. Would recommend it.

Great vacation home!

Beautiful home with plenty of room and very comfortable for a family. Amazing book selections and games for those rainy days! An awesome pool and hot tub to enjoy after the short walk from the beach! Owners are very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend this house!

Perfect family vacation

This was not only our first family vacation, but also our first vacation in NC. It was perfect! The house was BEAUTIFUL, had plenty of space and something for everyone! Beautiful home!

This was our second stay in this lovely home. So many positives... a great pool, and close to the beach. Games are available at the house, both indoor and outdoor (ping pong and corn hole. ) The recently renovated kitchen is perfect for cooking for a large family. Highly recommend.

Lovely week in August

Beautiful beach house

Will and Allison's beach house in Corolla was the perfect location for our family. The house is stocked with books and games. The view of the ocean from the back deck is beautiful. The beach is barely even a five minute walk away. The kids enjoyed collecting seashells and looking for the crabs in the sand at night. When we come back to the Outer Banks, we'll stay here again!

Glad Tidings Beach Vacay

We had a great time at the property. Will & Allison provided us with a beautiful home for the week. The location of the home was wonderful, close to the beach and not a far drive to good food!! The pool was amazing. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and he was NOT a fan of the ocean or sand so it was most certainly a life saver!!! Many memories made and way more laughs and good times had!!! Thank you Will & Allison for everything!!!

New Memories

From start to finish, this was a great vacation. Weather was perfect. Water was great. We enjoyed the ocean, pool and hot tub. Built sand castles. Flew kites. Fished, went shrimping and crabbing and enjoyed site seeing and biking. Ghost crabbing at night on the beach and even had a deer visit the back yard. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The Gaskins were excellent hosts.

Perfect for the active family!

The location just can’t be beat, so close to the beach, and the pool is a lovely alternative, crystal clean and well-tended. The house is stocked with many recreational items for indoor and outdoor use, including a games, puzzles, a ping pong table & a couple of bikes. There are several places to gather on decks at the front and back of the house with plenty of comfortable seating. The house offers many bedrooms & bathrooms, yet functions well when quiet and privacy are desired. The kitchen is well-stocked and we found everything in good working order. Corolla is a nice family friendly spot on the Outer Banks. I hope this property will be available for our next OBX week.

We're the parents of 5, married since 1994 and love to make memories as a family.

Allison has been coming to Whalehead since the late 1980's and Will joined her when they got married in the mid-90's. Lots of family memories have been made here since then. We rented this house a number of years ago, loved the location and saw the potential in it. So we bought it in 2018 and took some time to renovate. We think you'll like it!

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

One of the many things we love about this house is the location. We're on the "3rd Row" which gives us Ocean views and allows us to hear the ocean crashing on the shore. It is as far north as you can go in Whalehead which means beach access is super close and a walk, jog or bike to the Whalehead Club and Currituck Beach Lighthouse or the shops at Corolla light is super easy. Historic Corolla Village is just on the other side of the Lighthouse and provides hours of wandering (grab a coffee at The Kind Cup or Banana Dog) and browsing and The Beer Garden is not to be missed in the evening. Dad and the boys love to play golf at The Currituck Club just a few miles South. Head just a little further North and you're at the 4-wheel drive beaches for a little extra fun searching for Wild Horses! With all this there is still plenty of access to shopping and we're close to two fully stocked grocery stores (Harris Teeter and Food Lion).
